ok this update is morea bout the chain than the particular restaurant, but ive decided to bump up davannis to a 5. i spent a week in chicago, and ate lou malnatis and giordanos. i still think davannis is better. maybe my idea of deep dish wrong, maybe its the fact the davannis crust tastes like its almost deep fried, i dunno, but its that good. gooey cheese, great tasting/texture crust, ample ingridients. i have yet to find a better pizza anywhere. end of story.

So far, this is my favorite pizza in MN. Ordered delivery on a Sunday night and the guy that took the order on the phone was very nice, and delivery was fast, under a half hour. Pizza quality is my favorite. The crust is just the right amount of doughy and greasy, not too much, not too little. The quality of topping was great; we had the chicken florentine pizza. A crazy good hot meatball hoagie to split and two of us had leftovers for another day. It was a tad pricier than I would have liked (large pie, large hoagie, chips and a drink for $40 includes tip), but the quality of food and service will keep me coming back for much more!

Greasy pizza, but the kids are happy. Not the best pizza or salad I've ever had. I prefer their hoagies. Conveniently located, decent service, plenty of parking. Pizza is at about a 5 out of 10.

If you want imo the best hoagie you can get, you will come here and order the southwest chicken hoagie. Every aspect of this sandwich is immaculate. The blending of the chipotle sauce with the corn/various vegetables compliments the great grilled chicken covered in melted cheese aplenty in between delicious ciabatta bread with perfect texture. You won't be displeased with the other hoagies or unbelievable pizza either.

This is the second best pizza in the state of MN. Number one is pizza Luce. This is pretty good. Never ate at the actual restaurant, but ordered a bunch of times. Fast delivery. Amazing crust, fresh ingredients. They also have salads, pastas, hoagies, all can be at your house in less then 30 min. Also, I think there is some magic dust in the cookies. They are like crack. Im addicted.

Another day, another Davanni's. We were only in town for a week, but my wife wanted to eat at Davanni's for a third time. This time we tried the Plymouth location. It's got a pretty large dining area and a couple large flat screen TVs. If you like the food at other Davanni's, you'll like this place. We got a thin crust pizza with chicken, onions, and pineapples. Delicious as always.

I have had plenty of Chicago-style deep dish and Davanni's is on par with many of the rest I have tried including the Uno chain. Crust and sauce were both delectable and highlights with this pizza joint. Another huge plus, for me anyway, was that there wasn't a ton of cheese in it and on it. The toppings were a tad skimpy compared to what I have had, but good nonetheless. Pretty good pizza, and I would have it again.

I love Davanni's pizza, but my favorite is their hoagies! This particular location is excellent. The food comes out fast and has always been great. My only wish is that they had wi-fi as I'm a pretty mobile worker and prefer working outside the office but don't drink coffee. Maybe someday. I've had really consistently good food from Davanni's for years so it's hard to not give them a 5* rating.
