A gem of a deli in Willernie! I had the rueben and it was excellent, they used coleslaw instead of sauerkraut, which I thought was strange when I saw it, but actually really enjoyed it. The owner came out to check on us, which I always appreciate. I was a little envious of the burgers I saw being dropped off at other tables, so I'll have to try one of those next time. Don't let the interior fool you, this place has great food. Check it out!!

DELICIOUS everything, the first time i was there i had the chicken pasta salad it was so fresh and the lettuce was so crisp. It was like they had their own garden in the back, my boyfriend had the chicken Parmesan with sauce that was to die for, the chicken was cooked so perfect smothered with fresh mozzarella cheese. He said it was the best he has ever had (he gets it almost every time) even better then his grandmas recipe witch i thought was impossible to beat. I have also tried the corn beef, it is so tender and delicious it melted in my mouth. I have picked up some Boars Heads lunch meat and cheeses and i must say i was very impressed how reasonably priced they are for Boars Head. In the summer i like to bring my niece and nephew in for Bridgman's ice cram after the beach they love the superman ice cram they have. Alright if that is not enough reason to give this fabulous mom and pop restaurant a try i don't know what is. :)

The Fettuccine Alfredo was amazing! You can definitely tell it is made from scratch and not that pre-made stuff. Worth a try, you wont be disappointed

I hope this help them make the place better

Only stopped because we couldn't find parking at the restaurant we were planning to go to. Food was below average for the cost. Very disapointed. We won't be back

I had the mediterranean salad, loved it! I also enjoyed samples off my family's plates! Everything was delicious and I love Bridgemans ice cream - so nice to see the local support. Prices/portions are terrific; service was excellent (we had a large group during a busy rush); everything is fresh and the place was spotless (even the bathroom, which is vital in my opinion!). I will definitely be back!

Delicious hot open turkey. Very reasonable prices and impeccably clean. We were on our way to the Gremlin Theatre in St. Paul and the kids were hungry so we took a chance and stopped into Olive Joe's and I'm glad we did. The kids loved the burgers and my wife enjoyed the fresh corned beef very much.

Okay, so I read the review and thought to give it a try. This is coming from the guy who loves the Mom and Pop shops and hates Applebees! Whoever says the reuben here is awesome; I can tell has Never had a good reuben! The reuben is fair at best. coleslaw sucks and the deviled egg potato from Sysco wasn't that good. The shake wasn't that good which they use Bridgeman Ice cream which is fair. Is this place horrible? No...I'm saying it is nothing special that wows you. It is only fair at best.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
