Pricey little sandwiches, but oh so worth it. It is as if you went to the farmers market and made just one sandwich. Lettuce is crisp, meats are clean and not frozen. Soup is always fresh. When you order it to-go, they include all the needs (napkin, spoon, fork, and crackers) This is an excellent place to order box lunches for conferences.

Fresh, Delicious food and great service! My husband and I stopped in on our way from the airport to our hotel. I was quickly greeted by the owner and his son. They make the turkey for their sandwiches fresh everyday and they make fresh soups everyday. I had the turkey grilled sandwich with yellow lentil soup and my husband had the Reuben with clam chowder. Everything was delicious! You must try this place if you're looking for a deli!!

Don't buy the Yelp $10-for-$15 Voucher!! We bought this as we walked into the restaurant but the owner(!!) would not honor it. The place was crowded and he easily could have honored the discount and dealt with Yelp later. They also got our order wrong at first. So why the 3 stars? The food is exceptional!! Everything we had was great and tasted like home. I recommend the food as is and I look forward to the customer service improving soon.

Great Mom and Pop deli! You can count on excellent homemade soups and sandwiches. The deli is in a strip mall so it's nothing fancy, but the place is always packed! You can expect excellent lunches! They also cater...

For years I've made a point of stopping by Dufner's on Friday for their clam chowder. Awesome!! Laun S.

Noticeably below average service. I was given an empty tray and told the sandwiches would be brought out when ready. Why give me a tray? The first sandwich was paraded around on another tray as they looked for me. The have no system to identify what order goes where, the staff just wander aimlessly until you ask if that's yours and then you compare what you asked for, to what they're holding. The second sandwich was brought out on yet another tray, making three trays for two half sandwiches, all of which were left on the table. To call the decor "spartan" implies that there was some attempt to decorate, which I don't think there was. None of this would matter if the food was special, but it isn't. There's nothing notably about the menu, bread or ingredients. So why would I come here again? Like a lemonade stand you might buy something out of sympathy, but you can easily make something better at home. Except for the possible appeal to the retirement community, I predict a short life for this restaurant.

Small mom and pop sandwich/soup spot. Good for lunch during the work week. To be completely honest, the food quality is kind of bland, nothing special at all. The sandwiches are on the bigger side, but they appear to look like a sandwich you could easily make at home. I think they the menu items that get the most word of mouth are their soups. They are pretty hearty, taste good, and they have a decent selection with a special each day - but again, nothing to write home about. This is a pretty small joint in a strip mall, that has a crowd of "regulars" taking their lunch break. This being said, I think it's the overall blue-collar, average Joe, no fancy-frills atmosphere that bumps my rating up to three stars.

This is my favorite work day retreat. Straight forward soup and sandwich shop with solid breakfast. They have wi-fi and encourage the diners to stay awhile. I like the fact it's a successful mom & pop cafe, but it kinda stinks that it's in a strip mall.

This place is in a strip mall, and its delicious. The hoagie with turkey I ordered had thick juicy slices of Thanksgiving-style turkey. The beer cheese soup was hearty and served with popcorn. The food is simple, filling, and delicious. It kicks Subway and Quiznos ass out of the park. I wish i lived near here.

Good sandwich, very good soup (yellow lentil) and very good service. The manager/owner was incredibly nice and it added to the positive experience. Overall, it's a good deli and I'd return.
