I've eaten there over a dozen times since they opened and have noticed a slow decline in the quality of food. Started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer and it was good but the black bean and corn relish was to salty, a theme for the entire dinner. The salad which I got with the Blue Cheese dressing had canned black olives all over it. I'm sorry, unless you are getting a mediteranian salad, NO OLIVES, and the dressing was bland as usual, easily the most tasteless restaurant dressing available. For dinner I got the special. Say WHAT!!! Blackened shrimp and sausage on pasta, sounded good, but was anything but blackened, just steamed shrimp in a very salty sauce. The whole meal was just not worth the drive, the money or the time.

A descent place for food and drinks. I do miss the location/ view from the Minnetonka location. The Ahi Tuna salad and the Cobb salad were good, and the kids meals where kid approved. The drinks where excellent (read strong) and service was above average.

This is my Rogers hang out. Happy Hour Apps is where it's at! Great prices on great food and drinks on the HH menu (especially after 10) Their soups are homemade and also awesome. The bar area is busy practically every night of the week; a variety of free games (poker, bingo, etc). Crowd is diverse from young to old, locals to visitors. The bartenders are really cool! A couple of them have dropped me off at home on nights when I have had too much to drink. I have also eaten a few times in the dining area. Also mostly busy, but this area os more relaxed and quite. Good for conversation and families.

Never had a bad meal here. Great happy hour specials and fun atmosphere. I have been here over a 100 times and never disappointed.
(5)Rachelle L.
Don't miss the steak bites or tomato basil flat bread appetizers!
(5)Brian D.
This place is trying to be two things at once: 1) a great bar with lots of sports on all the time, and 2) a really nice restaurant; a few steps above the usual chain places like Friday's or Chili's. They offer a very comfortable dining room with a nice decor. It seems like many of the items on the menu are familiar American sit-down fare, but each has a unique taste or flair that makes it a step above average. The portion size is very generous, and the flavors are really interesting and varied--in a very good way. On the bar side, they offer really comfy booths as well as high-top stools and tables. The happy hour on weekdays is an excellent value (after 8pm). I specifically recommend the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream, as well as the indulgent carrot cake. Yum! There's no better place to eat in Rogers.

Great ambiance - local popular place but disappointing visit this time for us. Excellent drinks Waffle fries delicious Service average Steak ordered MR - sent back & came out M with server - no manager. Staff not very observant. Kinda disappointed steak overcooked & no manager delivered new steak & paid full price - disappointed bc 2 managers on duty.

Large menu selection. Loved the salmon and Asian chicken salads. Several beers on tap. Very cool patio outside the bar.

Casual attire. What you would wear to olive garden. Great atmosphere. Bar area and a sit down area. Cabin/lodge look and feel. Petty busy around dinner. Our buzzer was broken but luckily we were paying attention and didn't miss our table. We had an amazing waitress. Wish I could remember her name. Constant refills and gave us a sample of the dill pickle soup. She got a good tip. :) If you like dill and creamy soups you would like the dill pickle soup. We loved it. It was surprisingly better than the sausage dumpling. The buffalo chicken flatbread was delicious. Big pieces of buffalo chicken and blue cheese! I recommend! Good as an app for 3-4 or as a meal for 1-2. The walleye was ok. The breading wasn't as crispy as I like it. However with the walleye the pieces are huge. I should have got 1 piece instead of 2, you also get soup or salad and choice of potato with it. Walleye sandwhich had small bones - not cool! The steaks on special were ordered as MR but were a little on the rare side. I see another commenter had steak problems too. Still good though. Key lime pie wasn't as tart as we wanted. I suggest squeezing the lime piece on top for a little extra flavor. It was basically super smooth, somewhat limey cheesecake. Still good but slightly disappointing since the waitress hyped it up. Overall we would go again.

The food is amazing!!! I had the orange salmon dish and it was the best salmon I've ever had which is pretty impressive considering I can't even count all the times I've had it!!! My boyfriend got the buffalo pasta dish and OMG that blew our socks off too!!! So amazingly delicious but thankfully he's a runner cuz I wouldn't even want to try to count the calories in that dish, so good though!!! We also had the spicy green beans & the shrimp appetizer and wow they were both phenomenal, I think the shrimp was slightly more amazing but both awesome!!! We had awesome service and it's always a great ambiance too! They have great patio seating and a great happy hour too! Will definitely be back!!!
(5)Jen H.
A beautiful atmosphere inside and outside! Huge outdoor flames and giant TV makes the outside ambiance a hands-down choice. Inside, ask to be seated by the beautiful fireplace or enjoy the bar area with TVs. Great for a romantic date, girls night out, or family time. Absolutely order the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream! And the firecracker shrimp tacos are to die for!
(5)Bob P.
Excellent service and fun, in general, place to go. The seafood chowder was very good with huge pieces of smoked salmon. The halibut. ...wasnt my favorite but the firecracker shrimp tacos my buddy had looked tasty. Fun place...will probably go back if the opportunity presents itself.
(4)Rachel S.
Usually disappointed by the service and there is always a wait. Food quality is low and prices high. They try to make up for it with big portions but to me big portions of bad food doesn't make it better. The only reason I gave them three stars instead of two is because their Sunday buffet rocks. Make reservations in advance or prepare to wait a long time time in a cramped, poorly designed, pretty dirty space though.
(3)Derek E.
Went with a few friends and the staff was very rude and literally grabbed her card out of her hand because she took longer than .986 seconds to decided if she wanted a tab or not. Wasn't offered food and had to ask for drink orders.
(1)Lisa K.
Went to Maynard's in Rogers with my kids (17m and 3), husband and in laws. We had the best server ever. She was very patient with my kids and everything came out just as we ordered it. Restaurant was very clean, bathrooms clean and food was delicious. Great happy hour specials and drink specials. We plan on being back very soon.

The Sunday brunch is fab. Otherwise, stay away. They do have booze: beer, vin ordinaire, and the hard stuff. But no grappa! It's a great location, right next to an interstate for a fast getaway. If there's no buffet, then settle for a burger, because even the most mediocre chef can cook ground beef. It's not a franchise restaurant but it could be. (Is that praise or not?) Anyway, bottom line: try it if you live in Rogers. Otherwise, to hell with it.
(3)Dustin D.
NONE of the buffet food was covered! Not even a sneeze shield or anything it's all wide open in the middle of the place in high traffic area which frankly to me is gross. Went for Sunday brunch, the place was an absolute zoo. People standing everywhere around around the bar not moving makes it hard to even bring a plate back from the buffet. The buffet itself was average, some of the stuff was good but nothing to die for after all it is a buffet. The bar is very nice, lots of big HDTV's going which makes for a great atmosphere if you are into that kinda thing. This is the kinda place I would go hang out for a beer with some friends vs actually planning a dinner at. The buffet could be layed out much better and for god sakes cover the food up. People are nasty and if someone coughs or sneezes it's all over with. Not saying other buffets in general are the most clenly by any means but putting anything up would be better than nothing.
(2)Holly H.
Great local restaurant! Good Happy Hour and Sunday Brunch. Looking for a real treat? Lobster Mac & Cheese! Yum!!! Looking for something a little healthier? Try the Skinny Chicken or the Low Carb Burger!
(4)David M.
Always great food and service. I haven't ever had a menu item that I was disappointed with. The bar area is great for watching sports and having a beer. Their tap list has a good variety and has probably 25+ beers on tap. My only complaint is that the lunch menu items are priced to include chips with the entree and not fries. You have to pay an additional $1.50 for the waffle fries...thankfully they are very good.
(4)Bruce B.
Loud but service good. Food portions a bit small for the price but good quality. Good for groups but call ahead
(3)Jack M.
I love their stuffed mushrooms and martinis. Bar crowd can get a little loud if you're looking for a nice place to out for dinner it kind of ruins the experience. Otherwise ambiance is very nice. Service is hit or miss, you either get an enthusiastic host and awesome server or an absent minded host and a snotty server.
(3)Mark P.
Went there for dinner on a Friday evening. The tap list is quite disappointing, as that's the first thing I look at when I go out to eat. I love to try new beers but that was definitely out of the question with their selection. They did have Surly Furious so I ordered that. I had the 16oz ribeye with potatoes. The salad was iceberg lettuce, a few cherry tomatoes, and a cup of dressing - something I would make at home for lunch. The steak was decent, but the potatoes were dry and there wasn't a whole lot to them. It wasn't bad food, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.
(3)Karen S.
My husband and I went out for dinner and really enjoyed our experience there. The food was really yummy. My husband had a Pastrami on Rye sandwich which he thought was really good. I had the fish tacos which were excellent. We both had leftovers. The service was great too. We will definitely be going back.

Not impressed. After reading some Yelp reviews, the whole family voted to go there today for the Sunday buffet on our daughter's birthday, prior to a movie across the street. We dragged along Grandpa & Grandma who were visiting from up-north. Our daughter wasn't too happy. Grandpa and Grandma weren't impressed either. If you can't impress a 12 year old and a couple of seniors who are used to eating out in Deer River, Minnesota, you aren't doing something right. The buffet was okay, nothing special. It was a bit lackluster. It doesn't even come close to the Sarna's Sunday buffet (Columbia Heights) that we're used to. (The Sarna's buffet is WAY better AND cheaper.) I guess we're spoiled. The salad bar "cold" section was pretty lame. The hash browns were dry and dead. I wanted some sort of egg but the one egg selection on the line (scrambled eggs), were rubbery and gross. Other than salmon, the meat selection sucked. I really wanted to try a custom omelet but the omelet dude was always packed with waiting patrons, and it was the only part of the buffet that wasn't easy to get to. I figured they couldn't mess up an omelet but it wasn't worth the wait. The waitress was nice but forgot a couple of our drinks. The desert scene was pretty lame too. They bring you a desert. They're good but SUPER small portions. We actually involuntarily laughed when she brought them to our table. My daughter's birthday cheesecake had ice crystals in it. Really? I expect better at this price range. The only thing they were really good at was taking away the dirty plates. The decor was nice. There's nothing here that would give us a reason to go back. -Daddy Maxx Retro

Ate lunch here as partial business/personal meeting. Waitress was very respectful of our conversation and provided great service.

Stopped for lunch on a Saturday. Restaurant about half full. Waited a long time to be seated. Good took forever. Food was ok. Nice TV options in bar area.
(2)Dennis M.
Good choices and quality
(4)Sheila J.
I would not return, had reservations for 7 pm, our table was not ready. they allowed 5 people to be seated before our reservations, finally we were seated in the bar area table top. Service sucked, food was meh.
(1)Anthony V.
We went there as a family for lunch. The decor and atmosphere were close to high-end, but we all thought the food was average at best for the price. It would be a nice place to take a date or to have drinks with friends, but for family dining, it was really spendy without any real value. We'd likely go elsewhere as a family, especially if we didn't want to blow a lot of money on ordinary fare.
(2)Jack F.
I can't remember which review was bragging about the Nachos but now I'm hooked! Nachos can be anywhere from average to lame but these are some of the best anywhere. Customize to your taste cause the "fixings" are all there separately... Build your own favorite combo and enjoy with one of the 20+ beers on tap.
(4)Nichole B.
I really enjoy coming to this restaurant after catching a movie at the Rogers 18 Theater. (You get a free drink if you show them your movie ticket!) I LOVE their nachos. Seriously. They don't come in a ridiculous mountain; you know what I am talking about. That mound of nachos that towers high, deceptively "loaded" one the outside, but the inside is nothing but a wasteland of sad, bare chips. No sir, not here. They bring you out a plate with chips laid out individually, each piled with a delicious assortment of nacho goodness. That is the way it should be everywhere, darn it! As far as actual food goes, I always get the buffalo chicken wrap and waffle fries. They are both just so good. The wrap has the perfect amount of heat, and who does't love waffle fries?!? Crazy people, that's who. My favorite day to visit is Sunday. They have a kickass brunch every Sunday from 10am to 2pm. Be warned, it gets a little crowded. I recommend getting there early.
(4)Jay H.
Awesome restaurant - love the food and service is great - Always a great place for a date!
(5)J K.
I enjoyed the Asian chicken salad with the slightly spicy ginger dressing. Hubby had the prime rib sandwich which was great - tender and flavorful. Cheese curds were a little different than what I expected - more like fried mozzarella but yummy. Good happy hour offerings.
(4)D J.
New to the area, we're trying out local restaurants, and this one is definitely one we'll revisit regularly. We've enjoyed the Sunday brunch twice, and it is very good. Friendly service, good food, and no waiting when we got there before noon. The food is very good, many of the dishes are exceptional for a buffet. The decor and atmosphere are quite comfortable. Not too fancy or dressy, but not too casual either. I'm looking forward to trying the lunch and dinner menus.
(4)Andy D.
I've been to Maynards a handful of times, not once have I had a great experience. Food is average at best, service is slow and rarely friendly. The only decent experience I've had has been in the bar - skip the dining room. The place is great if you just want to grab a drink, watch the game and hang with friends. However, the dining experience leaves much to be desired.
(2)Joseph L.
Nice place. Visiting friends in Rogers and this is where we decided to have dinner. The food was decent but our server Dawn was amazing. Personallity, speediness, humor, and attention to detail. The chicken wings were less than desirable but Dawn took care of it and sent a manager over to get my opinion on the wings because they were"trying out" and few different wing options from their distributor. If you go to Maynard's make sure you ask to be in Dawn's section. She will not disappoint. Restaurant gets 3 stars but Dawn gets 5
(3)Abby W.
Love this place! There is truly something on the menu for any appetite. The atmosphere is relaxing and the large space is sufficient for the crowd that typically occupies it. I have yet to be disappointed with a meal. As a buffalo chicken lover, the chicken has a great crisp and the buffalo sauce exceeds par. The waffle fries are also great!
(5)Jennifer Y.
I'll have to say that this place is just so-so. Their food is good but surprisingly expensive. If you're in the mood for an appetizer, they have really good waffle fries & seasoned sour cream! Wednesday nights is Bargo (Bingo) night. It's free to play & the jackpot can get fairly high (up to $500).
(3)Nancee N.
This is one of the few.....as close to gourmet...as you're going to get in Rogers. They often have steak dinner & seafood specials which are always tasty. I've never been disappointed with my food here and I always have leftovers. This place is not cheap but the quality does hold for the price. I'd say an entree with a cocktail will put you at $25-35 pp. The atmosphere is a fancy sports barsy place on one side and a nice booth & table with contemporary decor on the other. Note: this place is pretty loud, especially in the evenings. Staff has always been accommodating and prompt. Happy hour is not the cheapest but the food they offer on the HH menu is above par for the area. In the summer enjoy the beautiful patio. (and the smokers surrounding you. can you tell I just quit?, no offense)
(4)Katey S.
We got into the area late at night and had two things on our mind: food, then sleep. Since it was past 10pm, we weren't sure what was still open. A few pizza places didn't deliver, and we weren't willing to leave the comfort of our hotel room to go pick up. Turns out, we had to leave to get food that late, but we picked up food from Maynards and it was better than pizza would have been. An ample menu, though mostly of sandwiches and burgers versus entrees. A garlic burger, a Cuban sandwich (both with waffle fries for about $1.50 extra), and an order of wings was more than enough food for two starving people. The order was correct, the food was good, and we slept happily afterwards with full bellies.
(4)Paul M.
I've had dinner here about 7-8 times and have really enjoyed their food. I would definitely rate it as more of an upper-class experience. A bit pricey (as we have 5 kids), so we enjoy the kids-eat-free evening. My personal favorite is the Tortellini -- pasta to die for! I went once for the Sunday breakfast buffet and it was delicious - highly recommended.
(4)Ron R.
Good food, good service and good prices. I was going to go with a comfortable meal like pot roast but then I saw the Cuban sandwich. I've never had anything like if before and it was really good. Pulled pork, ham, sliced pickles, mushrooms and Swiss cheese on ciabatta bread. Wow.
(5)CM B.
I go here with my wife and occasionally with friends of ours. We never do dining room, and by how packed the bar seating is, I know we aren't alone on that preference. Service is very good, bar staff is experience and some have been here for nearly as long as it's been open. Huge assortment of beers on tap. Drinks are competitively priced. We normally try to come in for happy hour specials which are excellent! All the apps are fantastic! Often that's about all we can eat and walk out under $30 total bill. Not a bad date night for the price!
(5)Tammy V.
This is a good place to grab a bite to eat! My hubby and I have tried a few differant things here and have been happy with all. I LOVE their chop salad!!! I will say that the parking SUCKS ... most times we have gone the lot is full and we have to park in a adjacent lot!!! They also do a Monday night kids special... Kids eat free with a paid adult however, this does not apply if u order a special and they don't tell u until the bill comes!!!
(3)Michele M.
Spent a wonderful evening at Maynard's last night with friends - we had not been there in a while. The food was very good, as usual - our table had nachos, flat bread pizza and fish taco wraps. The Grey Goose extra dirty martini was consistently perfect. Both the bar and restaurant were filled, but the atmosphere was inviting and friendly - not crowded. We always know what to expect when we go to Maynard's - a contemporary and casual venue with good food, good drinks, and great times with friends - and we were not disappointed. Maynard's in Rogers is still one of our very favorite places to meet up with friends!
(4)J T.
We stopped in here for a beer and a late dinner... While sitting at the bar we chatted witht he bartender... The staff here was friendly and had some recommendations... I got the pork chops at the urging of the bartender.... She was right. These things were huge... thick, juicy and properly seasoned.
(4)Brian V.
Maynards seems to be the place to go in the rogers area. I have eaten here several times and they are always busy! Maynards has a full bar along with big screen tv's to watch whatever games are on. The menu consists of appetizers, typical sandwiches and burgers along with dinner as well. I am a big fan of the nachos! Each chip has a piece of meat attatched to it by melted nacho cheese! In the center of the plate you get chopped up tomato, guacamole, scallions, black olives, jalapenos and cups of salsa and sour cream on the side. My other favorite is the ahi tuna salad. It is a pile of greens and spinach topped with strips of rare tuna with a vinagarete dressing. It has pickled ginger and wasabi on the side and it is fantastic! The advertise many happy hour and dinner specials. Service is very good especially with the number of people there. Maynards is worth giving a try!
(4)Kelly P.
I really enjoy Maynards. Good service, good food, and classic big ol' portions.
(4)David S.
Maybe I'm just being an Ahole but I really do think when I spend $30 for a meal the waffle fries shouldn't taste like they have been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. The service was good but there is nothing about this place that makes me want to come back. That being said, my wife loved the garage burger she ordered. She can go back with her sister or someone other than me.
(2)Chris D.
Been here numerous times and always enjoy the service. Can get really busy in the bar area and sometimes loud but I think that shows they are doing a great job. Would recommend for sure!
(4)Kicked The Dog Y.
I'm with everyone else on this one. The 20 beers on taps are great. But the service lacks and the food is generic at best. However, the happy hour price is very good. Cheers :D
(3)Jeff F.
This restaurant is a great stop for a quick lunch. It has a casual atmosphere, the service is good & if you want to catch up on the latest sports game they have the largest HD tv around! You can chheck out their menu & photos at maynardsonline.com/rog-m… .
(3)Cait B.
This is a great lunch spot. The service is wonderful and they have something for everyone. The best part is that they also have a great salad selection. All of the salads have tons of veggies and nice portions. I had the asian chicken salad. Someone else had the buffalo chicken and they even make their own buffalo sauce onsite. A solid place if you don't feel like dining at one of the many gas stations around!
(4)kyle t.
Order the fish taco wrap. Very good and much better than you would find at Champs or Granite City. Very good service, nice bar area and always lots of people watching at happy hour. Good sized patio with uncomfortable chairs though. There really isn't alot around it for compitition.
(4)Eric S.
This place is OK, definitely nothing special. Stopped in here because it was convenient since we were shopping in Rogers. I'd probably go 2.5 stars if possible but it's not so I'm sticking with 2. They have really nice decor and a great bar area with a lot of TV's for watching sporting events. We started out with the artichoke cheese dip and bread which was the best part of our visit, wish I would have just ordered that for my meal. For my lunch I ordered the garage burger, it was a 1/2 pound burger topped with sour cream and green olives with a raw onion, now my burger was cooked perfectly but even with all those toppings it was surprisingly bland, they need to season up their burgers a lot more. My wife ordered the walleye fish and chips and that was OK but nothing special as well, I would never tell someone to go there for a burger or their fish. I kinda wish we would have gone across the street to Culver's because they have way better burgers and better fish for a lot cheaper. On the other hand our server was excellent. A fight almost broke out in the bar area while we were there too and the management did a good job of getting the trouble makers out of the building. There were a few naughty words thrown and I didn't think that was cool because I had my 3 year old son with but it was out of my control and they did take care of it rather quickly. I do not see myself returning here to eat but I would come back here to have some drinks in the bar area sometime. That is, unless Maynard's is turning into Rogers new rowdy place.
(2)Traci A.
Portions of most items (not all) are large enough to feed 2-3 people--no exaggeration. Food is decent, as is service. Typical American fare at a not-very-large chain. The place is packed on the weekends (not much else in the area). They also have a large bar with lots of sports playing. Outdoor seating in warming weather, if you don't mind overlooking traffic.
