Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Love Tino's! Wonderful neighborhood restaurant with excellent service and food! Pizza slices are massive. The restaurant is warm and cozy. Very friendly vibe.

Really small joint off the highway. With arguably the best Pot Roast sandwich in town! We always come away stuffed and with a smile on our face. Other selections such as the meatball sandwich, are pretty good too.

Pretty good NY style pizza. Stopped in on an early Sunday afternoon when the place was mostly empty. You order at the counter and they bring the pizza to your table. Very small one room dining area, which I would imagine could get crowded at lunchtime. The crust was good, although not quite as dense as true NY style pizza. Certainly didn't skimp on the toppings, with lots of cheese and tasty sausage. The mozzarella was of medium quality, which is the main reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars. Unfortunately looks like they did away with their 2 for 25$ deal on Sundays, but 20$ for a pizza seems average nowadays. Overall satisfied, would probably go again if I needed a pizza fix.

Have driven past this place many times, tonight was the first time we stopped in for dinner. They have about 10 tables, cozy place, mostly doing takeout. We ordered a pizza with sausage and pepperoni and cheese filled bread sticks. Loved the pizza crust. They only have one size pizza, and it's big, could have easily fed 5 people. Will definitely go back again.

It never sits well with me when I see other customers receive better service than me - what did I do wrong? The two young men working the counter were falling all over other customers with their courteous 'ma'ams' & 'sirs', yet not one of them looked me in the eye or said hello, thank you or goodbye. Ordered three slices (the works, saus & pepp) & was so preoccupied with getting the shorties fed, noticed halfway through the meal that I was given two cheese slices instead of the two meat slices I paid for. Will not return; however, the pizza is excellent & the dining room is delightful. With even mediocre service, this could have easily been a five star review & a regular customer.

Delicious food, very friendly staff, great service. I ordered pick-up and they gave me the wrong order, so I came back and they gave me the correct order, let me keep the two other pizzas and gave me a coupon for a free Stromboli! They know how to keep a customer happy and coming back for more.

Seriously good pizza in the west metro - Tino's does a lot of things right. A lightly charred, chewy crust, a tomato sauce that has flavor but is not overly doctored up, good choice of toppings. I would have been fine with less cheese (personal quirk) but it was not as overloaded with cheese as some places make. Big plus if you are going to pick up your order - a drive through! I bet, however that their 16 inch pizzas might not fit through some car windows. The Sunday night deal is a steal at $25 for two 16" two item pizzas. In an area that does not have a ton of choices (that aren't fast food chains) it is nice to have a good option for some solid pizza.

Great place -- pizza is above average (the crust elevates it, slightly charred). Although the slices can be a bit aged under the warmer if you arrive off-peak, they are still good and the price is right.

First time there, went because I used to love watching Tino as a soccer goalkeeper back in the day. Was in a hurry so I ordered a turkey pesto panini. Tasted great. The dining room made me feel like I was in Italy. Was cool to watch them make the food in the kitchen. Very clean overall. I am excited to return to try the pizza. Service was just ok, could have been a little friendlier.

Excellent pizza. A little pricey at $20 a pie, however, this is as close to New York style pizza as I've found in MN. Great deals for Sunday & Mondays- 2 lrg pizzas for $25.00. That's more than a fair bargain. Very friendly staff- I ordered at 1:30pm for a 5:15pm pick up; it was ready when I got there. Nice; as I believe the better part of MN lacks in customer service (ie. "we don't make your order until you arrive, in case you don't show up for the pick up"). Glad to see Tino's was on top of it. Can't wait to eat here again. Here's a great tip- take out pizza from Tino's and a picnic at the lakeside park in Excelsior. Tough to beat that.

Tino Lettieri former pro soccer player brought back great pizza from the "old country" (Italy). Some of the best quality ingredients you can find. If you're used to getting a big box of dough from Pizza Hut, you may think it's expensive; it's not, just order a slice inside. Limited seating and close proximity to Minnetonka HS can make it crowded. Take advantage of the drive through window, and keep trucking. Sunday and Monday is the best deal: 2 pies for $25.

One of the best slices to be found in the Western Metro. Big on cheese, heavy on the toppings, and full of sweet saucy flavor...it's a delight. I've pretty much only had pizza the times I have been here...but I hear they have killer Calzones. It feels pretty small inside the restaurant, and I imagine this place gets packed over school lunches when all the students descend upon the place. Many have left their senior portraits behind displayed under glass on the tables. It adds a family feel to the joint. Free cookies on Mondays. Big cookies. What's not to love about that?

This is an amazing place to its core. The pizza is clearly made there and not some mass produced crap. It is reminiscent of Andrea's pizza and Mama's pizza in minneapolis. The pizza has that home baked taste to it, the slices are large, and the prices are reasonable. I haven't tried their coffee drinks or their desserts but I plan to. I just got a pizza slice and soda combo and it came to under 6 dollars, it seemed like a fair price.

The Italian sausage pizza is phenomenal. The huge slices provide just enough food to make you full. Only downside is that it's a little spendy.

Great place to get a slice before or after the big game at Minnetonka. Wish they had even later hours as there are few pizza by the slice places in the suburbs. Small in size as far as the restaurant is but HUGE slices. Happy hour specials for slices and free cookie day make this place great!

My wife and I had a two for 1 coupon for Tino's and a glowing review from a friend. We checked out the website and it looked awesome. It is a lot smaller than I would expect from a restaurant, but quaint. There were a couple of pizzas waiting to be sliced up in the warmer and a nice clerk/server behind the counter. I knew I wanted the turkey pesto sandwich from the website and ordered the tots. I was expecting tater tots, but they were actually baby potatoes with rosemary and garlic. Pretty yummy, but I would have liked some tater tots. They just sounded good. My wife ordered the spaghetti with marinara. She spread an even slosh of oregano on them and the sauce was just the perfect amount of spicy. It came with garlic bread, which I really enjoyed. Very buttery, and fantastic. The turkey pesto sandwich was sooooo good. I am a huge fan of pesto and they put a generous portion on it with tomatoes and lettuce and a large amount of shredded turkey. They drizzled on a cream sauce that made the toasted creation perfect. There were 4 people when we got there and a family of 5 got in later and fed the whole family for $16. Not bad. We got water and with the coupon it was $7.50. Awesome place. On Sunday and Monday you can get 2 big (Awesome looking) pizzas for 25 bucks. We are going to definitely try a shrimp spinach pizza coming up. They looked so good! A great recommendation from a friend!

The slices are huge. The kind you have to fold in half to stuff in your face lest the thick layer of cheese and copious toppings peel away from the thin, but not too thin, crust and fall into your lap. I like that they have a drive-thru, which I use occasionally on my way home from work when I don't feel like cooking. The paninis don't really do anything for me, but the pizza is good, and I love their penne with rose sauce. Mondays mean free cookies, and who doesn't like a free cookie? (With purchase.)

This is where you end up when the chef of a not-so-good sushi restaurant recommends a pizza joint. Probably a good place to go if you are looking to make some high school age friends. Word

The patrons certainly average-out far younger than I, but it's two blocks from the high school, so I guess that's to be expected. This pizza rocks! Having grown up on the East coast, this is the neighborhood pizza that I am used to and had seriously missed since moving out to MN. It's spicy, but not hot and greasy (but in the good way) and it's the perfect texture - the slices are big and floppy and lend themselves nicely to folding. This is East coast pizza in my backyard - now if someone could just open a real diner...
