Classic north woods place...great burger served by a very nice lady. I was the only person in the place not playing bingo, so I watched the Twins instead.

We have stopped in this beer joint several times. What a dump! The owners clearly hate each other, their jobs and strangers. If you are not a "regular", expect zero interaction from your "hosts". We will never return. I had hoped to give it zero stars, but that is not an option. Trust me - - it's not worth a stop.

I LOVE this place! Yes, I am a local but just enjoy the casual atmosphere of a bar in the middle of nowhere. They have a taco night on Thursdays that is great. The place is packed. Service is usually good. There isn't a lot of selection around here so enjoy what you have! It's divey but clean and great people watching!

Very nice homey feeling hole in the wall type bar. 3 beers are on tap including a dark beer! The place hosts a variety of special nights, like bingo, and taco night. The prices fit most budgets, and I've never been left waiting when my beer is empty! My complaint is the standard one: no real swiss cheese. It's that american-swiss that is sold by many distributors, but it's not swiss. The restaurant has just enough tables and barseats to accomodate the locals and visitors on the weekends, gets a lottle cozy, but everyone seems very friendly. In short, a great place to go!
