I am a firm believer that dough is the most important part if pizza, and this need some work in that area. Overall is it pretty bad. It definitely needs some work. You can technically call it pizza, but just barely. I wouldn't recommend it and I will never go back.

I visited Mr. Pizza with family and had a great time. I was surprised to find that we could pick any table we wanted to (it was seat yourself) but we arrived in the early afternoon. Everything we ordered was gluten-free. We had the Greek Chicken pizza and the Sicilian pizza. The GF crust was really good - firm, not soggy, but still soft. The Sicilian packed a great meaty flavor and the Greek Chicken was loaded with veggies. The cheese was deliciously thick and stringy - but not cheep tasting. We also ordered the GF New York Cheesecake with raspberry topping. The cheesecake itself was incredible; the crust seemed a bit chewy, a sort of oats and nut bake, but overall a great flavor. The atmosphere was surprising sophisticated for a pizza joint. Had a great experience and would definitely return!

*** Carryout Again*** We tried the Sicilian on the Wheat Thin Crust this time. We would have preferred the Sicilian on the Double Dough. We think the Wheat Thin Crust should probably be reserved for the Greek Chicken or the Napoli. Our second pie was the Mr. Pizza Special on Double Dough and we weren't disappointed.

While at Mr North eating a double half Sharon's favorite half Sicilian, I would have rated it a 5! Unfortunately, a mere 3 hours later my husband and I both did not enjoy the food poisoning resulting in the obvious painful events that go with it. I called in to let the manager know by phone and his response was, "thanks" in a fairly surly tone. Im sure he meant to say I'm sorry and are you ok? Never again.

Waitress was extremely friendly, pizza was really tasty. Overall the best I've had in Rochester. We got a Margherita pizza and there was no problem with the substitutions I wanted (change the sauce, no garlic, add pepperoni, nix one of the other toppings--that level of substitution). Came out great. The thin crust was okay (I meant to change that too, but I think thin crust lovers would be happy). The cheese was really great. Loved the fresh basil too (the reason I went with margherita). The choices of cake & cheesecake were slightly underwhelming, but I think that's the price you pay for quality. We went with the lemon cake, and it was awesome. This is my new go-to pizza place (Didn't really have one before, at least in Roch).

My wife and I eat and Mr. Pizza North several times a month and love their pizza. My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger. I just read a review from someone complaining that they don't have Veal Parmesan... he gave them a low rating because of something they didn't have on there menu (???) Reviews are to review the food and the service not to complain about what they don't have on their menu.

Great place for pizza for lunch or dinner. For lunch they offer a great pizza by the slice lunch deal. Make sure if you get pizza to get the double dough for crust type!

Food was just how I remembered, tasty. I ordered the bruschetta and buffalo chicken pizza. Both of them are suppose to come with side sauces, bruschetta comes with a balsamic reduction and the buffalo chicken pizza. Once I arrived to my house I realized they forgot to put both of them in the box. Upon noticing they were missing I called to the store, and was offered a coupon for a free bruschetta next time. Nice effort! However the bruschetta without the balsamic sauce was basically a pico de gallo and toast.. I will be back in the future, their lunch special is a great buy, slice and soda for around $5.

Whenever I visit Rochester, I have to eat at Mr. Pizza. In high school, I was a frequent customer at the location on South Broadway. On this visit, my parents took me to the north location, and I'm sure glad they did. The north location is a little nicer, but the pizza is just as I remember. We started off with the garlic toast with cheese, which we do every single time. My parents shared an old standby, the Mr. Pizza Special, which comes with ground beef, italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and onion. My boyfriend and I shared the Mashed Potato pizza sans bacon, which comes with garlic butter sauce, mashed potatoes, green onions, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and a side of sour cream. Mashed potatoes seems like an odd pizza topping, but it works. The pizza was bold and flavorful, and we really didn't need the sour cream. The green onions were a nice, crisp contrast to the creamy mashed potatoes. The North Mr. Pizza does more than just pizza, and the menu looks like it has quite a few interesting sandwiches, salads, and pastas. If I lived in the area, I'd try give them a try, but given that I visit only every couple years or so, I'll stick to the pizza.

There are very few vegetarian options on the menu, but you can also create your own pizza. The thin crust is the way to go. The Florentine is the best vegetarian option. Cheap beer on tap. Service is usually good and restaurant is clean, remember to bring your coupons!

I ordered the Mr. Pizza special - a pseudo meat lovers. The flavor was ok, the red sauce a bit overpowering if you got a taste of it wtihout the other ingredients, and my thin whole wheat crust was really soggy. My husband got the Florentine Pizza with the same soggy crust. I tasted a piece and it was boring. The service was good and it was fairly quick as we were going to a movie...just wouldn't rate this as a 5 star or gourmet pizza...if you want mediocre/average pizza then this is it.

I can't believe that pizzerias in Rochester, MN do not have on their menus veal parmigian heros. It is such a staple on the east coast. Just f-n UNBELEIVABLE. This goes for all pizzerias here including some restaurants like Victoria's. They have veal, they have Italian bread and they can't make a simple sandwich! What a bunch of morons there are that have restaurants here in Rochester MN. If you're from the East Coast, don't expect to find any comfort food from home. The restaurants here are stuck in the 50s.

Nothing was bad. I had the lunch special . One slice for $4. Only three types to pick from. Also had the cheese garlic toast. More like garlic bread. Only the very edges were crispy. Just enough to melt the cheese. Not what I was hoping for. I would come back if someone else wanted to. I don't see myself coming back because I was hit by a craving for this pizza. Just taking about the lunch special pizza. The wait staff was attentive and vet polite.

We are huge fans of Mr Pizza and recently decided to go with them for our wedding rehearsal dinner. There was a mix up in the order and what we received. Which was disappointing at the time. It's refreshing to know great customer service still exists. We are loyal customers forever.

Dine in service is mediocre and there tends to be larger groups on weekends so wait time can be 30-40min. Pizza options are plentiful and plenty of appetizers and non pizza dishes. There are plenty of toppings to choose from and they all seem to be pretty fresh. They do have Gluten Free pizza but after having a few I don't think they prepare and cook separate from their reg pizzas. It's faster to order and pickup a pizza than to dine in so if your really hungry I would recommend that. Plenty of alcohol beverages and wine to choose from as well although they pour pretty small glasses IMO.

I went with some friends and we got the chicken alfredo, florentine, and sicilian pizzas. Food: 4/5 excellent. =) You can get either regular or thin crust. I really liked the chicken alfredo--it was so thick and stuffed with stuff. Fluffy too. The florentine just seemed to be a lesser version of the chicken alfredo. The sicilian was good too, and we had substituted the pepperoni for chicken instead. Service: 1/5 Despite there being 6 people, they seated us at a booth. It was really cramped with one person at the end with a chair. Also, we had to ask for more plates, utensils, and napkins because they only brought 4. When the pizzas came, there wasn't enough room on the table for the pizzas and people's plates. When we asked for an end table to add on, because of fire hazards, they understandably could not do it. However, when asked for options, they just suggested that we put the cheese/pepper-carrier on the windowsill, and then walked away. The servers were polite and sweet, but they seemed to not have common sense. We ended up stealing a chair from an empty table next to us to put a pizza on. When the separate checks came, there was only 1 pen. Everything was clean and fast though, so that was appreciated.

This pizza is a greasy mess with a limp wet cardboard crust. It takes a half of a roll of paper towels to soak up all of the grease floating on top of it. I am not a picky eater. I ate scorpions on a visit to Vietnam. But this pizza is by far the worst of any food I have ever put in my mouth. When my in-laws order I always try it again thinking maybe this time it will be different but nope. If it is one thing they are consistent; consistently horrible. I wouldn't feed this pizza to a stray dog.

I went here once with my mom while we were visiting Rochester, and we had a good meal! The place was fairly empty for a weeknight at 6:30. There were maybe five other couples in the place. The service was good! I got the chicken caesar wrap, and my mom got a ruben with a salad instead of fries. When she saw/tasted the deliciousness of my fries, she was seriously regretting her decision. These fries were among the best I have ever had! Seriously. We ordered a brownie a la mode for dessert. It wasn't that great. I could have just skipped it, honestly! But great ambiance, great food, great service!

WOW. The desserts looked AMAZING. Went here with my visiting cousin and aunt from North Carolina. This place was pretty good- we ordered Spinach Artichoke Dip for the table, which didn't come out until two minutes before our food. In an empty restaraunt, I don't understand why everything takes forever....OK. Rant over.... My baby sister Roxanne and I got the buffalo wraps, which, next to Green Mill's, were fairly mundane. My sister and I headed down Highway 52 down to Rochester, MN to see my aunt and cousin whom I hadn't seen in 13 years. After a great 1 1/2 of conversation with my newly graduated 22 year old sister we headed to a yet unexplored of Rochester. The place had really grown since I lived here 15 years ago. It was great seeing the small, yet big city grow. We met up with everyone and we ordered a Diet Pepsi to start us off and some spinach dip. The only cruddy thing about the place is it took like 20 minutes for the appetizer to come out, but I had a bite of it, and it was pretty tasty. Everyone else seemed to enjoy it as well. The menu was pretty extensive and I saw some pizzas come out that looked really good, but I wasn't in a pizza mood, so I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich with a side salad. I chose the side salad instead of fries, coleslaw, etc. and I was glad I did! The side salad came out after about 10 minutes, and it was almost a meal in itself. The blue cheese was pretty good as well. A couple of people got the wraps and my mom and aunt got a salad that looked real nice when it came out and they seemed to enjoy it. The sandwich came out and the roll looked beautiful and it came with lots of chicken chunks and a creamy spread, very yummy! I really enjoyed it, the bread was nice and crusty, but doughy as well. I could only finish half though though because of the wonderful said salad size. The chicken was really nice and juicy. I even enjoyed the pickle spear that came on the side. The wraps looked really large too, no one could finish their meals due to the portion size. Another one of my sisters got the nachos, which looked like a platter of cheese with chips, lots of food. They even come out with a bowl full of condiments like jalapenos and sour cream and tomatoes on the side. It looked pretty wonderful. Our server was nice, she refilled my soda 4 or five times and was very friendly. The price was pretty reasonable as well, I think it was about a $10 average per person with pop included, and I can't stress how big the portion sizes are. I would like to try the pizza with my wife sometime, a small was like 11 bucks. We went over to my parents house and laughed for another couple of hours with my rarely seen relatives and then headed back to the Twin Cities. My sis and and laughed and discussed life for the 70 mile trip back. What a great day and a great restaurant. I heard the cheesecake is to die for as well.

Let me start my review by saying...I'm not a huge pizza fan. Before eating here, I had driven by Mr. Pizza South (on Broadway), and was expecting some pretty low-quality food here. I am pleased to say Mr. Pizza exceeded my expectations. The sauce is flavorful, they did not overdo the cheese, and the toppings were liberally applied. I went with a large group of coworkers, we ate our way through a large portion of the menu. Everything was pretty good, and the price was right. The bruschetta was unimpressive, but overall a good pizza joint with a very nice ambiance.

This place was phenomenal! The pizza's were perfectly prepared with just the right thickness and crispy/chewy ratio on the crust. I want to come by for lunch soon, because the salads on the menu looked so appetizing. The only odd thing was that our waitress seemed to have an odd thing with distances. Like, she stood about 5 feet away, which is kind of odd. At first I wondered if we smelled bad. I felt immensely better when I saw her take another couple's order from the same distance away.
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
