I am a loose leaf tea fan-- ok, maybe even a snob (I don't drink tea bags anymore because loose leaf tastes better to me). This place provides a wide variety of teas to taste and bring home. All for very reasonable prices - especially compared to their competition. I had the Marrakech chai (a green tea chai with mint) made hot with a little milk and honey. Mmm it was delicious! I also purchased a few loose leaf tea varieties for home. Oh, and tea tins are available for purchase and are only $2-3! If you like tea, or want to learn to like tea, this place is your place!

Slow. Slow to order, slow to make. I seem to always come in on the tail of squawking teenage girls who stand at the counter and "um............" for fifteen minutes before they order anything. Uptown and Grand Ave location are far superior.

LOVE this place. I suppose my review is a little biased because I'm addicted to taro bubble tea and this is pretty much the only place in the Woodbury area to get it. Also, I've never gotten anything there besides a taro bubble tea smoothie with tapioca pearls, but that's because it's so tasty I don't feel the need to try anything else. That and the fact that their drinks are too expensive for me to feel comfortable trying something I might not love. The staff is always friendly, but because of the way their payment system is set up, I always feel guilted into tipping the baristas even if they haven't done anything to earn it. If I go to a restaurant, my waiter/tress checks on me several times throughout the meal, thus earning a tip. I shouldn't feel obligated to tip the cashier $1 simply for taking my order. Having to tip the baristas on top of their already pricey drinks (on average, at least a $1 more than coffee drinks) makes for an awfully pricey indulgence, but definitely worth it every now and again.

Cute little tea shop. They mostly do bubble tea. I tried what was written on the board for the day: strawberry guava green iced tea. No bubbles.

I loved the St Paul location (now closed), but have grown lukewarm with Woodbury. The drinks are mostly very sweet concoctions so they are fun for the kids and others who don't like real tea. It is hard to get a good glass of real tea if that's what you're after. The bubbles and jellies are fun and hard to find, which is a plus. Staff is nice enough, but I don't like the current checkout system, where the salesperson asks me if I want to leave a 20, 25, or 30% tip.

I had never heard of this place before seeing it on groupon but how could I resist a Bubble Tea groupon! 5 individual Bubble Tea certificates for only $11??? Whoo Hoo!! , It was crazy busy when we visited midday, most likely from the recent groupon, so I am going to let the horribly slow service slide. The young man who took our order was super nice, friendly and the drinks were good. A few people in front of us had huge to-go orders which caused quite a delay. The flavor choices are endless and you can choose tapioca pearls or a favorite jelly flavor if seeing things in the bottom of your glass is your Thang! We ordered Thai Tea Latte and Taro Bubble Tea. They tasted exactly like they are supposed to taste. We did not stay but I am not sure I would enjoy hanging out . The tables are too close together for my taste. I like my privacy bubble and it most definitely would be invaded here! There is a big comfy couch to curl up on and a nice patio with ample seating if you don't need to plug in. If we happen to be in Woodbury and have a hankering for some Bubble tea, we will be back!

A really nice atmosphere for tea on a summer Saturday evening. Friendly staff allowed me to smell the tea before ordering.

Lots of options, nice staff, small but cute and has live music at times. Always yummy!

The only thing I miss about MN is the Steepery Chai Shake (sometimes with Chocolate). I will be visiting next month and planning my trip around getting at their MOA location! The 4 instead of 5 stars: The chai is great, customer service and exact taste totally depends on who's working....not consistent.

I went here twice with my mom. I really liked the jackfruit shake with popping lychee pearls. Delicious bubble tea!

Awesome! They have Thai Tea which I have only found in authentic Thai / Asian restaurants. The Thai is very yummy (drinking it while I'm writing this). I am not a coffee drinker, so this place was perfect. Plenty of seating with plugs for laptops. Great place to chill. Cute girls kept walking in :) Wish they had one of these in every major city. Will have to visit in the summer time. The only thing lacking was their environmental impact solutions. Only one community garbage. Would have liked a mug instead of paper cup if I'm drinking it there. Lets save some trees. I ordered a chai to go, but I do not think it was chai. I consider myself a connoisseur of chai, ordering it at almost every place I go. The drink they made me was very tasty, but not anywhere close to traditional chai. I would describe the drink they gave me as bubblegum tea. I have never had bubblegum tea, but if there is such a thing, that is probably what it would taste like. I will order chai the next time I visit just to see if they slipped me the bubblegum by accident. The Thai and Chai(or bubblegum) were very sweet. I prefer certain teas a little on the sweeter side, but some people may not like it. I would suggest that Steepery give the customer a little more control of how sweet certain drinks will end up. They do have plenty of loose leaf tea options to make your own.

My wife is addicted to this place and it's starting to grow on me as well. Does tea replace coffee? It won't as long as this place keeps the current hour of operation. At this point, tea feels more like a cultural event instead of a daily need like coffee. Would have been 5 star review if they would open earlier.

Love all things Steepery and Tea Garden. They have large selection of great flavored ice teas with an equally impressive selection of jellies. Friendly staff and great people watching
