I have eaten at several Green Mills. If you are willing to wait then definitely get the deep dish pizza, otherwise the thin crust is good too. As for this location, it is pretty much the only place to go if you are staying at one of the four surrounding hotels. The service is pretty good.

I had the Sunday brunch buffet and it was okay at best. I understand underseasoning on buffets, but, the pasta was tasteless. It obviously hadn't been cooked in seasoned water, and it doesn't matter how good a sauce is, if the pasta is tasteless it affects the whole dish. The service was also very slow with having to wait on drinks, salt and pepper. Plus I asked for ketchup and didn't get it until the food was cold, therefore not needing it anymore.

Outstanding experience here! The redesign is awesome. Great atmosphere and layout. I had Canadian Walleye, which was phenomenal. The service was great. Brittney (sp?) Kept my cup full and was very attentive. Would definitely return.

Better than I expected. Given that this town is fairly far out in Minnesota (which is pretty much the middle of nowhere for this East Coast boy) I freely admit to having fairly low expectations. They also had the the bonus of being open on Christmas day. They had a decent selection of beer and while not the best pizza I have had it was decent (sorry I am a pizza snob so that is as good as you will get when you are not having deep dish in Chicago or a classic slice in NYC) and reasonably priced.

Awesome place great food and great service, I don't know how people can say it's just ok I've been in Willmar working for two weeks and the green mill is one of the best places in town to eat. Ate here three times and never had anything to complain about

Food is pretty decent off the menu. The Sunday brunch is okay at best, it seems to have gone downhill in the last couple of years. Wait staff is pretty good.

The food was ok, but the service and consistancy keeps you guessing. Might be ok, might be bad. Not my first choice.

the restaurant its self was good with nice decorations and settings sports bar theme. what gives it a low score was the servers lack of enthusiastic with there work. the food however was at best sub pare and quality was very low. my burger could have tasted better if they used fresh patty that didn't taste frozen. the people just go for the atmosphere.

Given the fact that in a small town you have slim pickings for dining, Green Mill is a good place to go. They have great happy hour specials too. I love going to my parent's town to visit...app and three tall beers only $15 with tip.
