Dinner was decent. I had the Wednesday night special, half rack of ribs. The ribs were good and almost falling off the bone. Their 'poker chips', circular fries smothered, were good as well. The only negative was the app was cold and the remake wasn't that much better. The manager took care of us though. He was genuinely caring and took the app off plus another $5. That did make up for it. The staff was great and very helpful. I will be coming back again. A huge plus, they have Angry Orchard on tap!

I visited Wild Bills with a buddy while I was in town from Dallas. This is about as un-Texas as it comes, but I guess since its in Minnesota I can let it slide. I just don't get the naming and marketing convention. This place turns into a dance club at night and I will say it was pretty fun. The bartenders we nice and the crowd lively. If you are looking for a crowd however, you will want to come on Thursday through Saturday otherwise you will be sitting in the lonely hearts club talking to your peanuts pretty much alone. They had some good drink specials as well. Now get some real Texas BBQ and you can justify your name!

Been here many times. Consistent food and drinks. Outdoor patio is one of the best in the Twin Cities.

I was really disappointed in this place today. A group of us met for the Wild game, we where seated in the nice looking bar area. However they only had two servers in a full to capacity bar area. Our server just couldn't keep up at all and we had empty drinks and even a spilled drink sitting on our table. Apparently they have bingo here on Saturday afternoons.....even when the Minnesota Wild are in the playoffs and the bar was full of people wanting to watch the hockey game. Go here for lunch, but go to a real sports bar for a sporting event I guess.

The only reason I'm giving this A star is because our server did try to keep up and it was OBVIOUSLY understaffed at prime dinner time. ( I am a former service trainer for darden restaurant Corp) with a few large parties and way too many tables per section. The sections seemed to be way too spread out to warrant proper service. The food was TERRIBLE! I ordered a steak blue cheese salad. With Cajun beef on it blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes, and blue cheese dressing. My salad came out without any dressing at all. I sat for 10 minutes trying to flag someone down for my dressing. The beef was CAKED in mushy Cajun seasoning and the salad for 10$ was all lettuce hearts and no greens. Ugh. My husband ordered some enchiladas with sausages in it, which was nothing more than A mere Coney Island chili dog with sour cream, and he had ordered a side salad which came out WITH our meal. Not before. Anyone who's running a restaurant front of the house should know that side salads should come out first unless otherwise specified. My 13 year old son who eats anything didn't even like a 3 cheese grilled cheese with bacon on focaccia! How can you do that one wrong? Well folks ? This restaurant did! As for the mixed drinks. My first strawberry margarita on the rocks was pretty good. I ordered another and I watched my server pick it up from the bar and tell the bartender she ordered a strawberry marg not a regular so he dumped a splash of mix in with an attitude and she desperately tried to mix it to the nice pink color it should have been with my straw. The bartender was too busy trying to please his OBVIOUS regulars at the bar. My advice to this establishment is make sure you treat every aspect of hospitality and service as if every guest is visiting for the first time. Including the food, people. I get better food at the hospital I work for! I will never return.

Lots of TVs, beautiful women, good food for the price. The management is friendly and very eager to make sure every experience is a good one. Come for a casual atmosphere on weekdays or to dance and buy cheap beer on Thursday-Saturday nights

The food here is hit or miss. The burgers are the best in town, other meals- not so much. The best thing is their desserts, they have cookie dough egg rolls with ice cream that I can't stop dreaming about.

This place is very casual for dining out or nice for happy hour. The foods and cocktails are pretty good in general. They use to have deep fried ice cream as one of their dessert options last year and it was delicious but they do not serve that anymore when I was there last month. So, I am really disappointed since that is the main reason why I loved going there. They have a big outside patio which is perfect during summer time. It's always crowded every time I am there though. The service is ok but could be better. Overall, it's a nice place to go for happy hour every now and then but not my first choice.

Wild Bills has much to offer the food is excellent bar fare, the staff are friendly and professional. I write this review because of all the horrors I dropped a check I had received from one of my Salesman, unaware that my sales guy had picked it up(he had a dead battery on his phone and a long commute home). In a panic I called the Restaurant and a hostess named Amanda searched high and low throughout the restaurant (Including the trash) for the check, asking every server and bar staff in the place, with of course no luck, when I called back she insisted on searching the parking lot for me asking where I parked. Service and kindness of this level can not be put into words, Thank you so much Amanda. I have eaten at both Wild Bills and Wild Jacks and have always had a good experience, I recommend them to everyone looking to have a good time.

Went here on Thursday for Lipstick & Lace, met up some gfs, stayed a little past midnight..... and probably shouldn't have had all those jalepeno cheese potatoes. Haha. I really like this place. I'd come again for the drink offers and the cheap appetizers! The food is good and the service is prompt. :)

Mediocre at best. Foods OK. Servers are nice, but incompetent they spend more time talking to each other then doing there job. Good happy hour is come back for that not much else.

If you go to see the waitresses in short shorts then I guess this is a great place but if you go for the food then you won;t be happy, their food was not that good and not worth the drive.

Well, being a business owner myself I know the ropes. But the treatment I got here was horrendous. I request a song, the dj said they would play. I went to remind the dj and the dj said they would not play it. Why wouldn't they tell me this in the first place. I then went to the restroom where I had a bouncer looking over my shoulder. I asked if he wanted to hold it. He then called for back up and had me kicked out. This is no place I want to spend my money. Please, don't waste your's!

Wild Bill's... I Think I love You... BUT I WANNA KNOW FOR SURE! Come on chant it with me, WILD BILL'S... Maybe if we do keep chanting, the owner will just appear from out of nowhere with some awesome black spectacles on - yeah probably not though! My wife and I finally had a chance to get to Wild Bill's to see what they had to offer after I was hearing that they had some pretty good food. After looking at the menu, It seemed like just another sports bar with the same old menu items that any other sports bar has to offer. I was intrigued by all the sauce options and decided that I must get some wings to see how they fared against the competition and you can see what I had to say by visiting my wings challenge, which can be found under my lists section - Twin Cities Wing Challeng , lets just say that some improvement is needed! We like to share our meals and this visit was no different as we decided on a couple things following what our server had to recommend. She suggested that we try the chicken tenders and after she described how they were made to us, we went ahead and ordered them up. Prepared with panko flakes instead of the traditional flower or batter mixture and man were these things awesome! These things were like full chicken breasts, not just little tenders you see elsewhere and they had great flavor and moist instead of boring and dry - probably the best chicken tenders I've had. My wife also wanted to try the Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap. While it wasn't terrible, I wish more places would start setting themselves apart from the rest of the field. Try using a homemade ranch dressing, a different flower tortilla instead of the basic, try a different cheese blend or season your chicken differently. Again, I wouldn't say it was terrible, but it's just another chicken wrap! We also substituted the fries for the Poker Chips which are whole sliced potatoes that are deep fried (you may have seen this same concept at Buffalo Wild Wings). I like them, but if you like crinkle cut fries, which I do, feel free to just keep the fries! I mentioned earlier that they had a wide selection of sauces to choose from, in fact they have 16 sauces to choose from and I would recommend sampling the following; Carolina BBQ and Wild Bill's Orange Sauce... Delicious! We also tried the Bourbon Teriyaki and Wild Bill's Buffalo Sauce, but the B.T. was a little lack luster and the Buffalo needed less Red Hot flavoring and more of a unique seasoning added to it as well. While Wild Bill's might not be making everything on their menu groovy, I'm sure if The Troggs were in town, they would stop by and I would go back to try some more food on the menu as well. I definitely will be back for some more chicken tenders, man those were good... Don't forget to check out my take on their wings by visiting my lists section - Twin Cities Wing Challenge.

Food was bad. Service was worse. I've eaten at Wild Bills in another city and it was great. 15 minutes for someone to come over with water. She said she had been cut for the night but would send someone else. 15 more minutes for a second waitress, and it was NOT crowded. Chips were so stale they were inedible. Food was not good. Both of us were ill later in the night. Never saw a waitress again until she brought the bill. Pass on this place.

    (1)
  • Randy J.

Some of the best chicken tenders around. They are "home made" this means they are actual tender loins with their breading. They offer dipping sauce on the side but you should ask them to roll them in the sauce so you get a good covering. Just my preference. Service is better at the bar normally and inconsistent otherwise.

I freakin love this place! $5 burgers for lunch. Very good burgers, especially for the price and that includes fries. My favorite is the Cajun ranch burger with extra sauce. Plus the waitresses are smokin hot! I've been there 50 to 60 times now and me and my buddies all think the burgers were very good. Waitress's have been very friendly and fun. Oh and did I mention they're all hot!

    (5)
  • Cobb N.

Yeah they have a $5 burger at lunch. But my burger tasted like it was cooked earlier in the day and then re-heated. The meat patty was dry and tasteless. This place is the ultimate corporate wanna-be hangout. When the corporate snobs from the big M get out and want to get "wild" they go to Wild Bills and.... remain boring. I didn't find anything fresh or original to the food, the decor, or the theme. If you can't wait for the next "corporate corral" then this place is for you. Please feel free to wear your pieces of flair.

  • Cortney G.

Not my fave, not my least fave. Pretty basic in terms of the food, but sometimes all you want is a quick bar burger that's not fast food. Service is alright - know before you go: your server will more than likely be an overly perky 20-year-old that makes you relish the quiet in your car by the time you leave - but that's pretty standard for these joints. All in all, better than Sunsets but not anything to write home about.

My husband and I came here to see what all the fuss was about and it will be our last visit. We had to wait for a table because it was absolutely packed. We *thought* that was a good thing. Turns out, not so much. Our drinks from the bar were really awful. Heavy on the mixers, light on the booze. (and not cheap on the cost either!) Our appetizer, queso and chips, could have come from a school sporting event. Just wasn't great. My husband had a chicken sandwich that was supposed to have some sort of glaze on it and it was basically a dry slab of chicken on a bun. I ordered taco pizza but my husbands meal obviously took longer than mine so it came out room temp. They offered to heat it up but with lettuce and stuff on the top, that wasn't an option. Our server was fantastic and was more than gracious when we nicely voiced our overall unhappiness with our meal (which we were happy to pay for but just wanted them to know how bad it was). The manager came over and threw gift certificates at us to come back- they went into the garbage at home. While I appreciate their effort to make things right, it was just so unappetizingly bad that we won't give it another shot. As I'm reading the reviews from others, it appears we weren't alone in our displeasure.

The staff was pretty cool, I was a little miffed when I found out we couldn't make reservations for a group ahead of time, but the staff was friendly and attentive to my party. We just so happened to be there during St Patty's Day and I was surprised at how attentive they were all things considered.

New restaurant in Woodbury, open less than a month. First visit was a Monday night for $5 burger night. The food was good...not great...but certainly passable for bar food and not as damning as some earlier reviewers. I'll give it another look to check out the wings. Loads of TV's.

    (3)
  • Joe N.

My wife and I love this place. Since we go there a few times a month, many of the waitresses know us and do a great job of taking care of us. The $5 burgers on Monday's are great. The only complaints I would have is that they took away those great tasting beans they had as a side order. The other complaint was the onion rings. You pay extra to replace the fries with them. They used to give you a lot of them until they started using Surly beer in the batter, then they only give you 4 rings. Really? Actually, I only got 3 rings and mentioned it to the manager who said I was supposed to get 4. He offered to get me another order but I got full eating up my wife's fries instead. Forget the Surly beer, once they are deep fried you can't tell what beer is used anyway. Give us more rings for the money! Despite all that, I still give it 5 stars and we'll keep going back because the food is really good and how well the entire staff takes care of us!

Sat outside today and it was very nice. Had the Bourbon Teryaki burger and it was very tasty. The service was excellent. Definitely recommend for lunch. Only downside was with a group of eight which I know can take a little longer but everyone had burgers so a 25 minute wait for a burger seems a bit excessive, especially since the crowd was on the light side.

  • Mary M.

Service was poor despite the place having lots of empty tables. Food was fair but nothing worth returning for.

Stopped in for lunch a couple weeks ago. I sat in the bar area. Service was on the ball. My server (I cannot remember his name) kept the Arnie Palmer full and filled it multiple times. I had the Cajun ranch burger as the burgers were on special for $5. I subbed in onion rings. The burger was cooked properly, still juicy. The bacon was over cooked and more like a baco bits than fresh bacon. it was over cooked and not fresh. Hard. The "Cajun" was not really spiced up. more like MN hot sauce (ketchup) . The onion rings were crispy and fresh. Quit tasty! I cant complain to much about a $5 burger that tasted decent, but it surely was not anything special. The attention to details are killing this place. The bacon, calling something "cajun" and not seasoning properly and watery tomatoes. Ill go back and see if anything else on the menu works for me. The server was on the ball and the manager did stop by to check in and even grabbed another refill for my drink I do appreciate when a place does keep your drink filed. I take that in account when I tip out.. The bar looked nice, lots of TV's. Seems like a good spot to find a game on.

  • Hannes E.

Food is alright, ton of TVs, haven't been there late at night yet. In my humble opinion this place will fail if the wait staff can't get rid of the smug... which is on the management.

    (3)
  • Dan S.

I am going to pass on going back here. It wants to be a sports bar, a restaurant and a hip dance club for the GTL-ers in the greater east suburban area. I know the wait is around 30 mins no matter what time you tend to show up, but the layout is a misuse of space and the bar is surprisingly small. The one benefit I will give it, it has a ton of tv's.

I went to Wild Bills Saturday night to have a few beers with my friends. Once Wild Bills switched from a restaurant to a bar the music then became awful. Most people in the bar were 25-35 years old and the DJ wasn't playing any country or new music. Honestly if this is a country bar play some country music!

    (1)
  • John W.

We tried Wild Bill's again last night. Our first experience was not very positive and thought it may have been the time of year we visited. Service was terrible, food was ok at best once again. It tasted like store bought microwaved food you eat when you have nothing else to eat. We won't be going back a third time.

    (1)
  • John A.

Good food & Good specials. The burgers are very good - Monday special. The wings are good too. The outdoor patio is nice. Buffalo Wild Wings is losing customers, this place is much better - better food, better prices and more TV's.

My wife and I asked for a gift certificate here as we wanted to try it out. Big mistake. We started with some wings to share. Since my wife has a pretty mild palette, she picked Sesame Asian sauce which is in their medium category. The wings were small which was a disappointment but they were crunchy, which I like in a wing. The sauce was had no spice whatsoever. If you're looking for wings, try DSpot in Oakdale, much better! We both ordered the $5 burgers for lunch and the burgers were medium to medium rare which was fine for me but a little too pink for my wife. We both had onion rings and they were over cooked. When we paid with our $25 gift certificate, the server crossed out the $25 and wrote our balance on the back ($1.90). He then came back and said he needed it again to close out the check. After waiting about 5 minutes for him to come back, which he never did, we decided to leave as it wasn't worth the continued wait for the $1.90. On top of the poo food, for 6 wings and two burgers, it was at least 30 minutes before we got out burgers. We got there by about 12:30 and didn't walk out until 2pm. Overall, it was okay but I don't think we'll be back.

Food is as bad as the service. Granted place is new but get it together. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Only "country" thing about it is the staff's attire. Food lacks flavor/seasoning. Awful experience save yourself, go elsewhere. Fast food joint across the street is 100x better.

  • Colin M.

The male bartender was a complete idiot. He was super slow and also had no idea how to mix drinks. I asked for a three wise-men and he mixed me something with pineapple juice. I told him it was not a three wise-men and he argued with me that it was. What an idiot. I asked him for a Irish car bomb and he said he didn't have the ingredients for it. I later asked for a Corona and he said that there wasn't any. Seriously? It was just ridiculous how clueless they were. Most retarded place ever..

  • Judy B.

Ate there w/friends and thought the food was good enough. We had only soft drinks. Went back w/my husband who tried to order a beer. He's 70 years old, and they wanted his ID. He refused and we left. There are lots of places to eat that don't play games like this. We won't be back but they probably don't care about old people like us.

    (2)
  • Suzanne H.

Huh. I'm surprised by all of the poor reviews. I thought the service was good and the food was tasty. My family liked it. We counted 42 TVs. Could have missed a couple. :-)

    (4)
  • N F.

We've been wanting to try the new restaurant in town, but will not be back. $5 burgers are cheap, but the burger wasn't anything special. No mustard on the table. Tiny piece of lettuce and one end sliced of a pink tomato for toppings. The french fries were frozen and crinkle cut, much like a cafeteria. The salad was a large plate of iceberg lettuce with one tiny tomato wedge and a few slices of onion. Would be hard to be a less inspired salad. My husband had a chicken wrap that he also declared flavorless. The zillions of TVs were distracting and it was very loud for lunch.

    (2)
  • Diane B.

Have been twice. Service has been great both times. Food is ok - nothing remarkable. I tried the pork sliders tonight and they were far better than BDubs - especially since they were actually HOT (temperaturewise) and at BDubs they are almost always cold by the time they get to the table. Kids both had french dip sandwiches and said they were good.

Some of the best chicken tenders around. They are "home made" this means they are actual tender loins with their breading. They offer dipping sauce on the side but you should ask them to roll them in the sauce so you get a good covering. Just my preference. Service is better at the bar normally and inconsistent otherwise.

Food is alright, ton of TVs, haven't been there late at night yet. In my humble opinion this place will fail if the wait staff can't get rid of the smug... which is on the management.

Huh. I'm surprised by all of the poor reviews. I thought the service was good and the food was tasty. My family liked it. We counted 42 TVs. Could have missed a couple. :-)

We tried Wild Bill's again last night. Our first experience was not very positive and thought it may have been the time of year we visited. Service was terrible, food was ok at best once again. It tasted like store bought microwaved food you eat when you have nothing else to eat. We won't be going back a third time.

Good food & Good specials. The burgers are very good - Monday special. The wings are good too. The outdoor patio is nice. Buffalo Wild Wings is losing customers, this place is much better - better food, better prices and more TV's.
