Very good food. Took a bit for it to be served but the fact that it was good made it worth the wait. As for the decorum... The actually bar it self is rather dingy and overly smells of old alcohol. The patio is nice though.

Great local's bar that happens to be in the burbs. Best bar food in the western burbs! Their expansion has added to the good times with outdoor music and a rooftop deck. Lots of locals, don't be afraid to come on in, most everyone casual and fun from staff to patrons. Also a great pit stop when out crushing on your motorcycle. They surfaced the parking lot so you don't have to worry about your "baby" tipping over. Check out their website for bands, they keep it current.

It can be fun but it's just too much of a Country hick bar for me. The only thing I really like about the place is their outdoor patio where they have a cool little tiki bar. In the wintertime, this place is full of gross people inside and it gets really sweaty and packed. Just not my scene.

Food is whatever. Service is bull. They wouldn't serve us water. They made paying customers go order ice water at the bar. Get it together people. If i have to get my own stuff, you don't deserve a tip. Plus, they got my order wrong. All I asked was no bacon on my soup and it came with bacon all over it.

Love sitting out on the patio with the Live Music! They don't have servers that come to your table, though, which results in having to go wait in-line at the bar to get drinks. They will take your food order at the table, and ours has turned out great every time. It's just strange not having a server to ask for things (i.e., ketchup, extra mayo, etc). The turkey club is amazing- definitely would recommend getting that!! Also, their weekender bloody is delicious! Have fun at Floyd's!

So impressed by this place! Pulled up on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy, but no problem finding a table. Sever came over quickly and was attentive, prompt, and pleasant throughout. Cool decor and feel, unique. Lots of choices for anyone on the menu and very reasonable prices. I got the grains and greens salad--was amazing and huge! Pork was excellent. My husband had the beef gyro with onion petals--he was very pleased as well. There was a band setting up, but left before they started. We will definitely be back ASAP!!

They ask for cover charge of 5$ and don't deliver. They also ask you to ask to open a tab! Even if you'd already paid for your drinks at the bar. I'll admit we were the youngest here though. So if you are 40 and above you might like this place otherwise it's just inconvenience. And the food is fresh but average at best.

I am a summer floyds fan. Who knew a biker bar could have a carribean feel. They are not far off, the, lrt trail which goes into downtown victoria, so,we rode bikes. We parked with the harleys :) sitting outside is great! Totally satisfying bar food and good happy hour. Live music. Generally a cover unless, you get thwr a,b opp t over an hour before they bwgin, but its a small vover and worth it for the music.

During the summer, there is no better place to spend a Saturday afternoon than casually enjoying a refreshing beer while chilling on Floyd's patio and listening to some live tunes. Floyd's is the oddest bar I've been to but the people watching is fantastic and it's always promises to be a good time. It's part dive bar, part Caribbean beach bar and a melting pot of people. It attracts everything from bachelorette and birthdays parties to golfers who just got done playing at Deer Run to Harley Davidson riders and everything in between. The music is almost always great and somehow this weird group of people comes together every Friday and Saturday night to have a great time. The food is pretty standard bar food but their burgers are enormous and delicious! They have a decent selection of rotating taps and 2 for 1 happy hour most nights, including Fridays. I highly recommend the place and for those who have a little too much fun, they have cab service to take you home at the end of the night.

When I make plans to go to Floyd's, my friends always look at me like a crazy person when I tell them it's in Victoria. However, everyone that I've taken to Floyd's has become a convert. I attended a nearby high school and many of our teachers would have whispered conversations about meeting up at Floyd's after classes on Fridays. So all of us of course were very curious about it and made it our mission to become regulars at this mystical place during Christmas breaks and summers when we were all home from college. I've been going to Floyd's for years now. Floyd's never fails to disappoint. It's a "townie" bar for sure, and you will see your share of grizzled Victoria locals, but there are a fair amount of younger people that come in on a regular basis as well. Floyd's is also frequented by affluent suburban moms and dads who want to escape their subdivisions for a night. This combination of folks makes for great people watching. There are two bars where you can get cheap drinks, and during warmer weather they open the patio with a separate bar and stage for local bands. Very nice place to sit out and enjoy the warm weather. One thing to note is that often on weekend nights you will have to pay a $3-5 cover, which I must admit is a little absurd in Victoria, Minnesota. This place is never not packed to the gills. If you like to listen to music, sing some karaoke, and enjoy cheap drinks in small town MN, Floyd's is for you.

My review from last Friday of Floyd's in Victoria. So I have been to Floyd's a few times before and it was where My Gal and I had our first date, so I might be a biased. But what the heck this is my review. Floyd's has one of the best patios in the metro area. You have to love the roll up garage doors that leads from the patio to the bar. One complaint would that they didn't seem to have waitresses taking orders and I needed to go to the bar to place my drink and food orders. They do have staff going around that delivers your food and picks up empty glasses. The prices are reasonable and live music on the patio is definitely a plus. I give the Elliot Blaufuss Band 3.5 stars. They were a Southern Rock/Reggie band with an underlining 70's Lounge Lizard theme going on. My Gal had a few girl fiends join us, and after a while we moved inside to play a few rounds of pool. No one bothered us or hit on the Girls. I wish there were more places like Floyd's I give them 4 out of 5 stars. Heck yea I'm a Fan!

this place is a nice diamond in the rough for the western Suburbs. Really wish this bar was closer to Eden Prairie as I would be a regular there for sure. The Back patio is pretty bomb, I was only there for lunch but it was filled with people from all walks of life. Nice group of Harley riders, group of rowdy fisherman at the bar talking about the one that got away, few older couples, few younger couples enjoying the weather and of course a few uppity wankers trying to impress their dates by ordering "A big glass of ice, with some Red Bull and some vodka in it". It's called a Red Bull Vodka pal or a RBV for short,. Food was Damn good. Had a Pepperjack and Avacado Burger which was delicious and well sized to boot. Everything else that came out of the kitchen looked really tasty and smelled great. Beer selection was so-so. The choices fit right in with their Island/Tropical theme; Skinny Dip, Summer Shandy and Summerfest, along with some Summit and the normal Big Brewery Swill. Great place to hit up if you're looking to get out of the city , I'm guessing this place gets pretty crazy at night especially on weekends. The wait staff was prompt and courteous, not to mention Easy on the eyes. Would definitely go back.

Went to see a friend's band play there. Wasn't sure what to expect. Well, that's a lie, I was expecting a little town bar, with a few townies and an amusing scenery. I was actually surprised, that the place looked "normal" with a normal crowd, and that there was a crowd. It was a very nice atmosphere and a very nice place to hang out on a Friday night. I think I'd actually go there again, to hang out. I stepped outside with a friend when he went out for a smoke, and the outdoor area seemed very nice. I think it would definitely be a fun place to hang out in the summer.

Ahhh... This place takes me back to my college days, it's definitely a bar don't get it wrong and think it's a bar restaurant, they have GREAT food but it is a bar so you'll be sitting in a bar when you go. That being said the food is fantastic (get the cheese curds). They have a surprisingly large menu and some really cool items. Also, some really good beer's which I was surprised about for a suburban bar. Their patio is also pretty cool, reggae themed!

There is no getting around the fact that I am a city girl. I live, work and play within the confines of MSP, only venturing out to the suburbs for a trip to my parents, to hit up Lake Minnetonka or to go out on the boat in Stillwater. So I was reluctant to drive an hour - AN HOUR - to Floyd's last weekend for a birthday party. But man, am I happy that I went! This little local spot is absolutely adorable. The laid back, tiki bar feel outside on the patio is great. Staff is super friendly. They have live music and there's a great mix of people to talk to - although everyone seems to know each other, which kind of threw me off. Definitely a fun place to break up the usual weekend schedge and see some new faces, grab some cheap drinks and kick back.

We are from out of town and stopped here after reading other Yelp reviews. We ate lunch on the patio. It seems as though all out door dining has now become the "smoking section" of restaurants and this was no different. Our options are to eat inside on a beautiful summer afternoon or put up with the smoke. We chose the latter. Annoying, but again, our decision. The service was fine and the beer tasted good. We shared a half pound burger with fries. The burger had a good flavor and the fries were crispy. When our bill arrived I was surprised to see that they charged $1.50 to split our burger. That was not mentioned by the waitress when we ordered. For a buck and a half I could cut my own burger in half. We didn't even dirty another plate as the burger comes in a plastic basket with disposable paper. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of. Still a nice place for lunch.

Floyd's is one of my best finds yet! I recently moved to the west burbs and would drive by Floyd's every day, thinking it looked like your typical small townie bar. Some friends in the area said we have to check it out, so we did, didn't take much convincing because if there is beer and food, we are in. It is a very modest place inside and out, but they have a great outdoor patio/bar area for when we occasionally have spring or summer here in the frozen tundra. Friday and Saturday nights get hopping because of the live bands. The age of the crowd varies from night to night but it can be anyone from 21 to 61 and they all have a good time. The food is what makes Floyd's a gem. I was expecting your typical bar food, wings and onion rings, anything else deep fried and nothing gluten free, BUT boy was I wrong! They have awesome options for us celiacs or even the annoying trendy GF people that don't have the allergy, no offense, but being a real Celiac these people annoy me...anyhoo, all their sandwiches are excellent on Udi's bread. The tacos and salads are great too. We have had probably almost one of everything on the menu now that we frequent there. AND they have Omission beer which is awesome! I am looking forward to summer on the patio! Hopefully it warms up soon!

Great live entertainment on the weekends. Burgers were better before they changed their buns. Expect to pay a $5 cover charge every night on the weekend.

Can't comment on the food, but service was terrible. I was completely ignored after being seated, even after making eye-contact with the server at the tables near mine. Not like they were busy... This was on a Sunday, hours before dinner rush. I eventually left and went somewhere that I was not apparently invisible.

Think: unpretentious, island bar. Decent food, decent music, laid-back atmosphere. No, it's not in the Twin Cities metro, but you don't want it to be! Pro tip: order everything (food and all rounds of drinks) at the bar when you're outside on the patio.

I wasn't impressed with the slow service, overpriced crawdads (Wed only), or chicken wings (which are supposed to be a specialty but don't compare to Runyons, Newsroom, or even Chammps). The servers were apologetic and mentioned having sent 3 of the 5 home early due to some rain moving through (thinking the patio would be empty) so I had to go to the bar to order. Servers were good and friendly, just not enough of them. I do like the more dive-y interior. The bar does appear to be transitioning from a biker/dive spot to a faux-hipster spot (a couple of the girls there for the live music were snookie-ish...and I do mean ISH and felt the need to rebel yell at the acoustic singer every few minutes and leave their smelly cig butts everywhere.

As a former Uptown/Northeast Dweller I expected very little of the nightlife when I moved out to Victoria to be with my fiance. However, Floyd's was the first place she took me and I was an instant fan. Year-round this place is a good hangout. Certainly the best in town. The thing that makes this place truly awesome though, is its gigantic tiki-themed patio. The patio is open In the spring/summer and features live music most nights. I'd never call this place cheap, but the tap selections are good and I haven't ordered anything off of the menu that I didn't like. Also, since it's a small town, the crowd at Floyd's really knows how to have a good time. If you live somewhat close-by and have a REALLY good time, you can use the dedicated "Floyd's Flyer" cab service. Captain Nate will get you home safely.

Best bar and grill in the Southwest Metro area! This place is designed for real people, with real appetites, that enjoy real beverages, and like listening to great music. The owners have done a great job keeping this corner bar a place that welcomes all kinds but doesn't try to be everything to everyone. This is not a place for most families or those offended by the commentary and tattoos worn by the "average Joe". Expect to hear the growl of beautiful motorcycles. Expect to see some fantastic art on the people sitting at the table next to you. Expect to enjoy great music on their "back alley" patio. Expect to enjoy your food and drinks. Expect to come back again and again!

Aahhh Floyd's. What a pleasant surprise you were a few weekends ago! The boys and I were on a Saturday "dude's night out" recently, and were barhopping our way from downtown Minneapolis back to (fellow yelper) Nate's place in Chaska. We decided to end the evening at Floyd's since two of us had never been. What a fun place! Floyd's struck me as a cool old school corner bar that decided to expand their space, and that's generally a good sign. I also noticed an impressive patio setup that had me longing for warmer weather, so we'll certainly be back for that. Service on a late Saturday night was prompt and friendly. Nothing out of the ordinary for the live music that night, and the crowd was a decent mix of people. However, they did hit us for a three dollar cover at the door. I should, but I won't criticize Floyd's too harshly for that. Overall, a decent first visit! The next morning while shaking off the haze, we decided to return to Floyd's for a proper bar breakfast. Nate spoke highly of Floyd's for breakfast, and he knows his stuff - so away we go. The breakfast menu has something for everyone who has decided to put faith in Floyd's for breakfast. I was impressed by the breakfast sandwich I had, and even more so by the side of spudbusters which also came highly recommended. The spudbuster is a deep -fried rolled cheezy jalapeno hashbrown served with ranch. I could have had an entire platter of spudbusters for breakfast - no joke, I'll go back just for those. WOW. Sitting at the bar watching the NFL pregame, we witnessed every breakfast order come out of the kitchen and everything looked awesome. The local crowd of Vikings fans were cool so we decided to watch the first half of the game, and graciously "boo" any Packers fans brave enough to wear their team colors. With the weekend evening and breakfast experience under my belt, I feel educated enough on Floyd's to confidently recommend that you visit and enjoy. The Floyd's website reads: "check us out once and you'll find a reason to come back again!" I absolutely agree with that statement, and I have a handful of reasons why I'll return to Floyd's.

Was here last Sunday morning with my daughter for breakfast . . . . loved it. I had the Biscuits&Gravy Bowl and Herman the German while my daughter had the Breakfast Tacos. Was simple and delicious with good size portions. Maybe wasn't the best place for my 14 yr old, but still a fun atmosphere.

Had a lunch there the other day and it was very good. Not a lot of weekday people so the service was fast and the food was good. The place had a little bit of a stale beer smell, but I call that a plus.

Take an old, kind of run down small town bar, add a big spike in the population surrounding the bar, change ownership to some people who clearly have a different take on the business, and you get Floyd's. During the summer, the back patio is fantastic. We saw Martin Zellar perform an acoustic show (he does this at least once a year; evidently he is friends with the owners) and the patio was like a south Pacific tiki bar. Great outdoor grill, themed food nights (the steak tacos were great), and pretty good beer selection (not just the big production American swill). Floyd's still attracts its old customers but you are just as likely to see a bunch of Chaska moms and dads out for a night as you are a biker or a farmer. It's basically west metro eclectic!

Ok I am usually anti partying in the suburbs, especialy if it is far away from my house, but my friend lives two blocks from this place. I imagine she was a regular at some point. So, after hitting up a few boring bars in Eden Prairie, we headed here knowing we could just stumble home. It was a lot of fun; with a live band and actually a fairly good mix of people. I don't know if it was due to my drunken state, but the pizza we ordered at the end of the night hit the spot. It was hot, cheesy and delicious. If I was a local I would be here all the time.

This place is awesome!!!! It is your typical small town bar with a great mix of customers. You've got people who own $4million dollar homes partying with people who are defaulting on their $400 rent -- all having a laid back good time with an amazing beer and liquor selection, THE BEST and friendliest bar staff, and fantastic music. The food is so much better than your run-o-the-mill bar food. Go for the breakfast BELT sandwich, or if you really have a Paul Bunyan sized appetite, get the taste-bud popping Herman the German - two sausage patties, two fried eggs, two full sized hash brown patties, two pieces of the full-fat american cheese, all on a so-fresh and so-soft grilled ciabatti roll. YUM!!! But I can only eat half of it whenever I get it -- ITS HUGE!!! I don't like Bloody Mary's but my friends who do, say this place's Sat/Sun bloodies are the best they've ever had. They're called a Floyd's Happy Meal because they come with zillion different things: stick of beef jerky, a stick of celery, a skewer of cheese, jumbo shrimp, garlic, pickle, and about 4 other different things and a side shooter of beer. Usually on Fri and Sat nights it has a small cover, so be ready for that, but the bands/music, the crowd, and the staff are more than worth it. I highly recommend this place.

We come for the Weekender, drool over the rest of their menu, but always get to full on the bloody to ever try anything else.

Great biker bar!! Great food!!! Fun place!! Summer fun!! Be sure to stop by.....
