***another items left off Harry S review, the employee at the counter that lectured us about interrupting her had her grandson running in and out of the kitchen area interrupting her as she cashed out customers also, the chicken in my triple decker club sandwich was ice cold, my daughters eggs were runny.

Not having Perkins at home brings out the best of what they excel at : breakfast & pancakes Service here has always been good / consistent ( you know what you will get ) . . . Same has been the Perkins brand of food - if you like Perkins, this one is a good standard to experience

Worst experience ever... Went there to have dinner with our daughter who attends Hamline.. We were seated in a booth near the kitchen entrance (even though there were several other booths open).. A few minutes after we get our meals, a family with two unruly kids were seated directly behind us.. One of the children was jumping up and down spitting over the seat at us and eventually wound up throwing a screaming fit right at my feet.. and the parent did absolutely nothing. I went to the front counter and asked that they be moved to another area as we were already trying to eat.. A few seconds later the employee at the counter comes over to me and proceeds to lecture me about interrupting her and asks if I would like to move.. Are you SERIOUS ?!!!! Pick up our meals and move ??!! when we were there first? Hell no... Finally they took 25 % off bill but at that point we were more than ready to leave. Tip ? Don't make me laugh.. We are up that way often, as our daughter attends Hamline and I assure you I will NEVER go to Perkins again... It's quite obvious this restaurant has no concern for customers.. Stay away from this place..

Do you ever wake up on the weekend and you are so hungry that you don't think you can wait long for breakfast or you'll become a hangry monster? Well thanks to Perkins I survived. I stopped at Perkins and was seated in under 10 minutes even though it was busy. The server was kind and quickly got me coffee, which I love how you get a pot of coffee here so that you can have as much as you want and don't have to wait. The waiter took my order right away and within 10 minutes I was enjoying chocolate chip pancakes. The pancakes were nice and warm and exactly what I was expecting. I really enjoyed the quick service not only because I was hungry but because I was eating alone too.Next time I'm craving breakfast food, but can't wait, I'll definitely stop here

Oh emm gee, I haven't been here in like 6 years! I used to come here after the nightclub back in the days. I feel old now everytime I stop by here. During the days, you will see either older folks or high school kids. But when midhnight hit, you will see a lot of drunk college students. Just becareful:) My friends and I decided to come here for deserts after having Chinese food across the street ( I don't think Chinese restaurant serve any deserts:)) I am not a big fan of their food cause they are just like any other regular food. The server was very nice and friendly to us. Enjoy.

Waiter was very helpful and nice, even though we only ordered pie and coffee and had the two kids along. He went above and beyond! As for the food, it's Perkins so I can't give them 5 stars, they are always a step below Bakers Square when it comes to pie.

Yeah... I really don't ever go to Perkins. The food tends to be bland and unremarkable, though the prices are OK and the atmosphere is comfortable enough. But this morning we were looking for non-breakfast food: it was 10:30 and the regular lunch places don't open till 11. So Perkins it was! We were greeted by a criminally perky waiter. He was very good at his job, but the fake radio DJ voice ("How are you folks DOIN' today?") was a little much for me. I had the Kickin' Chicken sandwich, which was passable. It wasn't really spicy per se; I suppose you could call it Minnesota Spicy. Just kind of mildly warm. The sweet potato fries were delish, though. We got pretty much what we expected. It's not the worst experience ever, it's just that usually I prefer to spend my limited dining-out budget elsewhere.

Perkins...........sometimes you just need Perkins. Nuff said. Plus free Wi-Fi

This place is great. Have you tried the pancakes? There's a reason that Perkins started marketing them on the shelves at local grocery stores. It's because they're awesome. Awesome. The downside to Perkins is that basically anything that you order off of the menu (aside from the salads) will likely clog your arteries for a few hours, but nothing a ride on the old treadmill can't fix right up. The staff at the Roseville location always seems to be friendly and accommodating. They switch up the menu more now than they used to, and that makes Bobby happy. If you have a craving for Perkins, make sure that you hit up this one and not the one on University. That is, unless you want to run the risk of a serial stabbing or being groped by a tranny in the men's washroom. But hey, if that's your thing, who am I to judge!

This Perkin's restaurant is like any other and the menu is the same. The place is clean, staff is friendly and courteous. Bathrooms were clean. Noise level was higher, but the place was full. We had breakfast, typical omelet, potatoes, etc. which was good. I thought the $9.50 price for the Farmers Omelet was a bit high for what you got though. I don't mind paying higher prices, but then give you your monies worth. The meat they added to the omelet was a strip of bacon and some finely diced up sausage meat. You could not taste the meat in the omelet as it was pretty scarce. We were visiting the area, so we probably will never stop in again. Oh well.

Breakfast with the grandkids, gotta love Saturday. Balloon lady made swords for all my grandboys. What fun for a Saturday, efficient service and Ok food, thanks Perkins.

Perkins food is the same pretty much wherever you go, so it's the atmosphere like Ian S. said which makes this place. I've gone here a couple times now after being out at the bars and it is a chill place to hang out with other young people and get some grub. No crazies hanging around, and if anybody gets rowdy there is a security guard at the entrance. A whole new atmosphere in the day hours, the busy brunch going crowd; but still a solid place to go for a good omelet and hash-browns.

This Perkins is not rated 4 for for the food, which is pretty horrible, but for the atmosphere and that it is one of the few relatively civilized places that you can go in the middle of the night underaged. Since the midway ones stopped being open 24 hours a day because of the maniacs that would come through, many of the people from the core of the cities come all the way out here after bars close and before to hang out with friends, study, and whatever else. The Saint Paul campus of the University of Minnesota is a couple miles down the road, some many of the agriculture and botany students may be found here at all hours.
