Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Awesome family owned business! Their pizza is top notch with a huge variety of options. They will always make you aware of a discount and you can customize them however you want! Definitely recommend!

The best pizza in Savage. This place is locally owned and operated. You will likely meet the owner when you pick up. The amount and quality of ingredients he has available is very impressive and makes all the difference. This is no Papa Murphy's.

Wow, definitely better than Papa Murphy's. The crust is delicious. I had the Sunset pizza on thin crust.

One of my favorite pizza places! We moved to Savage 7 years ago, and order Woodland pizzas at least 2 times/month. My favorite is The Avalanche (bacon and mashed potatoes... sounds weird, but trust me, it's AWESOME!)

I'm going to have to agree...best take n bake pizza I've had. Great ingredients as well as the crust. Tried two large pizzas as a newcomer to the place, the Grizzly Bear and the Jackpine Savage. Both delicious! My only complaint...could use bigger pieces of chicken or perhaps use rotisserie? Now that would be good!

I read these fantastic reviews and headed straight to Woodland to get mah pizzah! I thought it was good. fine. Not great, and definitely no better than Papa M's. The kids working were friendly & fast and CLEAN. I will go here just for the staff alone.

Best take and bake pizza available and lots of options with fresh ingredients. Ordered a pizza and informed the manager that we had an onion allergy and asked if we could substitute for green onions instead. When we came to pick up, they were chopping fresh green onions that they had just gone to the store to get, and apologizing for the delay. That is the type of of service that I will take the time to share a positive review on! We grab Woodland any time we have a pizza party, it's the best!

This is by far the best take & bake out there. The pizzas are fantastic and they have great specialty pizzas with a LOT of variety. The staff is always friendly and make you feel appreciated. They also have a lot of coupons availlble so hunt them down and get a deal.

I LOVE this place! It's also a take and back pizza place, but they also have sandwiches and other items. All the ingredients are very high quality - I especially like the green bell pepper rings! This tastes homemade, but better! It's a little pricey, but well worth it. It also has WAY more options that other places.

Forget that other Papa-so-and-so's Take N Bake, Woodland is the BEST I've ever had! Not only do they offer higher end pizza options, but their toppings and crust are flavorful and out of the norm. I would get pizza from here every day of the week and never become sick of pizza! Their staff is friendly, open to suggestions/revisions on any pizza. If you live in the area, this is a must have dinner location, and if you don't - take the drive!

Being gluten free it is always difficult to find a good pizza but thankfully I just discovered a place that has a good gf crust as well as amazing toppings. I am just sorry it took me so long to find Woodland as I was definitely missing out until today.

Staff is always friendly. Owner is always very engaging and talkative when he's there. Pizza is really good, if a bit greasy. It's a big pricey but there's always coupons around and, after a purchase, they always send a coupon for a free can of pop.

Affordable, awesome pizza. Love the crispy cracker crust and the amazing gourmet topping combinations. Great prices. Blows papa murphy's away in every category.
