Two stars for having a GF menu and for booth space but otherwise, meh. I ordered a custom GF pizza and felt ripped off paying $1.80 per topping. Could scarcely find more than five or six bits of anything under the cheese. And that's for the whole pie. The light above my table was out. Two different servers laughed about it but didn't fix it so I ate my million dollar pizza in the dark. I ended up scraping ingredients off the dough and eating the crust only. Not a great dining experience though everyone was friendly enough.

This restaurant is located next door to the Microtel by Wyndham in Rochester, Minnesota. The atmosphere is very friendly. They have an huge bar area, so I could see watching the games here with friends. I do however, appreciate that they have a large family-friendly dining area. The food: I'm eating the Classic pizza with a gluten free crust. The crust is nice, and not too crispy like I've seen other gluten free crusts. There special sauce has a little kick to it, but it's not over bearing. According to the history, the special sauce recipe was brought to America by its founder, who was from Italy. The customer service is great, and I recommend it!

Always solid. Great people here. Very well run operation. They hire the right staff who prides themselves on service. Now they are doing a live music run on Saturday nights. Not sure how many are left, but out sounds like fun. Wish I were on a mailing list to know the latest happenings? It's not anywhere near crowded enough and I want then to succeed. They have a great location. 2 things would make it better. Pricing. It's a little on the high side for a pizza place. Don't forget to keep promoting hot deals to get people in the door. Improve the bar scene. Bars are weak in this part of town. Listen to your regulars and you'll get more of them. The music idea is brilliant. It needs to be promoted.

Meh. Ordered the chicken Philly with a salad instead of fries (paid an extra 1.50 for the salad). Salad had brownish, wilted lettuce, mushy tomatoes . The full Midwestern salad catastrophe. Sandwich came on naked bun, had to beg for mayo and mustard. Server vanished, so I turned to the flies for company. If you are thinking about opening a place, open near them and steal their customers.

Ok this place is a great spot the staff super knowledgable about the menu and their honesty was great the bartenders are sweet and cute just not the best mixologists - that's ok I can guide them to the way I prefer my cocktails and frankly I a pain in the butt on how particular I am. The hoagies are yummy and the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is perfect

While staying in Rochester, there are a few places that deliver, but they are pretty limited. My mom is weary of Chinese places that she doesn't really know (she's a Chinese food snob, and she knows what's good!!) so we decided to go with pizza. Ironically, we didn't end up GETTING pizza, but I digress! We called and found out the soup of the day (Chicken Dumpling), found out if they delivered to our hotel (they did), how much the delivery fee was ($2). After all of my probing questions, I said I would call back. She was very patient with all of my questions when I wasn't even placing an order right away, bless her heart. So we ended up getting a taco wrap w/ a side of soup instead of fries. I got the baked chicken spaghetti that comes with garlic bread and the salad. When they say "side salad" they mean "amazing-salad-that-could-double-as-a-meal-andplusalso-includes-bacon". Because everything is better with Bacon on it. True story. The chicken dumpling soup was WONDERFUL. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it definitely hit the spot. One disappointment I had was the baked spaghetti, however, When I opened the container, ALL of the "baked" part of the cheese was stuck to the top so badly that there was no way for me to scrape it off, so I missed out on all of that cheesy goodness. The sauce was good, but there definitely wasn't enough of it, and the chicken on it was a bit over-peppered. So that was pretty sad. But my mom's taco wrap was AMAZING. I would highly, highly recommend getting that to anyone. It was chocked full of ingredients and had tons of flavor. The spinach wrap was a nice touch rather than just a plain flour tortilla!! The delivery was quick and courteous, and they even had foresight enough to provide us with napkins, silverware, and bunch of paper plates. I was really impressed with this thoughtful touch! We would definitely order from them again if ever in the area!

Followup to my original post. My bank upheld my complaint and reviewed my complaint. The charge was investigated by FIRSTBANK out of Boulder Colorado and the entire charge was reversed and the charge retired to my account. This complaint could easily have been resolved with a little reasonable compromise. I can't recommend Broadway pizza and had the manager worked out a solution rather than continued to argue I never would have filed the complaint. Customer satisfaction is important in a restaurant review. The attempt to compromise was one sided. Be sure to clearly document your complaint and show that you made every effort to reach a reasonable settlement but don't be afraid to refuse service and demand a refund when satisfaction is not upheld.

Went there for gluten free pizza and it was delicious. When I got my tab it stated the pizza was $18.29 wen the menu said $16.49 (no tax was added yet). I brought it up to the bartender who stated he would fix it, and then never did. It was good pizza but not worth that much, especially if they are going to up charge you more than the menu says. The bartender was also completely clueless what was going on (I almost think he was a supervisor or owner, which is even worse) and he was busy making drinks for the servers instead of focusing on customers. This was the last straw from a few previous bad experiences there and I most likely won't go back.

Good pizza! We got 1/2 black and green olive and 1/2 deluxe on NY style crust. Started with garlic cheese toast and marinara sauce. The toast was alright, nothing super special. Atmosphere was relaxed but nice. There was a train running around a track at the top of the room. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Would we go back? Yep!

I was unable to become a customer because they only deliver to the NW side of rochester, though I live 5 blocks away. As an out of towner who just moved in looking for a great go-to pizza joint, they've just fallen off the list for a stupid policy, and lost 2 to 3 years of business from a potentially loyal customer. Broadway pizza fail.

This place is Great for Gluten Free! Lots of Gluten Free Choices. From Cheesy Garlic Bread to Pizza and Pasta! I chose the Pizza and it did not Disappoint. Cheese Pizza with Black Olives. Our Shuttle Driver, at the Hampton Inn Rochester North, recommended this restaurant. There are plenty of other non gluten free items on their menu for people who eat Normal Food. My husband had Regular Pizza and said it was fabulous! I was in town visiting Mayo Clinic & will be returning at the end of July will make it a point to visit this great place!!!

Since moving to MN 4 years ago I have been seeking GOOD pizza. This wasn't it. Their "New York" style was too thick, not "foldable", underdone and tasteless. I know pizza is a very personal taste, but this was nothing like I was seeking.

Went to their lunch hour pizza buffet with the family and was not impressed. Have heard good things about this place, but honestly I have had better frozen pizzas in the past. The service was excellent, but the food was not. Will probably not go again.

a two-time customer Dine In: polite waiter, great thin crust sausage. There is a toy train set that runs along the track above head. My daughter loved watching that. fair price for check. Had more than enough left over to go. A Medium za' looks like a large ! ( Chicago Large) Delivery: Kind phone service. the person on phone took time to make sure my order was right and made good suggestions. I ordered the pound of wings 1/2 plum sauce ( nice spice kick) and 1/2 sweet and sour. The delivery driver was so kind and without my having to ask brought paper plates, napkins and flatware with our order. They were mindful they were delivering to my hotel and we didn't have any. I ordered a healthy thin crust small ( was big enough for 3 to eat as a light appetizer) with feta, red roast pep, black olive and onion. Lightly sauced. They make a great thin crust. Its not hard, its soft for a perfect chew. After a hard day at Mayo Clinic, this meal more than made up for it.

10 minutes to see a server. 10 minutes to get drink orders, and then incomplete. Screwed up the burger order. The burger. Not America's most complex culinary challenge. Brought the kids meal after everyone else's food. Over cheesed pizza was drenched with fat and soggy. The place is quaint and family oriented but not worth the aggravation. A little effort, better training and a modicum of consideration would still make this place just OK.

I chose this place because it was so close to my hotel. I'm really happy I did. The baked penne with meatballs was delicious. The garlic toast was also really good. I kept eating past being full and there was still food left on the plate when I was done. I also appreciate that they were generous with their wine pours. The service was fine. There was a good bit of children screaming, so clearly they cater to the family crowd. It didn't diminish my enjoyment of the meal.

Walked here from the hotel on a Monday night. Was seated immediately, server was friendly and fast. Was contemplating the menu when I heard the guys at the next table order the buffet. That sounded easier to work with so I ordered that. The buffet wasn't anything that would make me write paragraphs, but it was pretty good for a pizza buffet. I was in and out in half an hour and full to boot.

Great wait staff. This place was busy! We each ordered the supper buffet. The salad and pizza on the buffet were just right. Drinks arrived quickly, and empty plates were removed just as quickly. A good price for the food. Will repeat visit.

I've been here several times since I wrote my previous review, and the place continues to stand up. The last time my wife and I had the buffet, which was $7.99. Not a bad deal at all. The pizza was very good, and the salad bar was fine. My biggest complaint was that my beer was TOO COLD. It had to have been just above freezing temperature, and it was 30 minutes before I could drink it. Beer should be cellar temperature, not ice cold.

Broadway Pizza has quickly become our second favorite pizza place in Rochester. Full disclosure: my wife and I both like thin crust pizza (the crust is simply a delivery system for the toppings), so if you don't like thin crust, you may want to disregard. The sauce has a little kick to it, they offer a wide variety of toppings, and their sandwiches are very good. Solid bar options, and TVs with sports (or those bar trivia games) in every direction. Definitely worth the trip!

Poor take out service. Lost orders and then the server tries to say it's not her fault, it was someone else's fault. Lame.

Hopefully you don't get Bob as a server or he is no longer with them. Our garden salads were made with cherry tomato ice cubes, this was a first for me. Overall the service was less than engaging or attentive, the food was less than average.

Real Chicago thin pizza. What a find. Like an oasis in the middle of nowhere while going to Mayo Clinic all week. Yes, Chicago pizza is comforting. The service was spotty. The pizza was excellent.

Chicago crust as well as the thin crust are outstanding! Have not tried NY Style but all three are available. The pizza was served hot and was very good. Now the wait staff was another thing, at least last night. This is my third visit since it opened and last night was extremely slow! The setting is fun for kids of all ages. Model trains circling the bar and dining area are a nice touch. The railroad theme is wonderful to the railroader at heart. The other menu items look very good as I watch several dishes pass my table. The chicken wings look very golden and crispy! Don't forget to press the train whistle located near the bar. Now that is truely fun for all ages.... Overall worth the time to stop at the newest Broadway Pizza!

Great Pizza in a town full of cookie cutter pizzas made with canned ingredients... Very nice bar side with cozy fireplaces as well as a cool train vibe! The staff seems very friendly and it is a clean establishment with BUZZTIME TRIVIA! All in all it is a cool place and it has Rochester's Best Pizza....Period! The rumor is they may be adding several CRAFT BEERS in the near future...if that is the case their already impressive tap selection will be over the top...

I went to Broadway Pizza over the weekend and loved the pizza! The service was outstanding, our server was Stephanie and she was wonderful! We will be going back to Broadway Pizza any chance I get when I am in the area! You guys did a great job! They have more than just pizza too. Try one of the burgers, pasta, sandwiches or salads, they looked amazing as well! The chocolate chip cookie was also to die for! Way to go Broadway Pizza Rochester, i'm hooked!

Unfortunately, My experience at Broadway Pizza was the perfect storm of mediocrity. The service I was average, the pizza was very middle of the road. I think pizza hut and pappa johns frankly do a better job. Save your money and time. They do have a model train that is somewhat amusing though!

Gluten Free pizza rocks! One of the best crusts in Rochester, has a parmesan/cornmeal flavor. Delicious and nice to have a GF option. Highly recommend. Oh, go before 6 and they have 1/2 price appetizers. None are GF but my hubby really likes the quesadilla. It is huge and cheap during happy hour!

Best tasting pizza in town (especially for thick crust lovers!) Not the most healthy food around, but tasty nonetheless! The California Veggie (i think it's called) is insanely tasty! Service is nice and also quick. And I heard they recently started offering Gluten-free pizza's, which is great! Now they just need to start offering local/organic ingredients, RBGh-free cheese and vegan pizza options and this would be one progressive & tasty pizza joint! (Maybe some better beer taps too!)

The lunch buffet is mediocre at best. The price is fair, but so is the pizza.
