Great Food, clean and well priced. If your some where to spice up your life this is the place. The food is very authentic and I recommend the siekh kabab and tikkah masala. Nan bread is perfect. Very important the place is situated in downtown Rochester, Waking distance from The Kahler Grand Hotel, Mayo Clinic and The peace square.

This restaurant is awesome! I have family in Rochester and although they are great cooks and have awesome food in their house, they are always going out to this place. We LOVE it. We usually go for the buffet, everything is fresh and promptly replaced if it runs out. Just the right amount of spice. The buffet has lamb, goat, those veggie fritter things...(I'm very technical, I know) tandoori, really all the usual suspects. My favorite thing is their homemade naan. OMG. it's awesome. Crunchy, chewey smokey perfection. If we aren't able to make it for the buffet, I must admit we end up ordering a basic lamb gyro, not because the rest of the menu isn't awesome ( it IS awesome ) but because their gyros are not typical. First of all it's on their homemade naan, the meat is better, the sauce is better...everything is spectacular and it is HUGE. gigantic, I can barely eat the whole thing. The decor leaves a little something to be desired, but it's clean and somehow most GOOD ethnic restaurants have really basic decor. I don't mind it. I have always had an awesome meal here, and the owners are always super nice and careful to make sure everything is to our liking.

Though they stayed open with only the two of us as their customers... I was disappointed. I rarely make it to a city with great food & culture, I had realistic expectations for this outing & was still let down. Yes it is authentic & yes it is Indian food BUT it was nothing to rant or rave about. There were no delicious dipping sauces, no aromatic rice or variety... it was just edible & pricey :-\

Great food, clean, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced. Daily lunch buffet is a bargain, check it out.

Advertised as the best gyro in town...NOT! Bread was nan and flavorless.
