Went here a while back, probably 4 months ago. I do not forget service. Or food I'm served. My fiance and I went for a later meal around 8 30ish we felt like we were being rushed the whole time. We both ordered a cappuccino, as it was cold. I ordered beef brisket over potatoes, the meat was not very good at all, bland and mushy. I set it aside and got another cappuccino, the workers acted upset at the fact that we were sitting more than 20 mins. It was snowing that day, we were really just wanting to stay warm for a bit. We paid and left saw that they closed at 9 30 that night on the way out. Regardless I was not appreciative of how we were pushed out. So we never went back.

We arrived there on a Saturday around 11 am. My husband was away for a week and we thought to go there for breakfast, since it advertised to be open all day for breakfast. The first thing of course we noticed, where the copper lanterns. But this was the only thing, we liked during the time we were there.l After waiting for some time for the coffee, we got only a lukewarm coffee. We overlooked that, since we waited for out food. We took the combo, eggs/hushbrowns/sausage. The eggs were stuck together and the potatoes a sticky and stale mush. Everyone said, that their food tasted stale. Instead of simmering the onions and the peppers, it was dropped like a cold relish on top of it. We left, hungry and a little wiser. Not to come back there anymore.

Coming back from Fargo it's easy to spot. We each had the fish sandwich, it was a generous size, on a big 'ol bun, that I had no interest in. Instead of fries I got a side salad, which the waitress fixed herself, off of the salad bar. I'll give her this, even though it's iceberg, it was all green, not large fillers of white crap. She was very nice. Unfortunately, it's more of a touristy chain type feel, not home cooking local. Note: just go a bit further, and you'll hit Culvers.

The service was fine but not the food. Pretty much all tasteless. One of us had steak and eggs and the steak looked like a White Castle patty (no offense to White Castle)

Good for breakfast. It's pretty basic with one of those everything and the kitchen sink as long as we can make it on a grill menus. Nothing wrong with the place, but it is a local version of a Denny's or a Perkins. I like the idea of supporting local and it beats the butt off of places like IHOP, but having eaten there once, I'm ok with not going back.
