I came with my family. The service was very good. They were very accommodating to my kids. My sister and her husband ordered the mussels for an appetizer. It was delicious. Most of us ordered steaks- prime ribs, kc strip, and filets. We were all very happy with the flavor, temperature & tenderness of the steaks. Even the salads were fresh and delicious- no crummy iceberg. My sister ordered fried shrimp and loved it. We were entertained by piano playing as well. Good dining experience!

Very good. We both had rib eye, came with choice of potato, mixed veggies. Cooked perfect, wait staff pleasant. Everyone helped with our service, taking orders serving, water refills and clean up. If we are back in Branson, we will return here. The restaurant likes children. That was apparent. Short dessert menu oh well.

We took the family to this little Branson Jewel expecting to have a great dinner on our last night in Branson before taking in a show. We arrived at about 6:30pm and found the dining room to be relatively empty. This should have been a sign. There was a gentleman singing in rather hushed tones strumming on his guitar providing the live entertainment for the diners. The hostess was pleasant and sat my family quickly, 2 adults, 3 children, one which needs a high chair. The hostess fetched a high chair while a server poured us all waters. The kids were given kid menus with a single crayon each to color. We reviewed the menu and determined what we would order. After about 10 minutes, our waitress finally came to the table to say she would be right with us. Shortly after this, my 4yo child wanted the only blue crayon given which my 2yo had, so she stood on her chair and reached across the table, knocking a full glass of water over. The ice bucket challenge to my lap was quite exhilarating! Of course this isn't the fault of the restaurant, however; several of the wait staff witnessed the accident and saw us using all of our cloth napkins to try and soak up the spill. Yet, none offered to help. The table cloth was drenched and dripping down my legs and onto the floor. As there were only 8 tables seated in the entire restaurant, there was ample tables to which we could have been offered to move to. Yet no one made such an offer to move us. Fortunately for us, we were seated at a 6 top, do I simply moved to the empty seat. All but two of our napkins lay on the spill to try and absorb it. A woman approached the table and handed us a list of songs on the CDs that were available for $10 of the musician which was playing and told us if there were any songs we would like to hear on the play list he would play them for us. She would return later after we had a chance to look it over and write down the songs we chose - no charge of course. Our waitress finally came to the table to take our order after we had been seated for nearly 25 minutes. We ordered a 8oz Ribeye, 8oz Fillet, 10oz Prime Rib, two kids meals - cheeseburger and chicken fingers. Our salads actually arrived fairly quickly. The salad consisted of lettuce, red onion, a black olive, a cherry tomato, a slice of carrot, a slice of cucumber with the salad dressing of your choice on the side in a dressing cup. About half way through the salad, another server brought us a basket of rolls. My oldest daughter had ordered a lemonade and still had not received it so we asked the hostess as she walked by. She went to get it and returned to tell us they were out. A coke was chosen instead and she promptly returned with one. Our server then brought side cups of the butter, sour cream, and ketchup condiments for our orders which were not yet ready. The musician was done for the night and packed up to leave, so we sent the girls over to tip his jar 2 $5 bills as he has played 2 of the three songs we had chosen. The restaurant became eerily quiet without the music. Finally...Our entrees arrived. The Fillet was "OK", more medium well vs the medium rare which was ordered and nothing to write home about as it was likely a choice cut vs a prime cut although it was $30+. The Ribeye also appeared to be choice cut vs prime, but was flavorful and was more medium than the medium rare which was ordered. The Prime Rib was good, but was more medium vs the medium rare that was ordered. The chicken fingers were not very good at all and the fries were soggy and tasted as if they had been reheated. The baked potatoes were good, although the bacon bits which were ordered for one were never provided. We observed a couple with a small child was seated and then ignored for easily 20 minutes. They simply left. Our server did check on us once and when she asked how things were, my wife gave a very disparaging "OK", with a look of "Not really OK". The waitress simply said ok and went on about her business. Note, there were never more than 8 tables in the restaurant yet the service was horribly slow. We heard one server say to the other, "I can't believe how busy it is tonight." Wow, the people were in the weeds with just 8 tables. Our total bill was $101.XX. I normally tip 20%. I couldn't bring myself to tip more than 10%. Maybe Thursdays are just a bad night, or maybe this is normal, I can't tell since this is our only experience here. Either way, I wouldn't chance trying this place again with so many other choices available.

The food was way over priced. I did not care for the food either. I would not recommend you waste your time or money here.

Great service, good romantic type atmosphere, wonderful food, and nice staff. Some food is pricy but cooked to perfection.

Lots of good restaurants to choose from in Branson, but my and my wife's favorite is Buckingham's Restaurant & Oasis. The restaurant is hard to find even when you have the address. The restaurant is located in the Clarion Hotel on W 76 Country Blvd. Look for the Grand Plaza building just past Wildwood Dr and the Clarion is next door. We had to call the restaurant to ask for directions. "Julio" a bus boy at the restaurant answered the phone and gave us directions. When we finally arrived in the parking lot, Julio was waiting for us with a big smile on his face and a very warm, enthusiastic out-going personality. Made my wife and I feel like we were long awaited family members coming to his house for dinner. The restaurant is on the 5th floor. The food, the ambiance, the service, and cleanliness was the best we have experienced after a week stay in Branson. Our party had prime rib, tilapia, pork shank, and apricot glazed chicken. I believe my tilapia was the best I have ever eaten and the other members of our party felt the same about their order. Far and away our favorite restaurant. Prices are reasonable for the upscale environment. Fox example, my tilapia dinner was $15.00.

In reference to the comparison to Landrys', we will give it another try due to the fact that the GM contacted me and is a VERY NICE LADY! I read the other reviews on the place and the problem lies with the server. Anyone can make a hiring mistake. I'm all about second chances.
