I was very skeptical about this place because we've had some bad Branson experiences, and the decor was overmuch and not reassuring, nor was the long wait to be seated, while a LOT of empty, dirty tables sat around. However, once we started eating I was very pleasantly surprised. The salad and fruit bar were both fresh, and the potato soup was outstanding. I could have made a meal from just this, easily. My husband ordered the ribeye but I was afraid to spend the money on a steak that might be questionable so I got the country fried steak. Huge mistake. The country fried steak was good, but it paled in comparison to my husband's steak. It was a really, really good steak. Juicy, flavorful... Two bites in the waitress came by and asked if I wanted to exchange my meal for a steak. I did, but felt committed to the meal I ordered. Too bad. Overall this was a good experience and I believe they do have the best steaks in Branson.

4 stars???! This was very disappointing! Maybe it was because we did the buffet, which was awful! The food tasted like it had been dumped out of a can with no preparation, the catfish was about like a poor quality TV dinner, and the dessert was practically non-existent. And all for only 14.99 each without drink! The Plantation House was gourmet dining compared to this, and it was ba-a-ad!

This is THE best steak I have ever had anywhere! The price mght catch u off guard, but the steak is the size of your plate, your choice of potato and the salad buffet plus dessert! So you get more than enough for your money. Service is great people are friendly and atmosphere is awesome!

Service was a little slow as one waitress was the only server for our side of the room with 8-9 tables to manage. But the food came out quickly and was very tasty. Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes/gravy and green beans, plus salad bar and soft serve ice cream for $12.99. Everything was fresh on the salad bar, and the ice cream at the end was a delicious treat. Would definitely go back.

went here this evening for dinner just as they opened for dinner at 4pm. we though they had a buffet but it is just a small salad bar and one soup. the soup was chicken noodle or so the server said. but it was more like a creamy chicken and dumpling soup with extra stuff thrown in. it was not bad. im pretty sure the chicken was from a can and i picked that out but the rest of it tasted really good. salad bar was nice and fresh had your basics. they even peeled the cucumbers which i appreciated. the labels were all incorrect on the dressings so i ended up with 1000 island. it was still good. and it came with my entree. the server had NO knowledge of the menu and sighed when i asked her to go find out the answer to my question. then menu said ribeye steak but in the description it called it prime rib. two different things. i love ribeye and i do not like prime rib. finally i ordered it and it was about twenty one bucks and included baked potato and salad bar. i asked for well done not charcoal. so what of it that was edible was ok but most of it was charcoal. you can cook a well done steak without turning it to charcoal if you know what you are doing. normally i would not talk much about a baked potato but i will give kudos to them for serving fresh baked potatoes they were not yesterdays and they were not microwaved like most restaurants are doing these days. so that was good. She charged me a dollar for bacon without telling me. that made me angry because it was only a few crumbles. they did have a lady playing the piano and that was nice. she mostly played christmas songs but it was still very enjoyable. i usually dont like entertainment at most places but this one worth mentioning. I would go back but i would not have the same server. and i would let them know not to charcoal my steak.
