#1: Fantastic rice paper crispy egg rolls! The best I've ever had! Great for gluten freedom! I typically don't use so many exclamation points - that's how much I appreciate their gf crispy egg rolls. #2: Reasonably priced variety of lunch specials. I especially love the Trio Delight, but that's up to personal taste. #3: You can request spiciness levels from 1-10, and they WILL make it super hot if you request 8 and up - not always typical in suburban restaurants. #4: Very professional, friendly service. It's always the same lady when we go for lunch, so she must be an owner. #5: It's way in the back of one of those confusing, twisty-turny, suburban outdoor mall things. Just keep driving toward the back. I've learned to drive in the back entrance, and then it's right there! Friendly, nice ambiance, quality food, great gf choices. A superb option.

I rushed to make it here by 12:30--and I mean *rushed.* My lunch companion was late--and I mean *late.* Had a lot of time to chat with my very friendly waitress (who felt very sorry for me) and to look over the enormous menu. My friend and I both had the pho, which was very good, though the broth was not quite as rich as I'd hoped, and the add-ins included only one slice of chili pepper! What in the what? The large size was huge--and I mean *huge,* and as a test, I brought my leftovers home to see how gelatinous the broth would become in the fridge. It didn't, maybe because I'd been a wimp and ordered only the eye of round steak and flank--no tendon. With rice-based noodles, and very little soy sauce, Vietnamese food can work in favor of those like my daughter who are gluten-free, so as I waited--and I mean waited--for my friend, I asked some questions. It quickly became obvious that this was over the head of the waitress, but she later brought out the owner, and I thought, "Ah, now we're getting somewhere." Well, I admit I have a difficult time with accents of all sorts, but he was a little overly-quick to assure me. We decided that he would make a Bun Bo (Rice Vermicelli with Marinated Beef) for me to take home, and he'd do it gluten-free. As he went back to the kitchen, though, my friend and I agreed that he'd been just a bit too quick, or hadn't listened quite well enough, for me to feel real comfortable giving the Bun Bo to my daughter. This is only by way of being a heads up to you with food allergies to be sure you've asked all your questions and feel comfortable about the answers before you put your order in. Anyway, I brought that flipping beef with vermicelli home, and wasn't giving it to my daughter, so it was mine. And it was good--and I mean good. Smoky beef, tasty add-ins, tangy dressing. And it was huge--and I mean huge. I got a dinner and two lunches out of it. So will I be back? You bet. Will I bring my daughter? Yes indeed. Will I ask more questions? Uh-huh. Will I love the food? I will love--and I mean Love--the food, and so will you.

Thank you, fellow Yelpers, for bringing my awareness to this delicious restaurant! I would've never known it existed except that Michael L. reviewed it just days ago. It worked out perfectly because I was seeking somewhere interesting to eat in Woodbury while waiting for a brake job on my car. First of all, the service was outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, laid back, yet enthusiastic. The atmosphere is fairly generic, but pleasant. The restaurant was extremely clean. Dishes were delivered in the correct order, and quite swiftly. My boyfriend ordered the Pad Thai with tofu (hold the eggs). I am not generally a fan of Pad Thai, but this was exquisite! The flavor of tamarind really came through, and there was the perfect amount of lime, cilantro, peanuts, sprouts, and carrots. I would go as far as to say that this was the best Pad Thai I've ever had. My boyfriend said it wasn't the best he's had, but definitely in the top tier. I ordered the stir fry vegetable lunch special (add mock duck), which would've been really good but they put way too much celery in the dish...bringing the level down to just "good". I guess it's not their fault that I don't care for celery much. I wouldn't order that again, though. The vegetable spring rolls did not disappoint....which is impressive since most places have sad spring rolls in my opinion. I am glad to find such a gem in Woodbury, and since I work in Woodbury, I'll be able to find plenty of excuses to come back to Thanh Truc.

I love the egg rolls at Thanh Truc, and the rest of their food is also very solid. Service has always been very good. You can tell that they are a family run business and take pride in each customer.

I'm a fan of this place. The pho is good, the spring rolls are fantastic and there are few places with such a list of fragrant teas. I especially like the elegant decor. The overall atmosphere is subdued and tranquil. A place of gentle conversation and subtle flavor.

Good service. Good quality food. Definitely will be back. We've only been there once and we've never had "Thai" food so we weren't sure what to order. When we told some friends of ours what we ordered it was nothing that they would recommend, so the next time we go back we look forward to trying their specialties. Service, again, was great.

I love eating here, the staff is great, and the food is ready quickly. I have learned it is better to eat in, than take out, for some reason the dishes are slightly different. The only bad thing I noticed is they are heavy on the veggies. Its not a glaring issue since the portions are large enough for 2 meals.

The resturant is hidden from most people due to it's location. The food is average and service is often slow. Most of the time it only has 1 waitress+the owner. You can get better Pho and Pad Thai elsewhere. If you live close by, it's probably an OK alternative.

Thanh Truc is a small, non-assuming store-front Vietnamese restaurant in a strip mall, but it's some of the best food I've ever had. The menu features both Chinese and Vietnamese dishes including classics such as Pho and Sesame Chicken. Everything, and I mean everything, is excellent. The restaurant reviewer for the Pioneer Press said Thanh Truc had the best pho in the Twin Cities. It's the best pho I've had since I left California. The menu features a number of house specialities which we're slowly working our way through. We have yet to be disappointed by any of them. The food is always flavorful and never drowned in sauce. The tastes are light, the meat is tender, and the vegetables are fresh. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. The staff is friendly and engaging. Don't miss out on the tea menu. The tea is equally wonderful. For three people with beverages and appetizers, we average around $35. So, the cost usually sits somewhere around $10 a person.

Thanh Truc is pretty amazing! It's VERY clean, warm and welcoming feeling. Service was super friendly! I ordered the steak and flank pho, and the cream cheese wontons based on reviews I saw here. The cream cheese wontons are indeed, delicious! However, they're fairly large and, it turns out, an order is for six wontons ($4.75). I guess I didn't pay attention to the size of the order. Oops! Six wontons were about 4 too many for me, but details, right? I am a sauce lover and totally enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with them. The pho was flavorful, delicious and cheap at only $7.50. I'm really new to the magic that is pho, but I've quickly learned that it's cheap almost everywhere. I was sad to see something super fatty floating around in my bowl and started picking it out. The lady working saw me doing this and came over to chat about it. Apparently the flank is super fatty and she gave me advice on what not to get if I didn't like the fatty, tough meat. I had issues with something fatty floating in my pho before, so I was happy to learn what to avoid. I can't say enough nice things about the service. It was fast, friendly and very welcoming. I will totally return to try all the other yummy looking dishes on the menu!

Having recently relocating to MN, it is quite nice to venture out and try the non-chain restaurants in the area, which somewhat reminds me of SF and Midtown Sacramento. During my friend-lunch-date, I had already pre-scanned the menu and was feeling a bit nostalgic when I thought of the Friday lunches that I had with my Clique-friend in Sacramento, which was often trying various restaurants serving Pho. So that's what I ordered, Pho with the thin slices of round steak beef. Of course I kicked up my bowl of soup with the garnishments of Jalapeño and Sriracha sauce. My friend ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, which reminded her of her fave restaurant in San Diego --so I guess we were both reminiscing about our days in CA. I was able to taste her dish that was a bit different from what I am used to since the shrimp had some batter --and was definitely good. The service was great with their allowing us to continue our conversation since we were playing catch up from the holidays. I look forward to visiting this local Vietnamese restaurant and trying other dishes, but I am sure that I will probably settle for some comforting Pho.

A HUGE disappointment for Vietnamese food! Pho really sucks (they have missing ingredients to what a real pho is) and they cater to white people as this is located in a suburban area.

The food was pretty good. We were surprised that even our 3 year old enjoyed it and wants to come back. The owners were so nice to him. They even let him peek in the kitchen. Very friendly. And their tofu is awesome. We'll definitely be coming back.

I'm used to eating at Vietnamese places in Frogtown. Ethnic restaurants in the suburbs are often a little watered down, and I'm afraid that's the case here. I've eaten here from time to time over several years. The food is always fine, but not exceptional. Today my husband and I shared a plate of pad thai and a combination noodle salad. The combination salad is a confusing item on the menu, which refers to items C1, C2, and C3 that aren't really defined. Even after asking the proprietor for clarification, I thought I was getting a salad with chicken, pork, shrimp, and some egg roll slices. But when it showed up at the table, there were no egg rolls on it. The salad ingredients were really fresh but it was a little bland, lacking the variety of herbs I expected. The pad thai was overwhelmingly beefy and lacking that distinctive pad thai flavor. We also ordered fresh spring rolls, which were the best part of the meal. Service is friendly, and the decor is pleasant. I would eat here again when I'm in the area--making sure to order the beef salad noodles and chicken or shrimp pad thai--but probably wouldn't make a special trip to come here.

One star only because we don't really know what the food is like. We went for lunch. Yelp says it opens at 11 for lunch. We showed up at 2:30 to find they were closed for a few hours between lunch and dinner. The hours of operation are not correctly reflected on yelp :(. Guess we will have to try them another time.

I placed a take out order. I always always always repeat back the order. I ordered over the phone. I placed an order of won tons and a tofu / shitake order. i repeated it back, the lady on the phone said 3 orders of wontons, I politely said no, only 1. She said ok it'll be ready in 15 minutes. I get there and my total is 30$ i immediately knew she charged me for 3 orders. The lady fixed it, but gave me attitude and proceeded to say I repeated it back. I said yes, and you repeated it back wrong and i corrected you. she said ok, huffed off and said something to people in the kitchen and charged me correctly. The food was actually good, but I was turned off by the attitude. Its like why are you giving me attitude over your mistake, ? I think this is a common occurrence at this spot. Would I come back? Maybe...

Fast service, great food. My husband and I eat here once a week, and the food never disappoints! Our favorites are the Sole with black bean sauce, and the Tofu curry. Their cream cheese wontons are great, and so is their Pho! Their marinated beef vermicelli salad is fresh and light, and you can't go wrong with their fresh spring rolls!

Best Pad Thai, egg rolls and cream cheese wontons in the Twin Cities! Pho is amazing, never had a bad dish here, always fresh, always flavorful.

About the food: Skip the spring rolls: they are all cellophane noodle and shredded lettuce--no veggies and very little tofu. The veggie soup and hot and sour soup are ok, but both have nothing to set them apart from any others. As people on Yelp say, "meh." Our entrees were better. I liked my tofu and veggie curry, and David liked his beef with pea pods. About the atmosphere: This wasn't a place for a relaxing dinner. The place was slammed and needed more help. Our waiter was running around frenetically. The food came out pretty much all together. That said, the food came out quickly. I don't think I'd go back.

This is nice place but service is terribly slow.Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Food is ok and price is reasonable. You can chose Spice level from 1 to 10. If you can handle hot food ,go for 6 or 7. I opted for 10 and it's pretty hot but not even close to Blazing hot Buffalo Wild Wings or Thai hot.

If you are a fan of Pho this is the place to go in Woodbury! The ingredients are always very fresh and the service is very fast. If you have any questions about menu items the staff is great at answering questions as well!

Well, this was the closest restaurant to my friend's place. I had the pho soup which was really good. Lately, it has been alot of Duc's but would come here again when I get a chance. The place is run pretty fast and quick so no worries if you are running late. The owners seem almost eager to serve and clean up when you are done.

I freaking love this Pad Thai. I always get a ten on the spicy level because it's not that spicy at all but this is my go to place for pad Thai. The egg rolls are bomb too

The food is generally a step above typical Asian take away. The problems have developed more recently. First it was just some bad dishes--extra greasy, cold, careless errors. Tonight my take out order was wrong and one of the meals had shrimp instead of chicken--which can be a big deal if shrimp makes you sick. I called them and was told they'd make the right dish for me right away. So when I arrived I was surprised to get treated like it was a problem or I was somehow dishonest or scamming them. They required me to bring the dish back and then inspected it at the front counter, the woman explained that she had taken my order and was sure it was right. She rolled her eyes. Then she walked away and said she'd get something else. So I was told to wait...again...while they made the dish I'd ordered an hour previous. Never once did they apologize or make me feel valued or even respected. I've been there dozens of times but I won't be back. And for all that hassle, the bad attitude, I'm giving them one annoyed star.

We have eaten here three times since we moved to Woodbury in July. The food was excellent each time. We had slow service on our last visit but our waitress was apologetic and said someone called in sick. It happens. There is plenty of variety on the menu. The place looks nondescript and is in a strip mall but don't let that color your judgment the food is good!

Don't you dare to complaint about their food even if they make a mistake to your order. The psychotic owner treats you like a criminal if you have any complaint at all. The restaurant does have very good Egg roll and many other variety of dishes. The stirred fries are usually bland. Service is friendly most of the time. Do not expect much of a service though when the restaurant is crowded.

My boyfriend and I tried this place out after walking into another restaurant and being told it was a 50 minute wait. No thanks. We drove around the area as I googled Gibbs nearby. I found this place and figured we should try it out. Man am I glad Google pointed is in be right direction. The egg rolls are to die for! Super authentic. The cream cheese wontons weren't for me but my boyfriend raved about them so I'll say they were good! I had the chicken pad Thai and it was flavorful, spicy and very delicious. He had the chicken egg foo young and really enjoyed it! It's only been since Sunday evening and we are already going there tonight (Thursday) for round two! Eat here folks! You won't regret it!

I've always thought this was a couple steps above your typical Americanized Asian food. The vegetables are fresh and plentiful, the food is flavorful rather than just greasy. And the restaurant itself is bright and clean. But the last time I got takeout here I was very underwhelmed. The wontons (which used to be my favorite wontons ever) weren't nearly as good as I remembered and 2 of the 6 were empty (must have popped open in the oil). My husband's thai curry and our shared chicken wings were excellent, but my beef lo mein had NO BEEF, and didn't even taste beefy. No flavor whatsoever - I ended up throwing it away. I called them the following day to follow up on the problems and was told to expect a call back once they had "checked the orders from yesterday" (as if my story can't be trusted without evidence or something), but never got any follow up. After this last experience, I don't really have any desire to go back.

We had been looking for a good pho at a reasonable price in the eastern suburbs and had been utterly dissatisfied with our options. Thankfully, we hadn't quite given up, kept trying different places, and found this gem. While not the best pho we've had (check out Vietnam House in Brooklyn Park), this was easily in the top five. Plenty good enough since we now live on this side of town. Our only two complaints are: 1 They don't have all the different additions on the table and only bring out Sriracha and hoisin sauce (though I did ask for, and received fish sauce and crushed chili peppers); and 2 They only offered disposable chopsticks, which are not as nice to use as the plastic ones. We also had the Hot and Spicy chicken which we both enjoyed, and my son had the Spicy Noodle which he wouldn't recommend. Also, we ordered the entrees at full hot (10) which was decent, but not quite hot enough; maybe we'll see if they can go to 11 next time.

The Thanh Truc I love is back! I'm sticking to my Pork with Thai basil and guess what, I'm not sharing it. I just keep ordering this, I love it so much. My last visit, we tried the lemon grass chicken wings. I didn't care for them - scrawny wings with a bit of a char on the outside. Not for me.

Great food! Delicious...pretty speedy. Friendly service. Regarding the spicy ness- heat level... 9 is the level my wife had to order to get pretty hot. 6 is still pretty mild but a little spicy. Love this place and, the egg rolls are amazing!

This place is tucked away in a corner of a strip mall and can be quite easily missed. Oh, how I wish I would have missed it. I want to love this place so much, but my honey walnut shrimp being served with a glaring side of curly hair really turned me off from this place. The waitress was nice enough and offered to make me another dish, but at this point the only thing you can do to save face is really just let me get the check and get out of there.

So i've been here twice now, 1st time dining in and second time as take out. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly, it is very much so a family run restaurant. Charm aside it should be about the food, and that's where I want to say I like it but I had a really tough time with it. So takeout tonight consisted of Mongolian beef and sesame chicken. I've had my fair share of both at different restaurants (not named panda express or Leann chin) and it just didn't seem right. For starters the Mongolian beef was over powered by the celery and didn't really have good flavor. The sesame chicken was mediocre at best, heavily battered and not tossed with the sauce. The sauce was not all that sweet and again didn't possess good flavor. At the end of day I am disappointed with my meal, I want to like it but can't take myself to say it. If you are looking for a good sesame chicken or Mongolian beef there is a great place at valley creek and woodlane. Try at your own risk.

HORRIBLE service. Ordered the Kung Pao chicken and noticed they gave us the wrong chicken when we got home. Called back and they said there is NOTHING they can do about it. Could not even understand the person on the phone! Defiantly NOT going back.

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers for pointing out this great spot near my office. Who said you can't get great food in Woodbury. The Pho here just as good as the spots on University Avenue, and it is much cleaner than its St. Paul counterparts. Friendly wait staff, super cheap for lunch...we are talking many options under $7. My lunch companion got some sort of a shrimp, noodle and vegetable plate and she thought it was pretty bland, so I would stick with the Pho, unless you like your Vietnamese food Minnesota style.

I really, really want to LOVE this place, instead I only really like this place. The service is fast and friendly. The place is clean and neat. However this is the second time I have found HAIR in our barely half-eaten chicken pad thai. Even more disappointing is that after we pointed out the hair, our server said she would take care of it. Instead she came back and told us there were no women with long hair cooking tonight. Say what? Even more disappointing that the first disappointing was that she didn't not even offer to remake the food (although I wouldn't trust it)! So basically, we had to leave a half-eaten order pad thai on the table AND pay for it. A word of advise...look before you bite! I've read where other yelpers have had the same "hairy" experience.

Staying with family and looked to give local place a try. Had the Kung Poa Chix with 8 spice, safe to say it wasn't even close to spicy and lacked flavor. Sis had the pad thai and that was better. Spring rolls weren't bad either. Nothing to write home about, interior looked nice for a dine in experience.

This place has a certain family-owned charm to it, unless you're sitting next to the kitchen entrance where the door bangs into the wall every time they walk in/out... but assuming you're not at that one table... I just moved from Denver, where my wife and I had a favorite pho place that we'd patronize weekly. Having moved up to Woodbury we were saddened to find a lack of good pho places outside the cities. The first time we ate at Thanh Truc, we had a pretty bad experience (completely bland sesame chicken and completely meh Thai curry - green, I think), and declared the place a no-go. In the process of giving the no-go restaurants in the area a second chance, we both had pho here... and we've been going back weekly since! The pho is really quite good... not the best we've ever had, but certainly good enough to be our new pho place from now on. The noodles are in a mass at the bottom of the bowl (until you stir them back to life), and once they ran out of basil... but otherwise it's good stuff. I look forward to hot bowls of pho at Thanh Truc on cold winter nights!

I entered into a nice atmosphere with soft classy music of the non-elevator variety, a huddle of persons waiting for their take-out orders, and a good number of people at tables on a Monday evening - all good signs. I ordered egg rolls and pork crispy noodles, both of which were noted as chef recommendations; and a bottle of Singha lager - no recommendation necessary. The egg rolls arrived quickly, hot, crispy and delicious. Like wise, the pork crispy noodles did not disappoint. As for the Singha lager - well, if you need to ask, just try one; it probably won't be your last. According to my friendly server, Thanh Truc has been here since 2004. it is now 2009; you do the math. Although I have been to other businesses in this center, sadly I did not know it was here. Until now that is, having learned about it on Yelp today. Thank you Yelp and prior reviewers. I had a nearly perfect meal. All that was needed was my wife. I can't wait to bring her here.

I come to this restaurant at least once a week. It's tucked away in a little strip mall and isn't off a major intersection, but luckily, some coworkers knew about it, otherwise, I would've never found it. Ethnic restaurants are definitely not as abundant in the Twin Cities as they are in other major cities I've been to or in which I've lived *ahemCHICAGOahem* Somehow though, my two favorite "ethnic" restaurants around the Twin Cities have been in Woodbury. I know that I need to get out and look for more elsewhere. One of my favorite things to get at this place is lunch special C5, it's grilled chicken and an eggroll over rice noodles. I have no idea what else it's called, but I know that C5 is my favorite. The Pho is quite good too. There's also some type of a seafood noodle soup that's delicious. Finally, there's a steak salad, called shaking beef that is very good too. They actually have Chinese and Thai items on the menu as well, and those are good as well. The Kung Pao chicken is very good. It's a rarity that a place that offers more than one "ethnic" type of food is good at making all of them, let alone, good enough to impress me. But this place definitely gets my approval. Also, if you like your food spicy, make sure you ask for the hot sauce on the side, and/or ask them to make your food spicy. Sometimes, at Asian restaurants, when you ask for spicy food, they don't make it too spicy, because they think you can't handle it. So if you can, just do yourself a favor and ask for the hot sauce (Sriracha sauce).

This is the second place I have ever tried thai food from, and while my seafood and noodle entree was good and set at the right spiciness level, It still didn't knock my socks off. This place is good enough for me to return and see if I find another item I like better but I was way more impressed with the meal I got at Sawatadee. I will try again and the staff seem friendly.

Have read the reviews but never made it out there until recently. What a pleasant surprise, deep deep DEEP in the heart of suburbia. The food is fresh and made with a light hand, which can't always be said for deep-fried stuff like egg rolls...I like the space too, very clean and minimal. Portions are utterly massive for the price. Lunch specials come in $5 or $6.50 options - I just had the bún bò with grilled chicken and got served up a massive bowl that will easily fulfill my lunch needs for the rest of the week. I dare say I've found something to enjoy in the 'burbs!

I've been to this restaurant 3 times now because I want to give a restaurant a fair rating. Each time my boyfriend and I go in, there's usually one person waiting tables and another at the occasionally at the register--regardless of how busy it is. We give them the benefit of the doubt but we don't get our waters until after 10 minutes of sitting. Coming back to take our orders takes another 20 minutes. They didn't refill waters, they did not come back to check on us it or ask if everything looks OK or if we need anything additional. When we do ask for something additional during the order, it never comes out; we'd have to ask again if and when they do come around. On 2 occasions, my boyfriend or myself had to wait at the register to get someone's attention. The 3rd visit, it took about 25 minutes for the waiter to serve us water. I purposely observed around me to see who was getting served that came before and after us. We were about to leave the restaurant until the waiter came by with water FINALLY. I'd hate to be the rude customer in order to get good service. I believe that if the restaurant prides itself in the food they make, that should also reflect on their customer service skills. There's no doubting the food is delicious but I've been to numerous hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurants in the Cities and I've had far better experiences there. I give Thanh Truc 2 stars: one for great tasting food and one for a clean bathroom.

one word- beef pad thai. . . ok that was three i have eaten here so many times i have lost count. Decor is very traditional with bamboo plants on all the tables. Service is out of this world the owner will sit and chat with you for as long as she can. Portions are extremely large and can satisfy the hungriest of customers. Go once and you will not be able to get it out of your head. I can't say enough about this place as it has become a family favorite.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I have to Say i don't hand out fives easily but they very well deserve it. I started out with the flank pho and it was amazing, Best I've had in years. Well done I've been looking for a place that had good pho and now I don't have to look any longer. I also asked for a special order of fried rice. I'm a finicky girl I like my fried rice with chicken, beans sprouts and Peapods and spicy number 10. And I got my fried rice exactly how I ordered it absolutely delicious. And those lemon grass chicken wings I won't even touch those because they stand out on their own. I had a sesame chicken for my entrée different technique but definitely worth the extra containers delicious! I will be back for more for sure. And I've already told plenty of people about them. And let me tell you about the price the best part of it all 24 bucks for everything. Happy customer here think I'll be going in tomorrow night as matter-of-fact got to try some new stuff on the menu. I'll be going in for the pad Thai next.

(4)Karin M.
I love the egg rolls at Thanh Truc, and the rest of their food is also very solid. Service has always been very good. You can tell that they are a family run business and take pride in each customer.
(4)John W.
I'm a fan of this place. The pho is good, the spring rolls are fantastic and there are few places with such a list of fragrant teas. I especially like the elegant decor. The overall atmosphere is subdued and tranquil. A place of gentle conversation and subtle flavor.
(4)matt k.
Good service. Good quality food. Definitely will be back. We've only been there once and we've never had "Thai" food so we weren't sure what to order. When we told some friends of ours what we ordered it was nothing that they would recommend, so the next time we go back we look forward to trying their specialties. Service, again, was great.
(3)Buck R.
Just ate there tonight! We are in love with their Honey Walnut Shrimp!! We really enjoyed the egg rolls too/
(4)Christine W.
I love eating here, the staff is great, and the food is ready quickly. I have learned it is better to eat in, than take out, for some reason the dishes are slightly different. The only bad thing I noticed is they are heavy on the veggies. Its not a glaring issue since the portions are large enough for 2 meals.
(4)G S.
The resturant is hidden from most people due to it's location. The food is average and service is often slow. Most of the time it only has 1 waitress+the owner. You can get better Pho and Pad Thai elsewhere. If you live close by, it's probably an OK alternative.
(3)Cobb N.
Fried egg rolls are good.

(5)Ellie E.

(3)Sarah G.
Authentic. Delicious. Pho is to die for. All the food is to die for! Lots of healthy options too
(4)Gaily G.
A HUGE disappointment for Vietnamese food! Pho really sucks (they have missing ingredients to what a real pho is) and they cater to white people as this is located in a suburban area.
(1)Ryan K.
Thanh Truc has become a weekly visit for us. The fried rice is excellent and we really love the Hot and Spicy Shrimp. The service is efficient and takes good care of us as customers.
(5)Tanya F.
The food was pretty good. We were surprised that even our 3 year old enjoyed it and wants to come back. The owners were so nice to him. They even let him peek in the kitchen. Very friendly. And their tofu is awesome. We'll definitely be coming back.
(4)Patti I.
(3)Kelley D.
(1)Trent R.
I love this place! Service is great. The food is always fresh. I had the C3 tonight. We have been coming here since they opened. We will be back soon.
(5)Jennifer B.
Maybe...
(3)Farah A.
(5)James C.
Best Pad Thai, egg rolls and cream cheese wontons in the Twin Cities! Pho is amazing, never had a bad dish here, always fresh, always flavorful.
(5)J M.
(3)Betsy H.
Loved the pho, the spring rolls were AWESOME, and the Thai tea was delicious! Great service as well, the couple serving and hosting out front were very sweet. Definitely will come back again!
(5)Kelly V.
My husband is Vietamese and we love eating here! The PHO is good. We really like the spring rolls and the fried wontons! My husband enjoys the salad C1
(5)Maria B.
We adore this place!!! We go here often! I can't count how many times we have gone. The owners and staff are always pleasant. The prices are very reasonable! our favorite is the Walnut Shrimp. The BEST.
(5)Dinesh S.
Very good food and service is very fast. Clean place and no noise at all. Pho is a must.
(5)Rohit A.
(3)Anika L.
If you are a fan of Pho this is the place to go in Woodbury! The ingredients are always very fresh and the service is very fast. If you have any questions about menu items the staff is great at answering questions as well!
(5)Phillip Y.
(5)Maya N.
I freaking love this Pad Thai. I always get a ten on the spicy level because it's not that spicy at all but this is my go to place for pad Thai. The egg rolls are bomb too
(5)T H.
(1)Dave K.
(5)Gator L.
Fantastic
(5)Lovetoeat T.
(2)Amanda M.
(4)Jeannie V.
(2)Milo G.
(4)Lisa M.
Not for me.
(4)Marty J.
Great food! Delicious...pretty speedy. Friendly service. Regarding the spicy ness- heat level... 9 is the level my wife had to order to get pretty hot. 6 is still pretty mild but a little spicy. Love this place and, the egg rolls are amazing!
(5)Aero E.
(1)Ed N.
(2)Emily M.
HORRIBLE service. Ordered the Kung Pao chicken and noticed they gave us the wrong chicken when we got home. Called back and they said there is NOTHING they can do about it. Could not even understand the person on the phone! Defiantly NOT going back.
(1)Dan S.
(4)Teynae R.
(2)Aaron W.
(2)Matt R.
(4)Michael L.
(5)jordan o.
not bad. I liked the large cream cheese wontons.
(3)Dima M.
(5)W M.
After a long drive through a snowstorm, the pho was awesome! I also tried the lettuce wrap, which was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I am definitely coming back.
(5)Tony K.
(3)Jonathan K.
Food is good if you are in the area and don't want to go out to St Paul or Minneapolis
(3)Matt M.
Very Good Food in a Place I have Drove by a thousand times ,Fresh Ingredients cooked to perfection veggies were crisp and done meat was perfect not dried out like allot of places do in stir fries
(4)Dee T.
(4)Minnesota R.
Asian crave? This is the spot. Unless you want to travel to St. Paul....
(3)Mae M.
