Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Food is super mediocre. Love that it's always delivered soggy and that when you ask for them to poke holes in it they poke it so that the holes are still covered, and that they only poked them in the top container. Also super love not receiving a straw when ordering a shake. I think for the price maybe you guys could take better care of your customers. We order it because it's convenient that they deliver but we won't be be ordering again.

No frills, but very good place to go for breakfast. Fast, friendly, efficient service. Our server, Nancy, got our order exactly right, with a bunch of specifications. Slice of ham with our eggs was tasty and moist. In and out in a half hour.

I'm afraid Maggie's has past her prime. On a recent evening visit we were struck by how dirty the place was, and how weak the service was. It wasn't a busy night, but the floors and tables were not clean, our food took forever to arrive, and when it did orders had been messed up. One dining companion had ordered a Rachel and received a Rueben. When she sent it back, they just took off the corned beef and replaced it with turkey - same bread, same cheese, same corned beef juice dripping on the plate. For a family restaurant, we were also surprised that they did not have the appropriate facilities for a family restroom, i.e., a changing table. We had a terrible time trying to change a messy diaper in the restroom without it. Needless to say, it will be a long time before we give Maggie's another visit.

Delicious. Had the French Combo and it was amazing. Really good place for breakfast.

Visited Maggie's for breakfast for the first time on a Diner's Club Card coupon. Food was good. I had eggs, homefries, sausage and the pancake upgrade. The sausage was good, homefries were awesome and the pancakes were ok - could have used some warm syrup! Boyfriend had the Mexican omelet that was delicious and pretty big - about the size of a burrito! The only downfall was that they didn't seem to have refills on soda (I only glanced at the bill and saw $1.95x2 which I assumed was my soda.) Rip off!!! Next time I'll make a note and nurse it a bit longer! Definitely check it out. Seating might be hard to come by if you're in a big group or if you show up during the rush, but worth it for tasty diner breakfast.

Sadly, this place has went down hill. I think the down turn in the economy and the construction took a toll. The service? I have to agree with some of the posters. Crabby waitress, looks like she hates her life. Breakfast, is it so hard to make scrambled eggs? Rubbery and cold (the kitchen was 20 ft from me). Sausages are about the cheapest they could buy. I watched people try to flag down someone for a coffee refill... unsuccessfully. About the only thing thst happens fast, is you get your check and the feeling is "leave"... Its sad, because 8-10 years ago, I considered it one of the best breakfasts around.

I gave Maggie's two chances. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. First, there is no "service." The waitress scowls at everyone who walks in the door. No "Hello" when she greets you. Just pulls out notepad and scowls you down until you just start ordering. As for dinner: the croutons were inedible. Made from the same bread as everything else, but so hard you could break a tooth. Had to pick each one off the salad. Iceberg lettuce salad. Asked for balsamic dressing...waitress didn't know what that was, so obviously, they didn't have it. French toast is made from same bread as garlic bread (it's all just buttered toast basically, except one has syrup on it). Ordered the eggs and hashbrowns with dry toast. Toast came loaded with butter. Hashbrowns came out 10 minutes after my eggs. (Weird). Hubby ordered lasagna. He said he thought it was the Stauffer's frozen lasagna. It was loaded with so much cheese, he had to pull half of it off. As for the breakfast: Received more scowls. Felt like waitress was mad we were in the restaurant. I don't know how this place stays in business. Ordered "extra crispy bacon" (it's the only way my son will eat it). Came out barely cooked and limp. I asked if she could just pop it in the microwave (she did). Pancakes are flat and rubbery (not fluffy). The place seems very unfriendly towards kids too (no crayons or coloring pages) and scowls from the waitress. We won't be going back.

Stopped by this little spot on a Sunday afternoon. We were greeting promptly and given menus. They have quite the selection of different options. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive to us. I ordered "WBLT" which was a BLT with Walleye. It was decent. The fish was tad soggy but all in all pretty good. The place could use a once "all over" kind of cleaning, otherwise I was pleased with the overall experience. I would recommend grabbing on the of the seats away from the kitchen. It is an open kitchen and they were fairly busy so there was a lot of noise which I would expect from a kitchen! I could easily see this place being "the Saturday" place for breakfast. Reasonable prices.

THE best French toast in the country. Do you like the taste of French Toast? Great, then eat some here. You'll be in heaven. What's that you say? You don't like the taste of French Toast? Well then I got nothing to say to you my man cause your mouth is broken. Get that shit fixed and come enjoy some Maggie's.

Went for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning. Waitress was attentive, food came quickly and was delicious!

food is always good, but they have horrible service. keeps getting worse!! I really think the one waitress despises her job. We sat at a dirty booth for 15 mins before someone even acknowledged we were there.

Maggie's pizza may be the best pizza I've ever had. Their thin crust sausage and onion pizza is excellent. The onions are super sweet and they use just the right amount of ingredients.

The food here is always great! Breakfast lunch or dinner, the menu is big and has something to please everyone. Breakfast-don't skip the hash and french, it's amazing. Lunch- they have a great Ruben, club supreme and if they have the Cuban as a special go for it. Dinner- you can't go wrong with any of the pizza or italian dinners. The garlic toast that accompanies the meals is the best. Down home feel in beautiful small town. Not pretentious and very affordable.

I've been going to Maggies for over 20 years. The best, THE BEST, french toast on the planet. Order the Maggie's Delight and you'll be a happy camper.

They have a ridiculous amount of options on their menu. The service was decent, our drinks were very strong, especially the Mountain Dew. My life coach should have been cut off after his fourth dew. Between the man making airplane noises with his fork and rob who was extremely loud on the phone to the tables next to us, the food was incredible. Call me if you have anymore questions! I would welcome the opportunity to discuss further. 612-501-6864.

4 stars for what it is: a diner. I only deducted 1 star because my eggs were a LITTLE overcooked, it seems a LITTLE expensive and the server took a LITTLE too long to greet us. We visited on a busy Sunday morning, but had no time sitting down at a booth. The atmosphere is what you would expect in a diner in an affluent suburb and the staff was friendly. My girl had the crab Benedict (eggs benedict with a crab cake instead of the Canadian bacon) and I had the Maggie's special which was 2 eggs over easy, ham, hash browns and two pieces of French toast. The French toast was delicious, the eggs were slightly overcooked and the ham and hash browns were good but unremarkable...just typical frozen supermarket stuff. The crab Benedict was good too with perfectly poached eggs and a tasty, albeit, reconstituted hollandaise. The crab cake was, again, what you would expect for $11 in a diner - more breading than crab - but the meat was sweet and tasty and overall the dish was a winner. All told, about $32 with tip which seems like a lot to me but maybe I'm just behind the times. We will definitely go back though, by all accounts the pizza is quite legendary and we must try - the pies we saw coming out of the kitchen as we were leaving looked delicious!

The pizza is AMAZING!! Didn't even know they had breakfast until a friend took me and it was soooo yummy!! Love this place!

A classic American diner. I went here one morning and got a breakfast containing eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. This is pretty much the standard breakfast for me. The hash browns were done to perfection, and the toast - mmm the toast. I don't know if it was brioche or not, but man is it delicious. Nice town, nice place, ohh plus you can check out the lake.

Straightforward family diner with a menu weighing towards Italian food. Founded in 1979, it typifies the competent but unexceptional comfort food popular with older residents and those who are less discerning. A good place to take kids. The "Deluxe Burger" was disappointing: a burger worse than I could make at home, anemic bacon and the "deluxe" meant lettuce, tomato and store-bought barbecue sauce. The cheese bread was okay, though their accompanying house tomato sauce is good. A chocolate malt was competent, but not as good as the one available at Snuffy's not too far away. Generally speaking, the portions are big and the prices aren't too high. The service is friendly, but as the servers are young it implies turn-over and explains the reviews that found previous servers lacking. The one word that summarizes the entire experience is "generic". Once was enough for me.

this place is great. the tomato bisque soup is great with some grill cheese... their pizza is super good as well. the waitstaff has been lacking at times i will admit but the food more than makes up for that. i have never left there hungry or feeling disappointed in the food.

Maggie's is an icon of Wayzata life. It is one of those places that helps define a community. They are always friendly, the food is consistently outstanding and you will walk out satisfied that your meal was a true value. When you are in Wayzata, regardless of whether it is morning, noon or night you will find an inviting table or booth waiting for you at Maggie's.

We frequently enjoy Maggies pizza using their fine delivery service. My wife loves the thin crust (for me it's OK). I just discovered yesterday that they have a really excellent hand tossed (that my wife finds just OK - she's really a thin crust fan). They also have a house-special deep dish that matches Marcello's/Angeno's with the ups and downs of perfect/undercooked/overcooked. But when they're perfect, they're unbeatable. Pleasant drivers that don't mash the pizza to one side. Oh - they also deliver a full menu of burgers, chicken, fries, and Italian. Try, enjoy, be a regular.
