When I am unfortunate to have to visit my brother who lives in this general area, at least once while I'm there with my mother, my mother and I eat here before we are fortunate enough to leave after visiting my brother. He refers to this particular Waffle House as "The Awful House," and I really don't understand why. We have never gotten bad food or bad service while here, and the food is never greasy like it can be at some other local establishments. We have eaten at different Waffle House restaurants throughout the country on our travels, and this one is just as good as all the other places; it's not awful. It's not bad at all.

It's a Waffle House right off the highway. Go sit at the counter at 2 am and listen to the waitress call you "hon" & argue with the cook. He will eventually get up from the booth he has commandeered, fire up the grill, and will cook you a mess of whatever greasy breakfast food you ordered. What else ya gonna do at that hour? The grits were actually pretty good, BTW.

My friends and I always come here late at night after concerts. The waitresses are always super sweet and my coffee cup never goes empty. Sure it's a Waffle House, sometimes the characters you run into there late at night are a little sketchy, but the food is awesome and that's what keeps us coming back. The All-Star breakfast is a really great deal for the price and the chocolate chip waffles are great.

If you like your eggs over easy with a runny yoke. If you like your eggs with fried, crispy edges, or maybe you want your bacon extra crispy with raisin toast. Hash browns smothered, covered, and peppered like me! Have it your way... In a matter of minutes, large portions, priced affordably, cooked to your exacting standards. All served with a smile, if you are lucky enough to get Rae! Every one there has an assigned task and watching them cook is like watching a well choreographed dance routine. They make it look easy, but it is not. I have had numerous horrible diner breakfasts through the years. There's nothing fancy here. You won't get Brioche French toast or a Crab Benedict, but you will get a great value and truly hearty breakfast.

Not the best Waffle House I've been to. We had 4 people to our group, there was 1 2-person booth available so we decided to wait for a larger booth. We were not created upon entering the establishment instead we were just looked at. One waitress asked us very rudely if we wanted a table cleaned, we politely said yes. About 5 minutes later she cleaned off a table and said rudely again "now you can sit" The food was not that great. We were given half of our food at one time and then 15 minutes later recieved the rest of our food. The coffee was cold, the creamer we were given was curdled. My sons waffle was soggy, the bacon was burnt. Hopefully other people who go here receive better service and food.
