Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I came here because of their promotion. This location is in a strip mall so parking is horrible when you try to get in and out right away . I don't normally come here for that. I thought I would give it a try on their tofu. It tasted good but a little chewy almost like eating tiny pieces of crispy chicken. I couldn't taste the tofu. I finished it. When you arrive, it is pretty easy to order. You go up there and tell them what you want. There are choices of meat to choose from chicken, beef, tofu and other. Aside from that you could also add on some salsa, corns, beans, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, mild or hot sauce and an additional charge of guacamole. Of course I like to put everything in mine except beans, Yuck. After you order your meal you make payment at the register and it usually costs around 9 to 15 bucks depends on what you get. I don't really drink soda so I passed on that since the food already given me too much heartburn. After you get your order, you either could sit down and eat or take it home. Usually this place gets packed during lunch because the mall employees would come in for their 30 minutes break. I find the staff nice and fast. They are trying their best to keep up with the line so overall it was a good experience.

Terrible Chipotle location... there are too many others to waste time with this one. The place is dirty, the staff poorly trained, and I was rudely told that they NO LONGER SERVE LIMES. No limes? What?

By far the worse Chipotle service I ever experienced. I have attended this establishment several times and it seems to get worse every time. Majority of staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. Management never seems to be present; and when they are, they do not care about cleaniness or customer service. Have witnessed multiple food safety infractions while waiting in line. Staff eating in food prep area. Using their bare hands to prep food. Leaving the lid of the ice machine open for over an hour. Something needs to change here. They have lost my business.

Love chipotle but the line here is always way too long, even in the middle of the afternoon, and they are frequently out of products or ingredients.

Chipotle is my life! And this was one of the worst chipotles I have ever been to. Staff was unfriendly and did not listen to what I wanted on my burrito I had to repeat myself 3 times and she still wasn't paying attention, someone in line had to repeat it also! And they are so stringy with everything had nothing on my burrito! Never going back to this chipotle

Yup the worst chipotle I've ever been to. The TINIEST salad bowl amount I've ever seen or paid for at any Chipotle. When I complained, I was told that the bowls are only given 4ounces of meat. When I pointed out I had been to many and never served that small amount, she grudgingly counted out 4 more pieces of chicken. WHAT??? I've been served a larger salad on a plane. So this is what you get for $12 - a tiny salad bowl and drink... To make things even worse, this place was also FILTHY! The floors were sticky and there were flies all over the inside. This franchise doesn't deserve to be called a chipotle. Close it down!

They are great but very busy during lunch, dinner, and weekend. The place also very small compare to other location.

A good list of food options including the famous meatballs and seafood, and aha, unlimited lingoberry juice. All this under 10 bucks, how thrifty is that. By the way, there is a yogurt and hotdogs stand downstairs for a dollar and fifty apiece.

I LOVE Chipotle's food, but other locations in the area are much better at their jobs. My visit today is the third time in a row I've not been given chips after asking and paying for them. The first two times I had to remind them to give them to me after they tried to rush me off line, but this time I didn't notice and got home before I realized I didn't get any chips YET AGAIN. Great waste of two bucks. If I drove all the way back my food would be cold by the time I sorted it out. Just annoying. It's so simple to just grab something immediately after I ask for it, isn't it? I try to go to locations other than this one - the one on White Bear and 36 is far superior in terms of service.

Just stopped by for dinner! Was told they are completely out of rice and the beans will take 9 minutes! What is chiptole without rice and beans!

While I am not one to normally post, I feel I owe it to this one. As mall restaurants go, this one allows for quick service and fast turn around of clientele. This may lead to low supply of certain food. While waiting in line (which can be long during peak times) I noticed the staff apologizing for the wait on chicken - they had run out. BUT that does tell me the food was freshly prepared! Overall I say skip the processed burger joint and head here. It's worth the wait!

Made with love and sunshine! I haven't been to this location in a few months but I have yet to taste another Chipotle quite as good. The lines may be long but there's a reason for it, and nobody really waits longer than 15 minutes unless it is crazy busy, which is actually pretty often.

Out of the Chipolte locations I've frequented (Silver Lake, Grand Ave, White Bear and Rosedale) this one is definitely a higher ranking one in my book. I have had issues with consistency of service, but not when it comes to anything major. The food has always been fresh and hot, it's always been made quickly. The issues with consistency have mainly been size of portions (just right or just too big) or the cleanliness of the drink area. I'd never label this Chipolte un-clean or dirty, but it's definitely a high-traffic one and I think it can get out of hand at times and begin to look messy. The staff are always friendly and they always ask before doing - for example, they ask if you want fajita veggies on your veggie bowl before putting them on there. This is a simple thing that matters a lot to me because of allergies. Be prepared to wait in line if you come in around 12 noon or 5 pm - they get ridiculously busy! And ask about the Kid's menu - they have one but it's not on the board. It's a great little menu with selections for kids or even adults who are just looking for smaller portions with the same great Chipolte taste. Great money saver if you have kids, great calorie (and money) saver if you don't!

Holy long lunch lines batman...be prepared to wait and to fight for a table. Not good for work lunches as for long lines and no where to sit. Came with a group of 8 people and we all had to scrunch around one little table and these were big guys! Thanks to the pimply teenager next to us who wasn't even eating but sat at the table playing her gameboy while she watched us all suffer. I'll only be coming back here by myself on odd hours...Food's ok if you have the time to wait for it. Bonus I did get to see a middle aged portly man with a bright pink feather extension in his hair...there's a 1st time for everything!

For all you've been to us, a spicy food loving, one-kid-with-gluten-and casein-allergies-having family, and for your friendly, helpful service, I offer this: Our Chipotle, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Beans. Thy Carnitas come, Thy Barbacoa be nicely done, On rice as it is in heaven. Give us this day our flattened bread. And forgive us all our extras, As we forgive those who order extras ahead of us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from spillage. For thine is the adobo, and the cilantro, and the tomatillo, now and forever. Amen. copyright 2009 Alice Wernimont Bodnar

The servers are cheaper with portions. Stingy on meats and toppings. Not what I expect of Chipotle. Minimal seating as well. I will patronize other branches from now on.

Will not, likely return to this location! They were completely out of mild salsa (no tomatoes), the other salsas were mixed with sour cream and cheese (do not care to keep ingredients separate), the rice was very undercooked. And if you are stopping by just to go to Chipotle, the parking is horrible! Too many restaurants and a movie theater make this location difficult to manuever.
