Average staff. Average sandwich. Quality and flavor of the meat in the meatball sub was good, but there was too little marinara on the sub and the bread is nothing to write home about. Pleased they offer shakes and malts from scratch. The chocolate malt was really good. They did post calories for all items on the menu. Nice touch. Seemed like a Quiznos with a smaller menu.

I'm giving it a 3 for this, my first visit. The 3 might be caused by my mistakes, so I will try them again and see if I can move that up. I ordered a sandwich with salami, turkey, ham and roast beef -minus the salami I chose the wheat bread - that is possible problem #1 there. Then I had mustard, mayo, lettuce, pickles, ranch dressing, olive oil and itaian herbs (which could problem possibility #2) The sandwich tasted good, but there was something just not right about it. I couldn't figure out if it was something in the bread, or the cornmeal (?) on the bottom of the bread, was it how the bread was toasted?? I don't know. The other option is that it's possible that I should have skipped the Italian herbs . I will definitely go here again, but I will try the sandwich with the white bread and skip the herbs (they are kind of hard because they are not *in* the oil) and see how that comes out. I'm gonna guess that it will be much better. ***OK! I am updating my review. I went back and ordered a big wreck on white, no salami and cheddar cheese (extra even) instead of Swiss. I skipped the Italian herbs. Well, whatever I did, it made it right. So I gave them one star back because they do indeed have wonderful sandwiches. The other star is just for their dream bar. OMG it is the best bar I have ever had. I could sit here and eat these all day long. They also have milkshakes and a few other bakery options for deserts, as well as chips to go with your sandwich. I'm definitely a Potbelly fan now.

I am here all.the.time.! I seriously love, love Potbelly and frequent their locations often. But this location does get visited more often than the others, and it's really due to their location - convenient to a lot of locations I need to visit, close to the freeway, and closest location to my home. Service has always been friendly here. But..... food. I used to only get sandwiches; but I have been eating "healthier" due to all my new food allergies. So now I always get the Wreck Salad (no cheese, no egg) w the Potbelly Vinaigrette. Shake it up in the plastic salad container to blend.. and voila! Perfect lunch. But.. their sugar cookies are pretty much like crack. So I think I always grab one of those. And... (I know it's dairy) but I just tried the Peppermint stick shake (or whatever it's called) and it was amazing good! Parking in this popular lunch stop area can sometimes be tight; but if you circle around someone's bound to leave at some point. Oh and Free WiFi too!

Came in at the right time on Sunday, at noon it exploded with people everywhere including a large group rearranging all the tables. There's people standing on chairs, others yelling over my shoulder, this place is crazy and I have to make it out. As the food, I grabbed a bigs cheddar cheese chicken. It is pretty stereotypical deli style sandwich that was tasty but needed more toppings. I can taste the chicken and cheeses but not so much on the mayo mustard tomato lettuce combo. The line is nearly out the door now. It's good but not that mind blowing. Location is near one of the last Boston Markets left that make a great sandwich and mashed potatoes.

Very very tasty. First time here and I took advice for a wreck. The sugar cookie truly is like crack. Only negative is how much it costs. So much better than 99% of sub places though! LocAtion in Richfield is great because it's right in my neighborhood. A quick lunch here can become an easy part of your errands. Yes parking can be tricky though.

Ordered skinny ham sammy today. Had with lettuce, tomato and pickles. Potbelly vinigrette on side. Didnt really need the vinigritte. Sandwich maker tried to upsell soup. Told her I didnt want soup. At 11:30 it was hard to find parking.

Super friendly staff and very tasty sandwitches! I had a Skinny Hammi. This place is sort of like Subway with better meats (the ham wqlas great) but fewer veggie and bread choices. They post the calorie value of all their sandwhiches right on the board, which I appreciate. Five stars because all three employees who addressed me did so politely with big, genuine smiles, and thanked me warmly when they saw me head out the door. Awesome service.

I'm actually surprised at how much I like Potbelly. All the ingredients are good, it's decently priced, and they have a bunch of options. They also have ice cream, but I've never tried it. This location was nice. Same as all the other locations.

This shop was directly across from the hotel we were staying at, so we trekked across Lyndale for a quick lunch. No indication was given that the sandwiches were toasted (nor were we asked). The person who took our initial orders was less than friendly and didn't seem too pleased that we came in. The meats seemed to be on-par with Subway; just more expensive. They had some regional brand of chips (Zapp's) that weren't very good either.

They serve good food fast. I happen to like the "Wreck" with mushrooms. I get it every time I am there.

The only complaint about this potbelly is the location because if you come during lunch time in a vehicle good luck finding a spot to park. It is brutal around there. The restaurant is clean. The service is fast and the wifi is free. It's a good place to grab a quick bite to eat.

When I hopped on Yelp I saw the guy below me's review (sort by date) and felt compelled to review myself. As far as chain sub shops go, Potbelly is my go to. The meats are quality and the hot peppers are to die for. The bread is always fresh and their cookies are addictive. Also, contrary to the guy below me's comments pretty sure the menu says right at the top "toasty warm sandwiches". The "regional" chips he mentions (apparently a slight) are not regional but from Louisiana and actually available in his home town as far as I can tell. Gimme my big grilled chicken cheddar with extra chicken, add bacon, layer on the toppings, no oil, and a oatmeal chocolate chip cookie.

I love Potbelly. There are several reasons for this that include but are not limited to: - toasted subs with hot peppers - a wide array of thick, tasty shakes (mocha. yum.) - live, albeit somewhat random, music performers Now for the real reason to head to Potbellys for lunch: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. Best cookies ever and if it weren't for the fact that I don't want to be obese anytime soon I would eat at least 5 per day. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'... This location is near my work so I go there quite often and I have never had a bad experience. The workers are very friendly and fast and the food is always fresh and tastes great. Two thumbs up.

I've written a review for another Potbelly, so I don't want to overdo it here. Same thing for the food - good food, decent price, and delicious cookies (though I skipped it this time...gotta watch the waistline and all!). I like this near my home and work, so I'm sure I'll be back again!

It was a slightly chilly but beautifully sunny day when I stepped into Potbelly's in Richfield. As myself and my coworker stepped in line for our food, the anticipation was coming on strong. The gals behind the counter taking our orders were upbeat with smiling faces. The 'what do you want on it' person seemed okay. The girl who took my money was friendly enough. But when we sat down and took that first bite of our sandwiches it was like being in my twentys again and being set with a blind date with the girl with a "nice personality". That "lipstick on a pig" quote came up in conversation and it was decided that we probably wouldn't be back. The shake I had was just a mediocre shake, more akin to just whipped melted ice cream. Two stars because of the friendly staff!

Great food that's always consistent. And aside from occasional long lines I have no complaints.

I was very happy to find several Potbelly locations in and around Minneapolis. Our family ate at this location on a Saturday. It was not busy, so there was no line. They have a beautiful patio, so we took our food outside. The sandwiches are packed, so there's no need to get chips or a side, even if you think you're really hungry. That said, the macaroni salad is delicious. It's really small, but if you eat that plus half of your sandwich, you'll be stuffed. The malts are delicious, but make sure you order it when you order your sandwich, or you'll be waiting for a while.
