If you love sesame chicken, get it here. It's magical. If you like spicy, let them know -- this is Minnesota, so I think they hold back a little bit unless you reassure them. A bit overpriced compared to other places, and they give slightly smaller portions then most. I often feel that they skimp on the white rice, but I prefer a large rice/food ratio (about half and half). I've never had a great experience dining in -- this place is busy, and I've seen a lot of rude/racist customers, so I have a lot of sympathy for the servers. I suggest calling ahead for takeout and expecting to wait a bit unless it's an odd time of day. But none of that really matters. I've never had anything that wasn't spectacular -- because I've never had anything other than sesame chicken.

Easily my favorite Chinese place in the East Metro. The food is always great and well portioned. Service is good. My favorite is the Kung Poa chicken. It's certainly more elaborate than most others I've had. Great place!

We love Yang's!! Historically the best Chinese in the city of Woodbury. We order regularly and for company and you cannot go wrong no matter what you order!! I've never had anything I didn't like. 4 stars only because they do not deliver.....

They are voted best Asian restaurant in town for a reason. Sesame chicken is excellent, lo mein is too. It's thin noodles. You won't be disappointed.

We dined in a couple of days ago. I ordered BBQ short ribs that came with broccoli. The short ribs were good, but the broccoli was cold. My wife ordered sweet and sour pork with fried rice and wanton soup. The soup was good and so was the fried rice, but the sweet and sour pork was like rubber. My wife informed the server and she got a small cup of sweet and sour chicken which was better. It seemed like it was effort to correct are orders and we will not be back. Very disappointed.

My favorite Chinese food restaurant in the twin cities. The sesame chicken is like no other I've ever had. Best flavor, little crisp to the chicken which is a nice change. Nice staff and speedy service.

Good portions for what you pay for. Fried rice is my favorite here, not too greasy and packed with flavor. Other than that, nothing incredibly distinguishing about this asian restaurant from any other asian restaurants. I find it odd they are closed on Sundays especially with the surrounding surplus of churches.

Great food for the area. Traditional American Chinese dishes, but always busy. My only con about this place is they charge extra to put the sauce on the side for takeout. Other local Chinese restaurants will gladly do it so your dish isn't soggy by the time you get home.

It's Americanized-Chinese food. Basically, Chinese people wouldn't go eat here because it's not authentic Chinese. No offense, but it caters to the demographics around this area, cauasians in the suburb area. My family and I made a random stop here for Mother's Day. Never been here before. We ordered $100+ worth of food and we found no dishes to taste good at all. The way I can tell a good Chinese place is by how they cook their fried rice. Yang's fried rice was horrible. It's white rice with some specs of egg extract with some salt and soy sauce sprinkled over it. Just a terrible dish made horribly wrong. Mei Mei Restaurant down the street off Lower Afton and McKnight is way more authentic. The owner and staff are pretty nice at Yang's, don't get me wrong, but the food was just not authentic at all. If you like watered down taste and high school kids cooking your beef and broccoli, and sesame chicken, then come to Yang's. If you want great authentic Chinese/Asian/Mongolia food, best place in St. Paul is definitely Peking Garden over in the Midway strip mall there along University Avenue...the area there is sort of ghetto but this is where some of the best authentic Mongolian, Korean (more along Snelling Avenue), Hmong, Thai, and Chinese food are located. Most authentic and reasonably priced in Saint Paul.

Best Chinese in the metro area, hands down. I grew up with Yang's. Their takeout is so dank. It's everything you would expect and need in a takeout Chinese place (they also offer dining in, which is just as good). Everyone talks about their sesame chicken. SO good. I get it at a 3 (on a scale of 1-5) and it's got a kick to it but not too spicy. This is not Panda Express sesame chicken, this is the real deal, man. This is what they're "known for". I know kids who come home from college and the first thing they do is go to Yang's for their sesame chicken. Their wonton soup is a go-to starter, especially when you get the crispy chow mein noodles to put in there (secret insider tip, there). Egg rolls are good, except my mom always says they're only good in the restaurant, not as takeout. Whatever, more for me. Cream cheese wontons are what you expect them to be. Fried rice is pretty average but the lo mein is spectacular. Always the first to be done, leftover wise, in my house as a kid. Yeah, Chinese food is an MSG overload party, but that's okay once in a while, right? Yang's is basically a Woodbury dining institution, and they definitely don't have very many of those.

Everything on the menu is great. I always get the vegetable fried rice and sesame chicken. It always super yummy! I haven't had something that isn't delicious!

I was excited because of all the awards and how many people gave it great reviews. But after several visits, I realized it's mainly a certain demographic (not of color) who are in love with it. It's fine if you're craving an American version of Chinese food, but don't come here expecting the best Chinese food you've ever had. That's why I gave it 3 stars, because sometimes, you want some real American food, like this.

It's the third time we've had some take out from here and we still can't find anything we like. We've eaten a lot of Chinese food before and to be honest we would even prefer Panda Express over Yang's. Food is bland and greasy with little variety (for take out at least) we will have to still keep looking for a better Chinese in Woodbury. Staff seem nice and generally a good natured bunch. The place itself could do with a renovation, ok for a quick night out but not for anything special.

They literally have THE BEST SESAME CHICKEN!! I eat there almost 3x a month. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. When I eat at the actually restaurant I get the combo spicy 0 and also get the really good wanton soup. I totally recommend this restaurant 100%

If I could eat here every day without dying of a heart attack I totally would. This place is, without hesitation, amazing. I'm pretty sure their food is laced with some sort of crack (LSD, whatever your pleasure) because I leave feeling satisfied and I get the shakes if I've gone too long without it.

The Sesame Chicken is amazing. Large portions, good prices, fast service.

Don't order fried dumplings or steamed either they have way too much dough. Entrees are good. However I prefer spicy and three did not cut it... Go higher.

I can see how American customer finds it difficult to accurately rate good Chinese food that's not from an Americanese menu. I think their food is quite good, paired with excellent atmosphere for a relatively small place. Prices are mid-range reasonable, considering you eat excellent food.

  • J T.

Holy tasty! The Beef royal was ROYALLY TASTY! Thank you Yangs for the great food tonight and actually putting some heat/spice in as requested! The Chicken Curry was full of flavor and hard to stop eating. The Beef Royal was full of crunchy veggies, lots of beef and the sauce was excellent. Egg rolls that were not "mini" like you find at some places and the Hot and Sour soup was scrumptious!

I love Yang's, so much so, after a week on the East Coast eating my childhood memories of awesome Chinese food, I was looking forward to Yang's. They may not have what I want from East Coast Chinese, but they have my version of Minnesota Chinese food, and I can work with this. I am a huge fan of the Sesame Chicken (Spicy level 3), they have great wonton soup, and amazing egg rolls. The fried rice can be hit or miss, sometimes perfect, sometimes too much onion, sometimes not so awesome. However, all in all this is a great take out option, as long as I remember to order before 8:40 and do not get a craving on Sunday.

My group ventured out for Monday Night tacos at Acapulco's, only to find a horrendous wait time. We came here instead, and the food was delicious and affordable, with excellent service to boot. Just what you expect on the menu for delicious Chinese.

So much love for Yangs here on Yelp! I don't love it, but The Man does. Of course, he'd be entirely happy to eat nothing but Asian food every day for the rest of his freaking life, if he didn't have to worry about me complaining every day for the rest of his freaking life. Anyhow, enough about my marriage troubles. The food is pretty good. The fried rice is really flavorful, the lo mein is a little on the drier side (which I actually prefer) and the chicken dishes are the best. The Sesame chicken is #1, just get it. They let you customize the spice level from 1-5. To me, levels 1-3 taste identical, level 4 is where the spice starts. Level 5 is too much for this white girl. The lemon chicken is also good. That's my number 2 choice on those occasions when I forget how good the Sesame chicken is. Soups are yummy and hot, which is great in the winter. Service? Not so much. Brisk and brusque might be the best words. Orders are taken quickly, but they're not great about answering questions or worrying about a lot of special requests. So get them in right as you are ordering your dish, because the sever will walk away! Also, drink your water slowly; it's not easy to get it refilled. But- they are family owned, and big supporters of the Woodbury community- so I give them props for that. Plus, they're about as close as Woodbury can get to an institution. So they're doing it right.

Food is terrible. The old chinnese lady has no customer service skills. Don't ask for e z Tra sauce because they charge. Go to Ducs off off tamarack behind holiday. Great service and better food:)

  • Meg L.

The sub gum lo mein is my favorite besides the sesame chicken. It's nice you can pick how spicy or not you'd like your food. It's family owned which I think is something the Twin cities needs more of. Take outs a breeze just call a head!

    (4)
  • Kyle L.

Their sesame chicken is amazing. i get it every single time I got there. I've tried at least 20 other chinese restaurants around here and none compare to Yang's!

    (5)
  • Justina S.

Disappointed. Seemed nothing had any flavor. And the lo mein looked like angel hair pasta with brown water in it. The inly reaskn they get 2 stars is the service waa food n everyone was polite.

  • Jane M.

I've tried Yang's a couple of times and each time it's been greasy and bland. The service isn't very friendly either. I don't understand why people like the place

ZOMG. Best Chinese food in the Twin Cities. For reals, yo. My boyfriend insisted that we have Yang's for dinner last week. He's a Chinese food connoisseur, so when he told me they were the best, I had to trust him. So, SO glad that I did. Everything you order is scaled according to how spicy you like your food. Everything is made fresh to order. And everything (especially the sesame chicken) is just delish. Being a gal that loves a little Chinese take out from time to time (read: once a week), I'm so glad that we have this gem just up the road!

I rolled up, walked in and placed my order for my never-changing Sesame Chicken. The price was about $10 or so, which was average for my dish. I was asked how spicy I wanted my meal, and I inquired as to the ratings. I was informed that the '5, top listing, was pretty spicy, so I figured I'd give that a shot. While waiting for my food, I scouted the place and noticed about 20 or so tables and booths, filled with an array of patrons from high school giggly girls, to families and a few couples eating as well. The decor is what you'd expect from a strip mall take out joint, dim, but not darkly lit, semi aged seating with a more traditional asian appeal to it. Nothing retro or trendy, just pretty stereotypical. Certainly good enough to eat in. It looks like there has been some recent updates to the appearance inside since my last visit. I grabbed my supper and headed home, it was smelling up my truck by the time I got home and was anxious to dig in. I opened my bag and found two containers, one pint container, packed to the gills with my sesame chicken, and a rather small container with rice. I was expecting a small amount of rice from this little box, NO. It was overflowing, expanding like a sponge animal that just got doused in the bathtub! I now had a plate full of food that looked great, and smelled better. The chicken itself wasn't drenched in sauce, super battered or otherwise tainted by something nasty. It has a light breading on it, with a little sauce caked on, nothing too heavy. There were some sesame seeds scattered about of course, and some little peppering flakes, I assume they were. I bit into the chicken before I even sat down, because it just looked so darn good, and it was. It was crispy, but not KFC styles by any means, the chicken was juicy and tender, and it had a good amount of spice to it. Not enough to make me pucker up, or reach for the water in pain, but just enough to know it's there and give it a little kick. I continued thru the meal, the spice didn't build up on me and make me quit eating, but was a constant "HI, I'M HERE AND KINDA SPICY" feeling. The rice was pretty tasty too, good and sticky, and filling enough that I didn't need any more than what came with the meal. ince I was eating at home, I had the TV on, and was shoveling food in my mouth until I realized I'd eaten almost the entire plate full of tasty goodness. I decided not to be a total pig and left a bit on the plate, and bit into the fortune cookie. Now, a fortune cookie isn't anything special, and they're all trucked in in cardboard boxes, but these, were thick, crunchy and GOOD. It even had a good fortune in it! If you're in the area, or driving past, stop at Yang's and see what you think. The menu seemed to be pretty varied and had a number of things to choose from if you care to venture outside of my comfort zone. I've both, ordered take out, and eaten in, and had good experiences on each of my visits.

Sesame Chicken!!!! Never had anything out of here that wasn't great. The sesame chicken is truly worthy of its own monument of some sort.

Lunch at 12:30 on a Thursday. Service was reasonably quick and friendly. The Szechuan Tofu (bean curd) was very good. I was glad to be asked the spice level (5, which is the "hottest"). There was a great variety of veggies and they were properly cooked. The brown sauce was tasty and not too oily. I thought the portion sizes were on the small side for the price, but overall the meal was very good!

My colleague Jeff suggested this place to me and believe me he said it's the best Chinese restaurant he's been to! No, not even close.. Group of 5 colleagues and I went last Fri and ordered a bunch of different entrees - Sesame Chicken, Garlic Chicken, Grand Chicken, Kung Pao Shrimp etc. They came with Hot N Sour soup which was good but apart from the Sesame Chicken (which was sweet even for a 4/5 Spicy preference at time of order!) all other entrees were bland and slightly uncooked. I guess it's time Jeff should try other Chinese restaurants like Tea House to re-rate his "best Chinese restaurant" ranking!

Food is tasty and warm but the manager is cold as ice! If it were not for the manager I would give this place 5 stars, I'm sorry but when I spend my hard earned dollars at Yangs I expect it to be appreciated, rather this one person in particular makes you feel as if you are a burden. I'll pass!! In all fairness, the other employees are great!.... Only takes one bad apple... Well you know the rest! Update: 12/23/13 Been giving Yangs more business lately, Their food is just too damn good to ignore, despite the broom Hilda of a manager.

The bland Seafood Delight and cloyingly sweet sesame chicken inspire only two stars. The Seafood Delight is supposed to come with "Chinese vegetables", but I don't recall see any broccoli, carrots, corn, canned bamboo shoots or canned water chestnuts when I was in China. The bland and tasteless sauce had no positive features. I had a taste of my husband's sesame chicken, and it was sweet enough to be a dessert. In fact that was the entire taste palette of the dish - sweet. Based on my experience I'm suspecting this is a place where if it's not sweet or spicy, it's tasteless. Despite several empty booths, we had to stand around waiting for quite a while while they discussed seating options with a large family - and discussed, and discussed and discussed... Once we sat down service was fine, though nothing outstanding. As we ate, the place filled up and a long line formed. I may give them a second chance, but what I ate last time doesn't warrant waiting in a line longer than 30 seconds

Try the Kung Pao Shrimp, You will not be disappointed. I ordered it on there spiciness scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the spiciest and 5 is what I ordered it at and it wasn't that spicy so if your a spicy food person fanatic you might still want to add some sriracha or other hot sauce to it, otherwise great meal. I found a gem in Woodbury hidden with all of the nearby chain restaurants. This is the 1st chinese place I have tried in Woodbury that isnt Leanne chin and I still have yet to try Pei Wei or Asian Bistro but those 2 places would have to be very good to beat this place for flavor, definetly giving them a run for their money. So far this is my favorite chinese restaurant in Woodbury.

  • Karin M.

Very busy carry-out business. They have a huge bowl of chicken soup that is to die for. Perfect for a cold Minnesota day. If you add some of their chili sauce, it is similar to a Pho. I prefer their skinny egg rolls over their regular ones.

  • Dee T.

I really don't get the hype. It's a typical fast-food ordering-type Chinese restaurant complete with a menu board and pictures of Americanized dishes. The sesame chicken is FINE. Nothing lyrical about it, just fine. I must be fortunate to have not gotten too many items drowned in soy sauce, but what I have ordered is pretty greasy - in the good-but-just-this-close-to-being-yucky way. Don't get me wrong...since I work out in these parts, I'll likely be back. And the sesame chicken is FINE.

We went to Yang's for lunch. The place was fairly full. I ordered my standard sweet and sour chicken - a safe bet when you've never eaten at a particular Chinese joint before...it came with rice and an egg roll, and a soup starter. I typically judge the restaurant by the yumminess of the Hot & Sour soup. I was not overly impressed with the soup - just like I wasn't overly impressed with the restaurant. I thought the food was good, in fact, if I was craving Chinese again, I would probably pick Yang's as the place I chose to go, but mostly because it's fast and reasonably priced. I thought that the prices were fair - the portions were plentiful - and the service was good. I would go back to Yang's.

With all of these thumbs up reviews about the sesame chicken, I had to try it. P.S. I have never had sesame chicken before, Yang's Sesame Chicken lunch box knocked my socks off. In fact, I haven't eaten meat for the last three years and this was a great reintroduction. My GF had the Veggie Egg Foo Young and her socks were totally knocked off as well. She hadn't been able to find Egg Foo Young that she really liked outside of Kinhdo in Minneapolis, but Yang's won her heart over. I haven't really been able to find a Chinese restaurant in the 651/612 area that I really like, but what a jem we found tucked away in the WB. We will totally be going back. I didn't love the fried rice, but the rest was amazing.

Excellent food. Other than a restaurant down south in Lakeville MN this place rocks. Great food and the staff is willing to suggest delicious entries. Big portions and the food fills you up. I walk out feeling like I got my moneys worth. For a sit down Asian diner this is the place. Not a buffet so don't come thinking they have one as I first did. After the initial disappointment of not seeing a buffet the food made up for that. Great food. Tasty and always hot.

  • Dima M.

Not bad, especially for a suburban restaurant. Actually, it feels pretty authentic there. The food was quite delicious, and when I requested to have it prepared super spicy, they didn't disappoint. They have some pretty good lunch specials, for a very reasonable price, and a good amount that's quite filling. I usually can't even finish it. My one complaint is that once I went there, and my fortune cookie had three fortunes (luckily not conflicting), but my friend got a cookie with no fortune. We refer to it as the cookie of death. Other than that, my experience there has always been very good. Delicious food and good service. What else can you ask for?

Ordered the kung pao chicken. Quite literally the worst Chinese meal I have ever eaten. It was made so completely full of green onion stems that it was completely inedible. It was chicken and green onion stems and nothing else.

Called in a takeout order on a Saturday night. The place was packed with people. I had to wait in line for 15 minutes just to pay for my order. The Veggie Egg Foo Young was excellent. I ordered the Szechuan Chicken with a spice level 3 and it was so mild my 1 year old could eat it. Beef with Broccoli was also mild. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Loaded with fresh vegetables. Nothing was too salty. Next time I will ask them to amp up the spice a bit!

  • Alison T.

The sesame chicken is awesome indeed. The batter and sauce are loaded with sugar, so it tastes like chicken for dessert, which is definitely OK by me. Other entrees from Yang's taste like standard Chinese fare. This place does the trick for take-out on a Friday night.

  • Nikki B.

I don't live in Woodbury but my husband and I were in teh area and when I saw all the rave reviews we decided to stop by and check it out. I wouldn't say this is the best chinese food in the Twin Cities. Food was average. I didn't get the sesame chicken that people were talking about in most of the reviews. I ordered Beef Schzwan and my hubby ordered Kung Pao Chicken. Both were ok nothing special. I will say that I liked the fact you could order your food by scaled hotness from 1 to 5 level, which is a good thing if you are with a group and everyone had different tastes.

OMFG, I am still licking the greasy soy sauce off my fingers and just about to fall into a food coma. I stopped in on a whim, actually I was at the MGM buying wine and realized that I was in no way interested in making dinner for the fam tonight. I went in at 3:55 (I know, right? Dinner at not even 4pm? Ever since the sun disappeared for winter everyone wants to eat at 4.) So at 3:55 there was already a line of people waiting for take away! There were 4 people in front of me and it still only took 10 min to get my food; awesome! My fave thing was the fried crispy egg roll, wow, they are huge and delish. Veggie LoMein and fried rice was wonderful with plentiful veggies. Beef and broccoli was good too. Not as impressed with the fried dumplings, but I think that's actually due to them being eaten as take away and the wrapper got a little soggy. Now I am in desperate need of something chocolatey for dessert! Until next time Yang's, for I'm sure that me and my newly emerging thunder thighs will be back soon...

I've been eating at Yang's for close to 20 years (remember their location in St. Paul near the Suburban Ave. Target?) and it remains as good today as it was back in the day. I love the seseme chicken and find it hard to order anything else when I'm there - but everything I've had is very good and I will continue to eat there when I'm hungry and in the neighborhood.

Best Chinese food in the Twin Cities. Pretty much won't eat Chinese anywhere else.

Pretty darn good food. I've only done takeout there, but it is the best place in woodbury for Chinese takeout. High school kids have Yang's do the catering (big take out order) for grad parties... kids all flock to those parties. What does that tell you? Everyone loves their food. Their sesame chicken is wonderful and you can ask for different spicy levels to make it as hot as you want. Personally I like the spice level III. :-)

Independent Chinese place in Woodbury that is ALWAYS packed. Prep and pickup times are pretty speedy. The food is good, but very generic Asian half-fast-food. Excellent when you're craving some noodles and MSG :]

Hands down - The Best Sesame Chicken I've had ANYWHERE! (And I get around!) Together with some BBQ pork fried rice, soup and some cream cheese wontons and you got yourself a meal. I eat here every time I'm back home. I can remember when they were the only Chinese restaurant in Woodbury - In my opinion, they are still the best!

  • matt k.

Totally disagree with Tammy and Tom, well, maybe the lo mein had a little too much soy on it - eh. As someone that has frequented a lot of Chinese restaurants from here to California (my favorite is in Campbell, Ca) Yang's is one of the state's best. Forget the fastfood Chinese restaurants like Leann Chin, etc., and go to Yang's. Their fried rice, lo main, and sesame chicken is AWESOME. Yes, I like my sesame chicken but that's only because I can't find a good Chinese restaurant that offers a great PEKING chicken or for that matter, offers it at all. Yang's really is good. Just had them 2 weeks ago, and wasn't disappointed! Highly recommended!

  • jordan o.

Yang's is the only Chinese Restaurant that I will go to in Woodbury. I like the sesame chicken, cashew chicken, and the mooshoo chicken is also very tasty. Portions are huge. There is always lines going out the door for there takeout.

  • Dan S.

One of my favorite places to eat. Good lunch deal. Service is average, but the food can make up for it. Sesame Chicken is amazing, but I would also recommend the beef and pea pods.

    (4)
  • Adam B.

By far the best Chinese I've had since moving here. Much better than Leann Chin and you get so much more for you money! I'll just echo what's already been said about the sesame chicken because we have to get it everytime! My favorite is the moo shu chicken though and there's always enough for at least 2 more meals when we order both the moo shu and seasame. The only problem I have is that they don't have Crab Rangoo. They have fried cheese wontons which are just cream cheese wrapped up and deep fried...there's way too much wonton and not nearly enough flavor for me. All-in-all a great restaurant, especially for Woodbury.

  • Tammy Y.

I'd heard great things about Yang's and as a great lover of Chinese food was really excited to try it out. I was pretty disappointed. While the food tastes fine, everything is absolutely drowned in soy sauce from the fried rice to the main dishes, including the sesame chicken. We've gone back a few times and I've tried other things, but it's been the same experience every time. No matter what I order it looks like half the bottle of soy sauce ended up in my dish.

    (2)
  • Tom M.

I agree with Tammy - The portions were nice, service was good, and the chicken I had was good too, but it seems that they are trying to please the American palate, and that is a big mistake. They should stick to traditional Chinese. Steamed rice - not soy-drenched fried rice. Hot seared meat - not fried. Chopsticks? Vegetables? (OK - I guess I'm spoiled by California Chinese).

    (3)
  • Brian S.

Ordered the BBQ Pork with tofu and Grand Chicken for dinner. Both portions were large, but low on flavor. The veggies were crisp and the meat was ok. Tea was good and hot. Service was fast.

  • Chris M.

Yes, Yang's menu is pretty much a who's who of Americanized Chinese food. And truth be told, sometimes that's all you want (though I have yet to comprehend the Minnesotan obsession with the brown gravy/celery soup that gets called Chow Mein in these parts, but I digress). At times, Yang's delivers on these staples. I have had reasonably fine sesame chicken, Kung Pao chicken, etc. I've also had pretty lousy renditions of some of the same dishes from the same kitchen, and that's apparently where Yang's falters - consistency. At times, egg rolls and fried rice have been nothing but a synonym for salt, other times they've been fine. Also, while I always order everything as spicy as possible, I have brought home takeout that would be safe for even the most timid palate. All-in-all, Yang's prices are reasonable, service is friendly enough and take-out is fast, just keep in mind all the awards touting 'Best of' this and ''Best of' that on their walls are probably due in part to the lack of competition in the Woodbury area.

I love Yangs! I almost always get the sesame chicken but everything I've tried is pretty tasty. I kinda wish the fried rice packed more of a punch and the soup is meh. But still they know how to provide savory dishes cooked to perfection. It's kinda old in the restaurant but cozy and the service is always good!

I was excited for Yang's. Four stars on here and twenty minutes closer to my house than my favorite Chinese place. Unfortunately, Yang's failed to deliver in many areas. The takeout containers were covered in sauce and leaked more sauce all over our table. With all of that sauce, I figured that the food would have lots of flavor, but everything was bland and lacked any real zing. Finally, the food was much more expensive than other places...something I would have been ok with had the dishes been of a better quality.

The food is fantastic. I have them on my speed dial and when ever I'm in the area, I'll make a call for pick up. Love their Sesame Chicken, Egg Rolls, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, etc,..... I moved 20 miles away and still make the trip just for their food!

Embarrassing place with the lowest food quality. If there is 0 star, I will go for that...not going there ever again.

Overall, this is our favorite Chinese place in the Woodbury area. The vegetables are always fresh, crisp, and cooked just right. Meals are very flavorful and the prices are very reasonable. My only other comment would be that the fried rice is rather bland.

Decent Chinese food for non-Chinese American. The quality is constant. I am bias because I have a high standard for Chinese food.

Food is good but being closed on Sunday is stupid.

It was normal chinese food to expect, not outstanding but tasted good and prepared well. Service was okay. I thought I ordered a main dish with egg roll and fried rice but then just got the main dish with white rice. I guess it was my err but I'm still confused on that and hope I didn't get charged for the egg roll and fried rice- the receipt wasn't in English. I probably won't be back, just too many options in the area.

Took my Dad here for dinner last night. We both enjoyed our meals tremendously. The salt/pepper shrimp is the best I've had.

Yangs is really hit or miss. I love Chinese food & it would be nice if it was more consistent. 50% of the time it is excellent & 50% of the time horrible. Last night for example it was at its worst, the beef was awful. Restaurant is small. Staff is friendly.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
