What happened Bread Company? You used to be so good. Repeatedly I have had bad experiences here. More often than not my coffee has grounds in the cup. I bought a bakers dozen of Asiago bagels. They were handed to me not in a closed box but instead a flimsy paper bag that didn't have room to even roll the top closed. A short stop & half ended up in the floor board of my car. But that's okay because none of them had a bare sprinkling of cheese. Remember when there was a patch of cheese in the middle? No napkins in the bag either. Oh & asked for two plastic bags. Silly me didn't ask for the twist ties to close them. I miss the old Bread Company

I love this place for a quick, easy, and non-greasy meal. They offer a variety of bagels, breakfast pastries, and baked goods, though I'm normally here for lunch or dinner. I think everyone has their faves off the menu here. I enjoy the fuji apple chicken salad, which is loaded with goodies such as chicken breast, gorgonzola cheese, dried apple chips, tomato, and pecans. The dressing used on this particular salad is an apple vinaigrette and it's tangy apple-rific! My go-to sandwich is the warm tomato mozzarella panini. It's a hit for caprese lovers like me. I also enjoy the creamy tomato soup topped with asiago croutons. I usually order the "You Pick Two" with some sort of combo of the above mentioned menu items. A side note about the Pick Two: the price can be a bit misleading, as certain items on the menu increase the base price listed. I've tried switching it up a few times, and must have ordered the diamond encrusted sandwich bread with the gold plated lettuce leaves because the price was insane for my basic meal. I could've eaten at Tony's instead and saved a few bucks. This particular location is on the newer side, and I've never had any issues with the cleanliness, messy tables, or mixed up orders mentioned in some of the other reviews. No problems for this girl... I'll definitely keep this place in my lunch and dinner rotation.

In a service based industry one has come to expect that to be the greatest asset of a business and the most important cog in this consumer driven machine; that is not the case at this Saint Louis Bread Co. With blatantly rude staff members manning their stations with some sort of narcissistic power-hungry rule, the entire experience was ruined. To explain what took place, my girlfriend ordered a bagel and I and breakfast sandwich. 10 minutes later, my sandwich is done and she still had not received a simple sliced bagel with spread. After paying, the Manager (Michael), whom was running the register, proceeded to walk away and could be heard saying, "someone's going to have to get her her bagel" while he goes and chit chats with other employees. After not receiving said item, and upon further inquiry, my girlfriend had to ask 3 different employees in order to receive her forgotten purchase. After finally getting her item, the worker stated, "is that all?" when she received the reply of "yes" she simply stated "good." No longer will I visit this location and neither should you.

My wife and kids love coming to the bread co., and this location used to be our favorite. It started at the drive thru, where we asked to substitute one baguette instead of chips. Standard, right? Except they replaced ALL of them. No big deal, mistakes happen. We drive off, had to turn around because they forgot to put our Demi loaf in the bag. Granted, they offered me a free pastry for my trouble, but I politely declined. After all, accidents happen. We get home and that's where the trouble begins. Our Greek salad has chicken in it. One big chunk. I asked for no onions on all of our sandwiches. Repeated it three times. Saw it on the screen and on my receipt. So the fact there was an onion garden growing out of our sandwiches tells you that they either ignored or didn't care. Either way, it was an epic fail and left a (literally) bad taste in my mouth.

I was a bit hesitant coming here for dinner since I figured that there wasn't anything I could eat here. But my parents wanted to go to this place. Man was I wrong about this place. Other than the great delish teas that they offer. They make a decent chicken noodle soup (a bit tooo salty). The smoked turkey on country was okay. The turkey was insanely salty. Sooo salty that after one bite, I had to stop eating the sandwich. I took it home so I could "desalt" it. Homey feel like the other locations.

Just your typical panera bread, but I was confused by the name. Perhaps they bought out a chain of some sort? Either way, certainly better than the breakfast offered by the drury inn.

St. Louis Bread company used to be the pinnacle of sit down restaurants. Their breakfast totally ruled. I loved their oatmeal, souffles, breads and a variety of different dessert options, with different beverage choices. However, this visit did not go over so well. When I walked into the establishment, I waited in line for a while and the lady in front of me was complaining about her visit and the high prices. That was one hell of a red flag. I ordered a small order of their advertised cheese tortellini, an apple and a large drink. Instead, she served me a medium drink, a small order of cheese tortellini and an order of bread. I never ordered bread, I wanted the apple. This happens almost every time and on every visit that I come in. They serve me the bread instead of the apple. It gets very irritating after a while. The price shocked me as well: well over $10 for the meal. I could have drove a few miles more, went to noodles & company and paid half that price for their Wisconsin mac & cheese. The dining room area was also in complete disarray and probably the worst I have seen next to a poorly managed McDonald's. There were hardly any clean tables and the floors were hardly swept. In addition, that place was bitter cold. It seemed that they had the A/C on instead of blowing out hot air, and it was around 50 degrees outside. Now about the product: it was...meh...ok. They had way too much garlic in the tortallini and the pasta tasted rubbery, not like the high quality of product that was supposed to be advertised. Will I come back? I doubt it. I am not Mr. Freeze and I do not see how the high prices justify how they are cutting back on quality.

I very often drive a few miles further to Arnold just for the Drive Thru! It makes everything convenient of course. I love it! I went inside today for the first time to dine in and it was delicious as always, I get the Bacon Turkey Bravo and the Greek salad was totally amazing by the way. This place sure draws a crowd during lunch time. You may or may not find seating.

DRIVE THRU!! I love Panera Breads - but when they do it Drive Thru Style - yes please! They are always polite at this location also. Otherwise it is just like any other Panera Chain... Again with a drive through :)
