I would by no means consider myself a thai food expert, but I enjoy pad thai and have ordered it before from many different places. I ordered take-out chicken pad thai for lunch today, and can say honestly it's probably the worst I've ever had. It was mostly flavorless, had very little chicken, almost no vegetables or crushed peanuts, and some very average noodles in a bland sauce. Normally I'm not this harsh, but this was really not good. There may be other menu items that are ok, but I won't be returning to find out.

The fresh spring rolls were just okay. The pad thai, however, was a mess. It was a gloppy mess of noodles, and there was very little else to it - almost no chicken, sprouts, etc.

I'll keep this short and sweet. It's not much to look at but this place serves large portions of delicious Thai food...oh and cheap!

i give this place 4 stars because every time i have been to the location the staff was friendly.. the spring rolls are amazing!! they also have a great bar selection. They have many events at Thai ginger.. The typical people who go to the event are Asian and you so see some Americans but not many. The drinks are strong and great 2 for one drink specials. We have never had a problem with the food served we have eaten here several times. The price for the food is ok.. Its a bit more expensive than your standard thai restaurant but i would say its worth checking out once.

Worst restaurant experience in a long time, maybe ever. Ambience horrible, junk piled in every corner. Service really lame. When we asked to have a booth cleared (they were all dirty) waiter said no, they didn't have time. When part of my order didn't come, waiter said he assumed I wanted it for take-out . Food not good. When I asked why the eggroll was cold, waiter said they were afraid of people burning their mouths if they were served hot. Not sure how much worse it could get.

Have stopped in a few times for pho, dine in and to-go. Both situations worked out well. Would have been five stars but my husband wasn't overly impressed with the spice to their "spicy" dishes. Will return! Also the amount of food that you receive is wonderful! I always bring home leftovers.

Wow! This place was something else. When we pulled up outside it looked like the place might be closed. The signage was badly sun bleached and almost unreadable. When we walked in the place was very dark. There were two doors from the entryway into the restaurant and we chose the door on the right. WRONG DOOR! We stepped into what looked like what used to be a bar/restaurant but now it was a family living area. There was a giant TV on the wall a family eating dinner and a baby playing on the floor next to a pile of toys and a playpen. We were kind of taken aback. We felt like we were in the wrong place. We looked around wondering if we should have used the door on the left. Finally a voice from out of the darkness said, "Table for two?" When we arrived at the table the first thing I noticed was how sticky the tabletop was. (pet peeve) The menu read like most thai menus. My wife ordered the Masaman Curry lunch special. I opted for traditional Thai country style red curry. Almost as soon as the waiter left our table he was back to let us know that they were out of Masaman. My wife chose the pad thai. My wife's food arrived within 10 to 15 minutes. Mine took longer. A lot longer. She was halfway done with her meal buy the time my sad-version-of-a-red-curry arrived. By this time I was famished and ate the dish without enjoyment. Not a $13 dish by any stretch. When we left the restaurant I turned to my wife and remarked, "Wow, what a sh#thole!"

One word... Terrible! The table was filthy, the bathrooms were disgusting, and the waitress was bothered that we were there at all. Rather than clearing our plates after the appetizer she suggested that we keep them for the entree too with the left over dipping sauce on them. Never once a - how was your meal or can I get you more water? I have no idea how they make their money but it is not with the "dine in" crowd!

I am very picky about my laab, this place nailed it! Even though I did take-out, the food was nicely presented and prepared quickly. I can't wait to go back for some more, and to try their other entrees!

This might be the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Honestly, I don't want to flame this place on the internet, but people should not waste their time. The sauce was not flavorful and the meat looked like the lowest possible quality. Skip this one and head to downtown STP for some better options. It's worth the price and time to not go here.

Ordered the "drunken noodles". The "fat" noodles were all clumped together into one giant, slimy, glutenous glob. When I poked them with a fork they sorta made a squishing/sucking sound like when you get your boots stuck in mud. The taste is basically all spice and maybe some soy. Won't be going back.

What a disappointment! I came here with a coworker and we ordered take out. I chose the sweet and sour chicken and was overwhelmingly disappointed. The chicken tasted as if it was preboiled and then just reheated in water downed sauce. When they packaged the food, they poured on the sauce and then dropped the freezer aisle style egg roll right on the sauce so that it went soggy. And when I say pour, I mean that the entire take out container was swimming in sauce. The flavor was also lacking- neither sour or sweet...almost as if they bought some sauce from the grocery store and diluted it down with water to stretch it out. Other person in my party chose the Pad Thai and said it was inedible- she ended up throwing it away and buying other food because of the grease and the strange flavor. Portions maybe huge but not worth it in the least...choose somewhere else if you're hungry!

Wanted to like this place....2 stars cause the server was nice. The spring rolls had old lettuce that was brown, the noodle salad with shrimp does not look or taste like the picture....and the beef dish was just weird. Won't be back.
