The best pizza available anywhere for any price! Excellent GLUTEN-FREE pizza too! The hard working, very talented genius namesake/owner is regularly working at the restaurant. The kitchen staff turnover appears to be low, the same people work there for years. All of this along with great ingredients and phenomenal recipes comes together to create pizza magic. Gluten sensitive people rejoice! Many establishments claim great gluten-free pizza but in our experience most are terrible tasting. Randy has gluten-free cooking figured out! The BEST GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA we have found and we have tried many highly touted brands. My girlfriend craves this pizza. It is so good I eat and enjoy it and I do not have a gluten allergy. He also has delicious chocolate covered gluten-free Rice Krispy style bars for sale. My family and I have been patronizing this restaurant for over a decade and wholeheartedly encourage anyone who enjoys pizza to try Randy's Premier Pizza! This is a neighborhood restaurant worth driving across town for. This is the good stuff.

My wife and I haven't been to Randy's in over 15 years. (We had moved across town) We were in the the neighborhood, hungry and decided to stop in and order take out. We both forgot what a great pizza they make. We were eating in our car as we drove home. We will now drive out of our way to go to Randy's.

I was looking for a good pizza joint to go and meet up with Mike at, and dropped Aaron a quick line to get his suggestions. Based on our target area near North St. Paul, he said we needed to go to Randy's Premier Pizza. He thought the idea sounded good, so he joined us as well. If you've never been to, or ordered from Randy's, I can assure you that you're missing some of the best pizza on the East side of the cities. While primarily a take-out pie shop, they do have a few tables in the back if you care to dine in. They have a cooler with various non-alcoholic beverages in it, and Mike and I chose the classic Orange Crush in the glass bottle and placed an order while we waited for Aaron to show up. Mike ordered a pizza with spinach and artichoke on it, and I ordered a pepperoni pizza for Aaron and I to split. Soon after, an order of Italian Bread Sticks arrived, which is listed as an Italian crust with garlic. We dug into that, and made short work of it. Randy dropped in on us to see how we're doing, and since Aaron is a regular there, they caught up on life for a few minutes, and then he returned to his post behind the counter making pies. Shortly after we finished the bread, our pies came out and they both looked delicious. Not being a fan of the veggies like Mike, I didn't try his, but just the presentation alone was enough to confirm that this was indeed a good pizza. His pizza was smothered in cheese, and fresh ingredients. Both pizzas were ordered with the hand tossed crust, and I could see that the edge of the crusts were proportional to the different size of the pizza, but both were plump and inviting. The pepperoni pizza arrived and I noticed that it too was covered in cheese, which had a good amount of pepperoni tucked underneath. When we pulled out our slices, the cheese was plentiful and stringy between the slices. My impression after the first few bites was nothing less than stellar. The blend of the cheese and pepperoni and sauce was an excellent blend, and none of the ingredients over powered another. The sauce had a slight zing to it, and left me waiting for the next bite. The pepperoni was tasty, bold, but not to detract from the rest of the pizza. The crust was a bit limp towards the center, but not in a bad way, it was what I had expected. The closer you got towards the end the more flavorful the crust became. The crust is made fresh, not frozen like you might find at some other pizza shops, which I feel can make or break a pizza experience. If your crust is bland and soggy, overpowering or crackle thin, it will turn me off. If I want a thin crust, I'll order it. The hand-tossed crust I ordered was right on the mark. Partway thru our meal, Randy brought out some Pizza Fries. Aaron wasted no time on digging into these tasty morsels. It's the garlic crust, loaded with cheese and cut into strips with dipping sauce. The three of us made short work of these and went back to our pizzas. We were getting full, but I didn't mind, I was able to stuff another slice of this great pizza in before calling defeat and boxing up about 1/2 the pizza to take home. Randy dropped by again to ensure our meal was OK, and we assured him it was with full mouths! He noted that he was going to be adding a wood-fired oven in the spring, so I will sure come back to check that out. Randy's also offers some larger pizzas, from 30 up to 48 and also a pizza challenge to eat the 30 pizza in 30 minutes. The bill for for pizzas and drinks came to 37.50 + tip, which split across the three of us, was certainly an excellent value for the meal. I'll certainly return and check out more items on the menu in the near future.

I LOVE Randy's. I like a good, thick amount of sauce, and they deliver with gooey cheese and yummy crust besides. This place IS more expensive than chain pizza joints, but I find it worth the expense. I have never eaten inside their tiny restaurant area, but the people at the counter and the drivers have always been extremely helpful and courteous. There is an online site where you can order, and if you sign up, you can earn points with orders for free food. You can get free pizza fries (basically cheesy breadsticks or mini pizzas) or a free pizza, with enough points. The gluten free pizza from here was the best my roommate has ever had. I find the crust a lot thicker than a regular pizza, but I ate all my pieces with glee. Be aware that, sadly, they are closed Mondays.

As a person who has to follow a gluten free diet it's nice to finally have a gf pizza that tastes amazing. Best gf crust hands. Never gotten sick from the gf pizza. Highly recommend.

I was a huge fan of Randy's, but recently had to go gluten free due to allergies. After trying their gluten free pizza tonight, I am not so saddened by the loss of my bread products. Their gluten free pizza is amazing! Crisp crust, not mushy or soggy at all. I really had a hard time telling the difference between this and a normal thin crust. Highly recommend for anyone with gluten allergy, but still desires a top notch pizza.

This place has great pizza! I was there for a pizza challenge but the rest of our group got pizza for dinner. They all said it was delicious. Aside from the pizza the owner Randy is a very nice guy. He talked to everyone in our group and was very nice. I would definetly recommend this place and when I go back it will be for leisure not competition.

Just ate here for the first time and loved it! I would recommend it for anyone who eats gluten free, because their gluten free crust was delicious. The employees were very friendly. We had ordered to go but decided to sit on the patio and eat for a few minutes, and when they noticed that we had stayed to eat they came and brought waters and silverware. We will be coming back!

Randy got in touch with me after reviewing my first review. The service has been vastly improved and the food continues to be great. He has won me back as a loyal customer and I look forward to all the good eats to come!

My favorite pizza in the area! Staff is always nice and the food is great! I always order take out, so I have no experience with their delivery.

This place rules. I've been coming here for years and Randy's always offers up a killer Chicago-style thin crust. Flavorful sauce, fresh cheese and crispy/chewy crust. I always get takeout, so I can't speak for the buffet, but the food is great. The cheesy bread is awesome too.

Not too bad... Came here to try out their lunch buffet for a couple reasons. The first being I was hungry with some friends for lunch and wanted pizza, the second reason was for an espionage mission. This place has a 30" pizza challenge where if 4 eaters eat a 2 topping 30" pizza in 30 mins you get a t-shirt and don't have to pay for the pizza. Myself and 3 of my friends are hoping to tackle this challenge in a couple weeks and this was a chance for two of the team members to get a feel for the surroundings and the pizza. The pizza itself was pretty good. They use a lot of cheese and sauce so if you like cheese this is a place for you because it is good cheese. the sauce was a bit much for me but it was still pretty good. Overall it was decent. Not my favorite place, but for the challenge I'll be back.

I prefer their pizza fresh to their lunch buffet, which I found to be a little lacking, especially for the price. They really are a mostly delivery place that sort of pretends to have a dining area. Like I said, stick to their delivery or take-out. They have quite a good selection for their delivery pizza. I liked their meatball pizza quite a bit, and their sausage is quite tasty. Their "dessert" pizza was good, too. They do have a 30-inch pizza challenge that sounds interesting. If you lose, you have to pay something like $80, but if you win it's free. You can also just BUY the 30-inch pizza for parties, etc. I guess they also deliver it, which I would REALLY love to see!

Great service and pizza, a solid staple in the area. The actual peperoni was better than most palces and the cheese was very good as well. The focaccia bread appetizer was tasty along with the pizza sauce. A solid bet!

One of my top two favorite pizza places in the twin cities. The pizza fries are to die for. I would actually like some right now....

The pizza fries were awesome, The pizza on the other hand would have been great other than 2 things. One of the things that would have made it better was if it came out of the oven about 2 minutes earlier (too much time seems to shrink the cheese more and bring out more grease on meat toppings which then kinda blends in with the sauce). Also both me and the wife thought the sausage had a funny taste, But Randy told me that was only one kind and they had others, I maybe will try another kind next time as this one for some odd reason tasted more like a ground breakfast sausage or something else but not really like italian sausage and having sausage on a pizza is a requirement of the wife so If that does'nt improve witht trying a different type We probably won't return after that. The crust and the sauce and the other toppings were great but sausage and cheese are important too.Randy the owner seemed nice.

Hands down among the BEST Pizza in the Twin Cities. My sister lives close, and they order the huge Party Pizza for their children's birthday parties. It is tremendous. Incredible sauce, perfect, wonderful cheese and toppings...........my mouth is watering as I type this! Randy has also opened his store early for us to meet a Party Pizza neeed. Nothing else to say here other than this Pizza is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and try it out, if you have not. It is more than worth the drive, if you're not in Oakdale.

This is Great little neighborhood pizza place. The seating is very limited, so you could have a little wait, but it's well worth it. The prices are fair and the pizza is excellent. The staff is very friendly and quick too. I went there with some friends and we all had a really Nice time. Oh, and you might want to save room for a chocolate covered rice Krispy bar. They're bomb!

Had to find a quick pace to eat prior to a movie and we stumbled upon Randy's. Honestly, from the outside we were a bit skeptical. However looks can be deceiving. My wife and l love to find good pizza (it's hard to come by), and we were very satisfied. The Chicago deep dish was very good. Sauce and crust was very fresh. We would definitely go back and try other items on the menu. I definitely recommend the food. The facility can use a little help. Don't let that discourage you.

Writing this review is actually difficult, because I did LOVE Randys pizza. Especially their pizza fries. However, the service, especially from Randy himself, cannot be ignored. Long story short, I had my friend pick up the pizzas we ordered. I bought a card that had coupons on it, and the card needed to be printed. On the phone, I told them that I didnt have the card, Randy said he would reprint a new one, and is it a problem that someone else picks it up due to a scheduling conflict. No problem I was told. My friend got there, was told that she couldnt use the coupon card and was told to leave and I would have to pick up the pizzas. I called, spoke with Randy, and he said "its a really busy time for us, we have 100s of other customers and I cant deal wtih you right now. Its not my problem that my employee told you the wrong information". Please keep in mind that we go to Randys 1-2 times a week and have for 3 years. I told him this and he said that he didnt care and I was just one person and losing my business didnt matter. So, unfortunately, myself, friends and family will not be returning. Over the years I have told many people about Randys because their pizza really is very tasty, however after how he treated both my friend and myself, I cannot in good faith return. I hope that he treats his current and future customers better.

Best pizza around, only comparable to Red's Savoy. Fresh ingredients, great tasting sauce, cut in little squares the old fashioned way, never soggy or greasy. Been going there for 20 years and quality has never flagged - Randy sees to that.

Great Pizza, Reasonable prices. One of the better locally owned pizza joints in the area. Don't let the exterior scare you, the inside is kept up to date, and the pizza is tasty. Your above average, thin crust, square cut, pizza.
