Solid place. TVs with sports and good music. No dance floor. Happy hour on Sunday which is $1.50 off beer. Waiting staff was friendly and what one expects. A little pricey which keeps the riff raff away. All around good experience.

I am from Chicago great bar great music great food and service would come back any time i am in the area

Cajun walleye tacos were really good, black been salsa with it was excellent & required a second helping. Service was excellent (Rose) as well as the whole staff. Will definitely be coming back when I'm in town!

Nothing wrong with this place, 3 stars is a solid rating. Good beer selection, nice menu and good service. My wife had the Bloody Mary flight and wasn't in love with it. Large gluten free menu.

Great selection of tap beers for the beer drinker, food menu has many tasty items and there tator tot's are amazing only reason not giving higher score is they changed there menu and took off some amazing items. They had a wino burger which is similar to a juicy Lucy but 100 times better it was stuffed with port wine cheese and topped with more port wine cheese! Main reason me and 4 other people would drive to this place for dinner!

Food portions are huge, but service was bad. My coworkers and I arrived 30 min before happy hour ended and the server said it might be too late to order. When we made an issue about it she rolled her eyes and said we could all order a drink before it ended. Another coworker showed up 10 min before happy hour closed and age gave her the same attitude. I'm not sure what her motive was but we didn't tip as well as usual. Seems like a towny bar.. Lots of older people who sit at the bar for hours flirting with each other. On a positive note, the popcorn is great. We had to get our own refills as the serve was too busy being happy hour police.

I walked down to Lucky's on a Saturday night as a result of staying at a hotel that was just over a block away. There was absolutely no way that I was going to order out tonight, so I decided to give Lucky's a chance. I certainly didn't want to travel the 15 minutes into Minneapolis to get beer & food. I sat down at a very full bar and witnessed quite a bit of folks playing bingo or some sort of game. Since there wasn't anything but baseball on TV at the time, observing folks playing parlor games was actually quite welcoming! The beer was exceptionally hoppy, particularly the IPA version. Yet this is Minnesota. If the beer isn't hoppy, that means that you are already drunk, considering your taste buds are officially shot to sh*t. I ordered a pasta & chicken dish to compliment my one of many IPAs that night, as well as popcorn for an appetizer. Let me say that again: popcorn as an appetizer? Not that I minded, but this is something that you normally don't see in a pub. I've seen pretzels and beer nuts, but not popcorn. Veeeeeeery interesting! Patrons were certainly having fun with the popcorn, being that they were making three-pointer shots into their date's open blouses as a gag. How romantic. Lol. After my two hours of lounging and laughing at this bar, I walked back to my hotel completely bent, yet nourished with good food and the memory of good times. I'll certainly recommend this place to folks that I know in the Twin Cities.

Went to this location for a quick drink and appetizer with family. My brother and I ordered drinks and cheese curds. Another person with us ordered a burger. I liked the beer selection list, both on draft and bottled. I kicked myself once I saw a sour in a bottle. I saw it after I ordered a beer already from draft. The cheese curds were good, you cannot miss on these. I'd like a little more breading, but it was delicious. The burger was cooked to order and eaten quickly by the person who had it. You also get popcorn with your drink order. I'd liked a little more responsive waitress. We were there at 4 PM, and the place was not busy. She gave us a bill before we were asked if we were done. One person wanted coffee. The waitress obliged and did not put it on the bill. I tipped her a little more for that, it was her error not to ask. When I am in town again, I will suggest this location for a meal, just because I like the beer selection.

I have loved every meal I've had here. Met my bf on our first date there. The food is always hot, portion sizes are huge, everything I get is two meals for me. Never go to lucky's and skip the tots. They are absolutely amazing. Their specials are spot, drinks are mixed well, and popcorn is always fresh. Will recommend lucky's to anyone I know!

I was in the twin cities area for some work training and stuck at the Crowne Plaza off Hwy 55. I yelped this place up looking for some fried cheese curds. The day before I was in MPLS and stopped at Prairie Dogs and that was a total FAILURE. They were overpriced and a tiny portion. I'm not a bird... Anyway, seeking a rematch before leaving MN I stopped at Lucky's. The plate I got was a full sized plate and they were soooo good. The bartender suggested some great beer to accompany my curds. This place is legit if you find yourself in Plymouth looking to grab some delicious curds!

Returned to Lucky 13's for happy hour with old coworkers. Ordered the bloody mary even though I stated I would never order a bloody mary here again. It was good. Good enough to order two. I still prefer Zing Zang but the bloody marys served here did the trick. Ordered a full serving of nachos and they were literally served on a cafeteria tray. Three of us finished about half of the serving. Insane portions. Wednesday nights is bingo night and, like the live music on Thursday nights, it was just a bit too loud. Overall, I'm a fan of this place. Wish we had one in England!

Staying in Plymouth for business. I highly recommend for drinks and food when you just have to "get out." Great staff, casual atmosphere. Good food, nothing to write home about, but the portions are generous and served hot and the prices are reasonable. I was disappointed in the bloody mary flight. The jalapeño was great, the others fell short. They had a DJ on Saturday night who was well versed in house music infused with pop-good job and didn't overtake the joint with volume. I found the customers to have that mid-western kindness that made me feel relaxed and at ease. Plus, the popcorn served with your drink is outstanding. Highly recommended.

It's a good place to drink- food is so-so- free popcorn is great! They also sell pull tabs if you're into the cardboard cocaine.

We frequent Lucky's given their yummy gluten-free options as well as fun happy hour specials! My husband and I decided to take my parents and nephew for a Friday night dinner! We were promptly greeted and had our water and popcorn delivered quickly to our table! After ordering, we did have a bit of a wait, but the quesadilla and loaded tots that my husband and I shared were delicious! My nephew got the kids salmon and had to share some with all of us because it was "awesome." My dad's grilled cheese was great (I normally get it with the gluten-free bread and love the grown-up addition of avacado and tomato), but unfortunately my mom's taco salad was pretty blah! Her description of the shell was that it tasted "old" and that kind of wrecked the meal for her! The less satisfactory food for my mom dropped it down to a 4 star, but overall, consistently good bar food!

We've been here twice now and both times were disappointing. First time there was plastic in my salad. Overall, they're way overpriced for the quality of the food. The fries were soggy, which I would think would be hard to do with how thin they were cut. And the tator tots are more like a cheesy hashbrown than a tot. Just really disappointing. We won't be back.
(1)Malcolm C.
Good friends and conversation made up for a less than pleasant experience. Waited nearly an hour for our food after our waitress " lost" our order. To their credit, they comped two meals. Once it arrived, food was good. May be back but there are many places that have good burgers.

In town on business and looking for a place to meet after our day of meetings. Heard good things about Lucky's and we were all pleased. Good selection of bar food and burgers Great beer selection on tap. Homemade tater tots are very good! Had the blackened Walleye BLT which was well done with fresh fish. Rest of the table all spoke highly of their entrées and best of all, the servers were super friendly and had great recommendations. Was a bit unusual to have Bar Bingo take place during dinner time but it's a bar surrounded by tables (in sight of the bar). Although it was a bit warm, the outdoor patio looked cozy. Would go back again.

If your priority is beer this might be your place. I would not recommend ever coming here for food. My wife and I along with two out of town friends who were staying at the attached hotel met for dinner 6:30PM on Wednesday evening. The service was quick and friendly no complaint there. The first irritation began after our drink order arrived. It was bingo night. Booming over the speakers was the constant explanation of the rules, calling numbers, comments from the MC. All I could think about was GET ME OUT OF HERE! Then came the food. I had the Philly Cheese Steak. It was covered in some sort of orange goop soaking the roll and concealing any peppers or onions that might have been there. Yuk! My friend ordered the Prime Rib sandwich. I wish I had taken a photo, words cannot describe what was served. Small chunks of what looked like old dried out pot roast on a small ciabatta, au jus on the side. Our wife's both had the Dynamite Salad. OK but nothing to remember. I think the servers know the food is bad because they never asked "how is everything ". I don't know what's in our Minnesota up bringing that allows us to not return food, complain and just pay the bill.

I've been to two of these locations, the Plymouth and Mendota Heights ones. First, the portions are HUGE. If you're on a diet, adhere the rule of put half your meal in the to-go box right away. They have endless popcorn while you wait. A guilty pleasure are their housemade tater tots. These are big and are only about 4-5 to an order just in case you are expecting a basketful of tater tots like other places. Kind of like a Champp's, the menu offer numerous items in American sports bar type food. Nothing is going to be earth shattering, but it will be decent. Often these are good places to end up at when meeting a group of people and you need a location-in-the-middle. The beer list appears to be a good one.

Breakfast! Take heart! Last saturday we encountered an hour plus wait at both Original Pancake House and the Perkins off 55 (at 10:30am) My husband had the idea to try Lucky's 13-score! They have breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. It's a great selection: pancakes, corned beef hash, omelets, benedict, and more. My husband and I marveled at the busy but not "no tables" scene. While a block away, people were out the door at Perkins for likely a similar or not as good, breakfast. The service was very friendly and professional. We will absolutely return and I would encourage you to not be held hostage to a long wait nearby.

Drink by the Rink App brought us to Applebee's in Plymouth...only minutes from ice rink...but since we were at this rink all weekend...we wanted a little change...And this was 5 minutes away from the Plymouth Ice Rink! Lucky 13's is so charming! Love the place..from the tin ceilings and open floor plan...to the amazing rope ceiling fans! And the food....very good...we had the Black n Blue Burger...other parents had soup.....not to mention the BLOODY MARY FLIGHTS!! OH MY! Horsey, Jalapeno, Bacon & Garlic Vodka;s! The service was great...we had 40 people with hockey players who were hungry and in a hurry!

Awful! Very rude staff. Possibly the worst food I ever had! Definitely do not recommend , definitely not coming back.

My husband and frequent Lucky's about once a week. We love the bartenders - Brian, Jess and Luke. They always provide great service and engage in conversation. Food is good, drinks are great. I will move my rating up to 5 stars if they decide to put a dart board in the large, unused space in the back of the building (or at least something - seems like a big waste of money to have that much unused space). Place gets busy since it is connected to a hotel but service is good no matter what.

Lucky's has a lot of potential. They have a wonderful beer selection and a pretty good wait staff. Their food could use some improvement. We came in with a group of folks for dinner on a Saturday. We had to wait a little while to get a table which is typical. The bar area was pretty although a bit loud. They had servers coming through the crowd with plates of finger food to prime our pallets before dinner. They also have a popcorn machine providing additional munchies while you wait. Nice touch! The beer selection is fantastic and is among the best in the west metro. However, I had a bear of a time getting a bar tender's attention to order a round of drinks. I HATE THIS! I practically had to stand on my stool, waive my arms and shout to get noticed. They were busy but they also walked by me several times or stood around looking for the next client to serve and seemingly didn't notice me. Moving on. We were seated and ordered a couple plates to pass around for appetizers. The cheese curds here are good! Our entrees came out after we finished our appetizers. The dinner plate portions are HUGE! Maybe skip the apps next time. The food was just OK. Nothing really special about it. It was about the quality of a Perkins dinner. We had a bit of trouble finding our waitress to get drink refills. Could have had a better presence there. However, they were busy. I wouldn't mind trying Lucky's again. They have some pretty good things going for themselves and have room for improvements. Just need to watch out and not order too much food.

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. This was our very first visit. Food was very good. Good sized portions for a resonable price. Service was excellent. We live in Plymouth and really don't have too many non chain places to choose from. We will defintley return.

The only good thing I can say about this place was the hostess was friendly. Once we were seated things began to go downhill. The waitress didn't seem to know much about anything on the menu. I ended up ordering a burger because there were several on the menu, so I assumed they must know how to make good burgers. I was wrong. The "juicy lulu" I ordered (medium rare) was an inedible, overcooked monstrosity and the tiny pocket of cheese in the middle had melted and then re-solidified. I highly suspect the burger was frozen. The bun was pretty "meh" and the fries were nothing special. I took two bites of the burger and completely lost my appetite. It was like biting into a tire. When the waitress came to get the plate, she did not ask how my burger was. Generally when someone only eats two bites of a meal, it's because they thought the meal was terrible and at this point some good customer service skills might get the customer to return. Unfortunately this did not happen, and it's not my job to make sure the restaurant gets me to come back. I will not be giving this place another try. It's just another crappy chain restaurant with poor quality food served by people who don't know anything about it (and are probably underpaid). Because the world really needs another one of those. This is probably a fun place to grab a drink, but definitely skip it for dinner. Final note: I do not understand the giant, expensive, unused brick oven in the middle of the restaurant. Maybe they should start using it.

Such an improvement over Axel's. Beer selection is the best in Plymouth (Axel's never understood this concept). Food is good (Dean Martin burger or cheese curd burger, chop salad). Good location and should help aleviate the overcrowding at Jake's. Menu selection is good and prices are reasonable. Free popcorn. Again, it's the beer selection that will have me coming here over the other area spots.

I've been here twice, once for bingo and appetizers and the second time just for a relaxing pint (and a salted caramel martini). Both times were on a weekday night, so I'm not sure what the weekend is like. I was satisfied with the service and food/drinks. It's a little pricier than some pubs but the quality of the food and solid selection of beers along with some app/drink specials make up for it. It is a large space with booths, tables and seating at the large island bar area. Though it's a good sized space it has a cozy interior with dark wood, dim lighting, and a contemporary Americana feel - without all the tchockies. I'm in love the old school belt and pulley ceiling fans. Lucky's has pull tabs (electronic and paper) and bingo on Wednesday nights. Live music on Fridays as well. You'll meet an interesting mix of characters at the bar as there is a hotel attached and Plymouth is pretty devoid of local bars. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Food recommendation - the Tots. They've taken the average tator tot and infused it with cheesy bacon goodness. A (very unhealthy) meal in itself. Oh, and the popcorn is insane. It's free, fresh, white, puffy, the perfect amount of salti-ness and made with coconut oil - it's like eating a cloud. So that makes it healthier right?
(4)Dean K.
What a happy hour! Great inexpensive food and a good stock of beers. This place is a big step up from the previous tenant, Axel's. Hot popcorn, nice selection of drafts, nice appetizer specials and good selection of reasonably priced dinner plates. Only downside is the placement of the front door, when it's 20 below zero the wind whips into the bar seating area and it's a bit chilly, which shouldn't be a problem 99% of the time. Friendly waitstaff.
(5)Liz F.
Went here for breakfast with out of town family. Our waitress was very accommodating and patient with all questions. The food was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We all ordered off the children's menu and the portions where huge. All the food was made to perfection. We do plan on coming back in the near future.
(5)Chris H.
Best service ever. We were hungover after a wedding and stayed next door. My friend wanted a cheeseburger, but it was breakfast and they accommodated. Food was great and you have to love the free popcorn.
(5)Craig S.
Went for brunch on a Sunday morning. Not overly busy. Took 50 minutes from the time I sat down until my food arrived. I knew what I was going to order before I even sat down. Then the chicken sandwich was luke warm at best. Server took my plate and the manager said she will take that off of my bill. Then billed me for my ice tea. Never will return, especially when Jake's is half a block away and always great food and professional service.
(1)Keith M.
No bleu cheese in bleu burger, burned onion rings. Date's sandwich was soggy. Waitress showed up once in our hour stay. Overpriced for our crappy food
(1)Christina G.
I've eaten here a few times now and think it's pretty great. We also used them to cater my moms retirement party. Great look inside and huge bar area! I've had several apps and the bacon cheese burgers are a 10!! Great food great bar!!
(4)Lori B.
This is a review for the breakfast we enjoyed. We were seated immediately. I felt the music was a bit loud, but noticed it was turned down shortly thereafter. I had the Three Little Piggies--toasted buns with ham, bacon, sausage, egg and cheese and served with fried potatoes. Delicious! My husband had the corned beef hash, served with eggs and hollandaise sauce. mmm, hollandaise. . .The pancake on the side was perfect--crisp edges and light and fluffy interior. I deducted a star because I prefer fresh squeezed OJ, but the stuff they had was tasty enough. Good service, good prices, good food = we'll go back!

I live close to Luckys and it is a good place to grab drinks with friends. I wish the food was better. The menu is HUGE, and I mean HUGE and portions are large. But results have been hit or miss and friends and I I've gotten a tummy ache a couple of times, especially after breakfast. They seem to start off great, but quality slides. Used to love the $5 ribs on Thursdays, but this week they were not good - not the usual meaty, large ribs. The bloody flights were amazing, but the last time I had them a few months ago they had stopped stuffing the olives with bacon/other tasty items which just made it ho-hum. But its close, so I still go back and will continue to, but my expectations are low. Looking forward to drinks on the new the patio this summer.
(3)Todd K.
Waited for service at our table for 10 minutes, even made eye contact with two managers and no one came to our table! This was the second time we left their disappointed! But they did have Bingo????
(1)Les C.
I have been there a few times. on thurs. the riblets are only $5. I find the restaurant a little loud for me, when i am dining alone, reading a book, so i called to get a to-go order. But when called to order to go. I asked if it was $5 riblets tonight. YES. I said i wanted to order to go. When i got there, it was $12. the eat in price is $5 and the to go price is $12. I have gotten take out before from them and the $5 was the price. but not tonight. maybe the other times, it was a mistake. well, i wont make the mistake of going there again. $12 is way too much for an appetizer portion of riblets. just an opinion.
