No doubt one of the best pizzas in the country. At least for me and I have been many places from Chicago to New York to Trimbo's in Butte, MT. Really though, for some reason the pizza has gotten even better lately and the delivery order issues others are rightfully stating seem to be gone or greatly improving. My last several delivery orders came perfectly in about an hour or so. I also have trouble not ordering any of their pastas. The homemade red sauce is something I would love to figure out how to make myself and I frequently add ravioli to my orders. White sauce is awesome as well. One of my favorite dates is to buy a six pack of New Castle at the local MGM right nearby and dine in at Ronnnally's. Yep, bring your own booze! I feel like I walked back in time into the best little hole in the wall ever to eat and drink at a real old time pizza joint. This place has no lack of charm so go try it, relax, and enjoy yourself far away from all the stale corporate chain options available. This feels like home somehow if you can still tap into that when eating and drinking out.

Reviewed Ronnally's in June, before they closed and reopened with new owners. Need to update as the change in ownership makes all the difference! Pizza crust was thin and crispy, with just the right amount of cheese. Friendly server and owner. Reasonable prices. Finally, a great pizza place in Woodbury! We will return for sure!

We have never had a bad experience here...food is fresh, hot and delicious....very friendly staff and a fun family atmosphere...or good for lunch or dinner with friends. They have been around for years!!

Used to be a regular, but eventually got tired of long waits and incorrect orders, so we quit going. Decided to try again tonite. Again a long wait, but with a new (wrong) ingredient on the pizza. Apparently, green pepper and pepperoni are interchangeable toppings. Bye, Ronnally's.

I love the pizza here. I would give this place a perfect score, however, delivery takes and hour and the pizza is pretty expensive. It is a luxury we reward ourselves with every now and then. But again, really great pizza!!!! Thin crust, tons of toppings and great sauce!

Saw somewhere (CityPages, I think) that Ronnally's was considered the best pizza in Woodbury. That simply has to mean that Woodbury pizza joints are HORRIBLE! Utterly unimpressed, and victimized by 12 hours of heartburn too. Ick. Just seeing the photo of the pizza as I type this review makes me nauseated.

This has to be the worst experience I ever had dining out in my life. The service was incredibly bad and slow. The waitress ignored us, and I had to get up out of my seat several times to get service. There were five of us, and the food arrived at all different times. The waitress again did not apologize or even bother to say how much longer it was going to be for those items that weren't ready. The child's sandwich off the children's menu was all bread and no filling and the bread roll it was on was far too big for a child's mouth. The chef's salad was unappetizing and inedible. Our bill was wrong and it took 30 minutes to get it figured out. The bill is hand-written and hard-to-follow. Tax is added to each individual item instead of to the subtotal of the food so it is hard to verify if you're being charged the right amount for an item. The mistakes that were made added 20% to our bill. There was no apology for the mistake; they were basically annoyed that they had to recalculate the bill. I am convinced that the overcharge was made on purpose. One error took place when the waitress charged one of the children's meals as an adult meal. When brought to her attention, she said that it wasn't on the child's menu. When I pointed out that it was one of only five items on the children's menu, she said that she didn't realize it was part of the chlidren's menu. Well, you tell me, how can a seasoned waitress who has worked there for many years, not know what is on the children's menu, especially when there are only five items? They also charge extra for refills on children's drinks even though they don't tell you when they automatically refill their drinks. Service was incredibly slow and absolutely no apologies for their mistakes - neither the waitress nor the manager. They made you feel like you were the problem. Unbelievable! I cannot understand how they are still in business. I can't remember having had such a bad experience in a restaurant and such indifference from everyone - starting with the waitress all the way to the manager.

No better pizza in Woodbury. I recommend dining in, but they do delivery.

The mostaccioli supreme and the meatball sandwich are huge but very tasty and very fresh. Its affordable considering how much food you get, which is a lot. The new owners are keeping the tradition alive.

Not a gourmet pizza by any means, but if you're looking for a local favorite, you won't find better than this hole-in-the-wall. My family has been going here for more than 30 years. The pizza is served cut into squares, the incredibly thick cheese oozing from the edges. You cannot eat it neatly. Thin crust, flavorful sauce. Pitchers of cheap beer finish the meal. The hand-lettered paper signs advertise theme nights - all-you-can-eat spaghetti on one weekday, a different pasta special on the other weekdays. I've never tried their pasta so I can't tell you how it is. I can just say this is a very Minnesotan place to go. You'll remember your dinner here, unlike all the chain restaurants that have sprawled over this suburb.

My wife and I enjoy pizza at Ronnally's at least once a month. Excellent sausage, sauerkraut, green pepper, mushroom and pepperoni pizza - cooked well done, cut into small pieces.

Huge fan of little hidden places no matter where they may be. Ronnally's operated right in front of me for quite some before I finally made it in. The decor set high expectations as the dark vinyl, dim lighting, prodigious use of wood paneling, and deep colored carpet all coalesced to yield an intriguing image. Service was prompt, the booths comfortable, and the menu fairly wide ranging but the prices immediately made my one eyebrow begin to disagree with gravity. We ordered, waited, and just about that time you begin to get irritated and start overtly glaring at anyone who enters your field of vision, the pizza and salad arrived. Presentation was decent and we started in and found the pizza to be acceptable. The cheese seemed a little chewy and flat, the sauce was sweet (which I like), but it was the crust that disappointed. It approach my palette with a cardboard like sensation and then reminded me, as I closed in on the edge, of the several paper notes I once consumed as a child. The kicker was the leftovers that were partially consumed and then tossed. Really good pizza would never know that indignity and my apparent indifference set the tone. Will try the other fare and report back when, and if, I find something worth discussing.

Old school pizza joint with great pizza. Atmosphere would suggest numerous deals have been made involving trash collection, union formation and who's gonna get wacked. The pizza matched the atmosphere--solid! Not a real plus for little kids, as the wait is often long and the seating is very limited. The wait staff is comprised mostly by "Flo" the prototype. She's amazing.

tried their delivery on a Sunday afternoon, getting a pizza and their pizza fries. 90 minutes after ordering, driver shows up at the door with a brown paper bag with red sauce dripping from the bag - it was the sauce for the pizza fries "it must have opened up in my car". No offer to replace the sauce, but when we opened up the pizza, all of the ingredients were off the pizza, like it had been carried on its edge Manager apologized, said they would remake everything and get it right out to us. 90 minutes later when I call to see where the food was, the guy on the phone would only say that they were closed - "we are closed" "no, I already placed the order, I just wanted to know how much longer it would be" "we are closed" even if it was good pizza, its not worth the hassle

Remember what diners did for the 50's? Well, restaurants like Ronnally's made the 80's, and not in the bad way in case you're worried. I'm one of those people who feeds my emotions with pizza and since yesterday sucked the big one, I lured my husband out of the house and into Ronnally's in search of new-to-us pizza. I won't lie, when we approached Ronnally's it was with a fair amount of trepidation because it has several things going against it. The obvious being that it's in Woodbury, a 'burb which I am a reluctant resident of and which is notorious for harboring bad restaurants and secondly because it's in an old strip mall. Skeevy! But once inside, Jack F. and I immediately calmed because we realized almost instantly that *this* was the kind of place we remembered from our youth. This was the kind of place our parents took us to for birthday parties. This was the kind of place we went with the team after a game of summer softball. This was the kind of place we went to with our high school sweeties. Since a large 1-topping pizza was the Monday night special at only $7.99 (it normally costs $16) we went that route. Pizza equation was as follows: thin crust + cubic ton of cheese + grease + liberal amounts of chunky red sauce = a sloppy, glorious mess. The next time I wake up hungover on a Sunday afternoon, I'm hitting up Ronnally's (as soon as the room stops spinning) for all-you-can-eat spaghetti which is the Sunday night special. They have specials running most nights of the week but that was the one that really piqued my interest, especially after I had the opportunity to taste the red sauce they pour liberally over everything. So, so good. We'll definitely be back. Oh. And speaking of the 80's, Ronnally's advertises local businesses on the old-school paper placemats (check out Kristina P's photo!) and apparently there is a *jazzercise* studio in Woodbury. I believe my exact words were, "No freakin' way!!! Jazzercise?!?" I want to go. That would be so totally tubular to the max.

Best Italian in Woodbury, and one of the best restaurants overall in Woodbury. Authentic and tasty with HUGE portions at a lowish price. Basically too good to be true. It's under new management who are really chill, it's BYOB now and next door to the liquor store which is awesome/convenient. The Pizza is really good, there's buttloads of toppings and a perfect crunchy thin crust. I also recommend the Dago sandwich, it's gigantic and has lots of sauce and gooey cheese.

This location refuses to honor pre-purchase voichers/certificates for the location that have already been purchased. A change in ownership was the excuse I was told, yet everything is the same, including the name and address of the establishment. The certificate for the restaurant clearly states that is does not expire, ever. I was the only customer in the restaurant and had to walk out after the apparent owner tried to bait and switch me and squeeze a few more dollars out of my mom and I. This guy cost his restaurant around twenty bucks, his waitress a large tip (the certificate guarantees an 18% tip I would've gladly paid and then some, just as in prior visits) and cost me an hour's worth of driving. After nearly two decades of going to this restaurant we will now never return. What a shame and waste for everyone involved.

Every time I go to Ronnally's, I am impressed with the quality and quantity of food. The Special pizza is so tasty. Salads are great too with homemade croutons. Pasta and sandwiches are really fresh and tasty with huge portions. And now they have a BYOB license! Pretty amazing deal in Woodbury.

I love this place, the best food and huge portions. This is the kind of place you see on diners drive ins and dives. Stay away from the chains and support this place for great food and service.

Have been coming here since the mid-80's and it's still as good as ever! Very nice staff willing to accommodate special requests. Italian Cheese Fry still our favorite! Highly recommend this classic, Woodbury establishment!

Couldn't deliver because the driver called in sick. One driver for all of Woodbury must mean this place is wildly unpopular or they have the most talented driver ever who is able to teleport directly to your door.
