I have always had great experiences ordering delivery and dining in here. I love to order the Minnehaha Greek and my boyfriend loves the spicy chicken. We order it half and half with extra siracha sauce! We once ordered the artichoke dip and I was not a fan AT ALL, so I think we will always stick with pizza; I love the unique combos! The dining room has a foosball table and a pool table (for free) which is another huge draw for us. Not a huge beer/wine/cider selection but enough to always find something we are happy with. We have never had bad service and the restaurant is always clean and cozy and not super busy so we are seated and served quickly. I love this place and would definitely recommend it.

Sometimes, after a Saturday night out, all you want to maybe feel like a human being again is some frickin' pizza delivered to your door. Unfortunately, I live in a bit of a delivery blackout area, so my options are fairly limited. I figured I'd give this place a shot, since it delivers to my door and haha I'm not going outside today. I ordered a really basic pepperoni with extra cheese, because I do not want your fancy nonsense on a day such as this. The cheese was a congealed mess by the time it got to me, but eh. It's good for what it is, which is nothing exceptional. I wish the crust was a bit thinner, but it did the trick. I feel human enough to continue my marathon of Star Trek, which is all I need.

I heard this was great pizza and I had a coupon so we ordered from here last year. It was disgusting. I won't order again.

Some really damn good pizza. Not just once, but every time we order it, I don't really know why I haven't written a review on these guys since we order a pie at least once a month. Consistently really good food. Pies and wings. Always friendly, and, always on time.

Been ordering Parkway's pizzas for a few years now. Love them--from the carnivore special to plain cheese. Always consistently delicious. They also make a fantastic Mac and cheese dish. And the hot wings rock. Great neighborhood place. Highly recommend them. Dine in (they serve wine), or delivery.

The service was bad, we were told get our own table then we did and told we could not have it after sitting at it for a minute. Then they tried to move us 3 more times after we found another table. The ambiance was bad. They had a screwed up pool table in the middle of the room and one group of kids after another were screwing around with it. Whipping the balls around, they were rolling under people's tables. The kids were making braying noises. The food was bad. $18 for a bland thin crust pizza that reminded me of frozen food section pizza. The beer selection was small and they were not inexpensive.

"Mmm...holy s*** that's good." Those were the first word's out of my boyfriend's mouth as we took our first bites of the spicy garlic chicken pizza. It was our first time trying Parkway Pizza, and we both agreed it's the best pizza we've had in quite awhile. We had received some coupons in the mail a few weeks back and, not having much food in the house and not wanting to go anywhere, decided to give it a try. Our pizza arrived within the time frame estimated by the polite person who took our order over the phone (40-45 minutes), and man it was tasty! The crust is awesome--it's thin and crispy, but not so thin that it doesn't hold up to the toppings, and it still has a little bit of chew to it. Perfection! The chicken was extremely well seasoned too, and gotta love the side of sriracha sauce they serve with it. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu items. I really like the fact that they have mock duck, and it can be substituted for the meats at no extra charge. They have a good variety of toppings too, including several kinds of cheese AND vegan cheese, so there's something for everyone.

We started ordering parkway on a whim when we moved to south Minneapolis in 2010. Best decision ever. The supreme combo is my favorite but when unsuspecting friends come over and order other pizzas like sriracha chicken everyone is blown away! The sausage is awesome plus I love a specialty pizza with red onion. The wings are very good as well, better than the rubbery ones from Luce. Okay so one of my absolute favorite things about this place is that they DELIVER TO ME IN SAINT PAUL. I get amazing mpls pizza at my new home in stp. SCORE.

Very tasty and flavorful pizza! And they are not scimpy on the toppings! Will definitely order from here again. Highly recommend.

Went for lunch today and it was really quiet. Parking sucks because they don't have a lot so it's whatever you can find on the street. The pizza was ok. Their sausage was good, but the pizza could have used more. The sauce and crust were ok, but had an odd taste to me. For a thin crust this one was a bit heavy for me, but it was crispy so I will give them that. I wouldn't recommend the cheese bread. It's pretty standard and rather flavorless to me. Overall, I wouldn't make a point of going back.

Nice pizza place in neighborhood. Customer service seems ok. Pretty casual environment, good place to hangout with friends. Decent beer and some great pizza at reasonable price.

I grew up eating really good pizza, so when I moved to Minneapolis from California, I was on a quest to find good pizza (I still am, so if you have any suggestions, let me know!) Although I've found some good places, I haven't found a place that offers the same comfort as my childhood pizzeria. Parkway Pizza's pizza is pretty close. I've had Parkway Pizza about three times and have never been disappointed. I usually ate this pizza as takeout with friends, so we would order a 16" thin crust with one topping. The tomato sauce and cheese combination is perfect and ooey gooey in a good way. Delivery service was pretty good, too. One day I decided to get one on my own because of a Groupon (it's still up as of today) and got the Minnehaha Greek, which was really flavorful with goat cheese, feta cheese, olives, olive oil, and spinach. Greasy comfort...Yum! For this order I had to do pickup, where I saw that the actual restaurant was a nice, casual place. I immediately thought that this is a place I definitely need to come back to with friends one day. Their menu has some awesome offerings and a variety of things, including mock dock pizza! Overall positive experience, but the crabby cashier was definitely a turn off. #attitudereadjustmentplease This is a nice local neighborhood restaurant with good food, so I would highly recommend it. They also have gluten free pizza crust and seem to be pretty vegetarian friendly. It's also accessible by public transit.:)

Thanks to a Groupon, I decided to pop into Parkway Pizza and see what they have going on. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into a nice space that was not at all like the strip mall pizza joint I was imagining (I think it is their non-descript logo that threw me off). There are two large rooms with a mix of booths and tables. The side room has a large screen for sports, a pool table, and foos ball table. Here are the important things to know about this place: 1) The pizza is a delicious thinner crust variety with a range of really good toppings to choose from. 2) They don't charge for substitutions, including subbing mock duck for meat and vegan cheese for regular cheese. 3) Their menu also has pastas and hoagies (and an awesome ice cream sundae). 4) I believe they are a little cheaper than Pizza Luce and Punch. 5) They offer local brews and wine, which between 2-5pm and 8-10pm are $2.50 each. That is a pretty awesome happy hour. We had recently (and very belatedly) discovered Punch Pizza. I have to say that between the two, I think we'd go to Parkway. The pizza can definitely compete and there is a much better chance of not having to wait for a table. P.S. The pico de gallo pizza has become one of my favorite foods! It may sound a little weird (black beans on pizza?), but it is genius!

Great atmosphere and such a cute little place! Pizza was delicious. Not greasy and very fresh. BBQ chicken pizza was a little tangy, but still delicious. Add cilantro for more flavor. Would definitely come back again

You can't wrong with the supreme! The pizza here is great, we rarely order from anywhere else. Their homemade sausage is fantastic! Delivery is usually pretty quick, under an hour even during peak times.

This place is darling. I went for the first time last night and it met all of my needs. I don't even know where to start. Ok, I do. Happy Hour. Everyday, 8-10pm, 2-4-1's. The beers on tap are fairly limited, but they are GOOD beers. This means you pay $5 for 2 beers. Yep, ok. I'll have another. No food happy hour. But prices are good enough, so I'll live with that. Pizza. Delicious, slightly charred crust. Fun toppings, some good combo pizzas. Try the Minnehaha Greek. Goat cheesy. They do cut in squares. WHY? WHY? Why does anyone do that? No one likes it. So, let me set up the back story. I came here for Harry Potter trivia. It was on the patio and so many people came, they brought out the table and chairs from the restaurant. It felt like a big family gathering. The staff were all so wonderful, kept waters full, plates cleared. I'll be returning.

VERY good sausage!!! Love the pizza, location, decor and atmosphere of this neighborhood pizza place! Service is friendly as well! And you can shoot a game of pool or play some foosball while you wait for pizza to be cooked!! With a coupon ($3 off) it's a great way for 4 people to eat out for $22!!

I've been a Parkway customer for many years now, both in the store and delivery. This pizza is a huge hit with our family. It's the fun way to get teenagers to try artichokes and I bring picky adult eaters there, too. It's the perfect mix of sauce and toppings - not stingy on anything. It is pricey but in this instance, you are definitely getting a good value for your money. Use the coupons they give you. The artichoke deluxe is one of our family favorites, with big chunks of artichoke. Spicy garlic chicken has huge flavor. Chicken alfredo is a nice change of pace from tomato sauce. And the pico de gallo is a must-try. I love the new location. We have had several birthday parties there and it was roomy enough for a crowd.

Charred pizza is the new black! And its popularity goes beyond wood/coal-cooked pizzas. Those who master the art of charred pizza are able to discern where "charred" ends and "burnt" begins. And believe me, it's not an easy thing to figure out. It's even more complicated than that; because there are different styles or more precisely different schools of thought! While some believe the only two parts that could and must be charred are the crust and outer edges, others believe that the art lies in the ability to char the cheese without charring the crust. Also, there is this specific line of thought that holds the only black blemishes allowed on pizza are those of sun dried tomatoes! The Parkway's Supreme pizza is an excellent example of good MN style outer-edge-charred pizza. The right smokey flavor of the charred crust blends into the well chosen ingredients' taste and as you bite into your slice, two separate messages from your nose and your mouth go to your brain and collectively inscribe a good memory up there. The place is charming. They deliver late in the night and if you call in your order, it will be ready in 15mins, even in the busiest hours.

In our quest to find pizza places that deliver since we've moved to the area, we figured we'd start with Parkway. I ordered online and the system was very easy although you are unable to request double items on a pizza (I like double pepperoni). You are also strongly encouraged to tip the driver via credit card-like....super strongly. The pizza and cheesy bread came within the promised time (about 40 minutes) and was hot and smelled amazing. We opened the cheesy bread box first and could hardly wait to sink our teeth into the cheesy goodness that was infront of us. The cheese was think, the seasonings were great, and I'll order it again. The pizza itself was very big (16") and easily fed two, probably SHOULD have fed three. :) The cheese was again super thick and the slices were cut into squares. The sauce was a little runny and "wet" for my liking but trust me-it went down just fine. I'll be interested in trying their other items and will definitely order delivery from here again!

Great pizza and staff! The beer list is small but good. You can order a half and half pizza. The supreme is amazing. The wings are good. The garlic toast and cheese toast are a bit dry for my taste. The salads are big and good. Fresh sausage is the bomb! Fun interior and a room for private parties! A few seats at the "bar". Stop on in, get an order to go or pickup a pizza and take it home!! Get here now and do not forget your coupons!!!

My go-to Za joint at the moment. I tried it many years ago and wasn't too impressed, but as of recent they have picked up their game. Awesome supreme pizza, the sausage is so good I don't care how its made. I haven't tried everything on the menu but the Za is great, salads are deec, and rice krispy treats are...well... as they should be if they have them. I think the employees tend to eat them before they hit the market. Delivery is on time. Southside reprezent!

I say it's the best pizza I've ever had in the Twin Cities hands down! A couple decades living here and all I had to do was move to East Minneapolis to find this gem. For the last 6 years this place has been getting our business at least monthly. The kids all want to come to our house because we get Parkway Pizza for birthday's, sleepovers, and random visits... Pretty much if you are having company and you want to give them something delicious and memorable order from this place. I'm going to reach back to the 90's with this next statement so forgive me... Their sandwiches are the BOMB! A real punch in the mouth from all of the bold and fresh flavorful ingredients. Including the gooey cheese (if you want or are into cheese). Also, you will never regret their gluten free pizza which is so tasty you won't feel lacking in the crust department at all. Darn that harsh winter for ruining my yard sign.... *shrugs* Oh well, there are plenty more in the neighborhood that speak of the collective love we have for this place. And before I forget, the new location looks and feels AMAZING! A great place for date night, hanging with the girls/ fellas/ and/or families.

Went out for pizza here the other night with some friends, and we had a great time! My friend recommended that we go at 8, so that we could catch their 2-for-1 happy hour special for tap beer. So we ordered up a bunch: Pesto cheese bread (yummmmmm) Supreme pizza (my friend had a coupon for) 1/2 canadian bacon - - 1/2 spicy garlic chicken pizza Service was friendly and fast. There weren't too many other customers to check on, so she did a great job checking up on us. But the pizza tasted super good. The crust wasn't thick, nor thin. It was really good!

Solid pizza joint. There subs are dynamite. Pizza is above average, but not top notch. I had a combo sub with turkey, ham, and salami and I will def. order it again. Dinner salad was pretty tasty as well, although it's a bit overpriced. Overall, I was very happy with my order.

I found this to be a decent neighborhood pizza joint that seems a bit disorganized. Now I admit that this review is based on a single take-out experience so it may not be entirely representative. That said, I ordered a 12" Chicken Alfredo pie, Cheese Garlic Toast (4), Hot Wings, 2 Caesar Salads and 2 cans of soda. When I arrived my order had just been placed on the table behind the register. The cashier ran the check and said the total was $41.30. From that I knew they charged me for all items. The only issue? What they set on the counter in front of me as a complete order lacked the 2 Caesar salads and the Hot Wings. If I'd been in a hurry I could easily have missed this until reaching my destination. That would have been a bummer. When I pointed out the omissions there was some confusion and some shouting back and forth in the kitchen. The cashier kept looking at the check and back at me in a way that suggested she thought I was trying to run some kind of scam. The wings were produced in a couple of minutes but oddly enough the salads seemed to leave them utterly flummoxed. By the time they finally arrived the pizza had been steaming in the box much longer then it had to. For what it's worth it was flavorful and well made but would have been better if it had been HOT. The wings were OK. The Cheese Toast was a bit soggy. In retrospect I should have told them to just skip the mediocre salads and been out of there much sooner and saved the $9.50. If you live in the neighborhood you already know about this place and have made up your mind. If you don't, it's not worth a special trip.

The last two times I've eaten here, I've gotten pizza with practically raw crust.. In fact, it was raw! And the servers haven't been very helpful (actually annoyed) when you mention it. I'd love to support this place but they need to start cooking their pizzas or just advertise it as a 'take and bake' joint.

This place is great. Food is good but it is a bit hectic in the place so i wouldn't go there if i wanted a place to chill. It is quite busy almost all the time and all the people seem to be pretty good at customer service. I have had the hoagies and really liked the meatball. Pizza is all good

Awesome, local pizza!!! The sauce is semi-sweet and complex. All ingredients are locally sourced too which is a bonus. They have a few booths so you can dine in and serve beer and wine (and probably other drinks?) Service was attentive and truly genuine. It's also important to note that they have 10" gluten-free crusts available for an additional $3. My gluten-free dining companion reported it was an amazing gluten-free pizza. Cheers to Parkway Pizza!

Best pizza in South Mpls! My favorite is their sausage pizza but I've sampled many of their house combos and they are all very yummy. I always do pick up and never had a problem - it's always fast and friendly!

I am very lucky to live so close to Parkway Pizza. The pizza is excellent. The homemade sausage is a MUST try. The BBQ Chicken pizza is also excellent. I'm not a big BBQ pizza lover, but Parkway's is the best I've ever had, but a huge margin. The sauce is tangy but not too sweet or overpowering. I love the new location, the service is always great. The cheese bread app is great too. There are other menu items like sandwiches and salads, but in my opinion, it is sacrilege to go to Parkway and not have the pizza. This is at the top of the best pizza places in the Twin Cities.

I'm super impressed that this place delivers to Highland Park in St. Paul. I was at my son's place and stole his coupons that were in the mail. Actually it was Amir's review that sent me here the next day. The manager was showing a delivery person how you can take a credit card with the new gadget right at the door. A large is huge and there is one up that is just enormous. I think we had the supreme, and the pizza sauce and toppings are excellent. If I lived in Highland I would get delivery from here often, when I didn't feel like Luce's. They are very generous about their coupons too.

Not kid friendly. Bad service. I went in for lunch with my daughter after a day at the falls. Stood at the door for 5 minutes before anyone greeted me to tell me sit "wherever you want". I waited another 5 minutes to see the same person bring me a menu. Mind you there was only two other people in the whole place at noon. Telling by the amount of people at lunch time I should've been skeptical. I asked for a kids menu because I was with my 2 year old. She explained the kids order off the adult menu. They don't have kids menus so you have to pay full price for your toddler that eats 1/4 of the mac n cheese that I ordered. The order for the mac n cheese and a hoagie took 42 minutes. granted they may have had some togo orders but it took way way too long. I Ordered the Spicy Hoagie. It was six inches long and had 4 slices of salami, 6 slices of pepperoni, cheese and jalapeno's. I asked for no Canadian bacon. Ridiculously overpriced for $8.50. The Mac n cheese is served in a skillet that comes straight from the oven. I asked for a plate to serve it to my daughter and didn't see the server again until she came with the bill. Service here sucks and the food is overpriced. Save your money and time and find somewhere else.

Gluten-Free Pizza? Check Gluten-Free Beer? Check All the items on the menu listed available? Nope We stopped in on a Friday night to check this place out, it was in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so about a block away we began to wonder if it was going to be in someone's basement. The weather was still decent, so we ate outside. It wasn't too clear if you went up to the counter or just sat yourself or how things worked, so we meandered around until we were seated. They didn't have any cider, at least none listed, but they had Bard's gluten-free beer, which I'd never had, so I tried it out. We split a salad, and then a pizza. I was hoping to try the Spicy Garlic chicken, but alas, they no longer served it (or had it? I wasn't sure which was which). We ended up splitting the BBQ Chicken instead. It was pretty good, even for being gluten-free. I'd like to try it again sometime, but the limited seating inside looks like it would be a good summertime hangout.

I cam here on the tip that they served vegan pizza. I was feeling in a pizza and beer mood. I ordered the artichoke pizza with daiya vegan cheese. The service was prompt and the food came in a timely manner. I was having an early dinner, but the place was surprisingly crowded. There was a large group that had many kids. I was entertained watching them try to play pool. Over all, good food that is easy and convenient.

When in Minnesota, you get the drift... Well this place does any awesome delivery of whatever you want in a pizza. Totally wish we had something like this here in the Tidewater area. Ordered a Chicken, garlic slices, tomatoes, basil, white cheese pizza and can't remember exactly what the other one was, but that doesn't really matter. What mattered the most was the absolute explosion of your taste buds with one bits. The Garlic slices were actual garlic slices, everything was just so fresh and in the middle of February! I would go back to the Snow and Cold just for one of these pizzas!

This place is amazing. We live in the area and come here frequently. The pizza is great & we love the flexibility to 'build your own'. Also - very vegetarian friendly with the option to sub mock duck for no extra charge. Service is always quick and friendly. Prices are great as well! They have a wonderful (cheap) reverse HH special too! Highly highly recommend this place! It can be a bit noisy, so if you are looking for an intimate dinner, this may not be the spot for you... In the summer they have a patio seating as an option as well! They also deliver!

We've received coupons from Parkway Pizza before - but until a recent visit to Du Nord's cocktail room, I hadn't actually seen the menu and assumed that Pizza Luce would continue to be my safest bet for vegan pizza options. While waiting for my drink at Du Nord, I glanced down at the menus that Parkway printed (they deliver to the cocktail room) and noticed that "vegan cheese" and "mock duck" were both topping options! We had dinner at home that night but I spent a week craving pizza so we finally decided to put our coupon stack to good use and order one from Parkway. The coupon we decided to use was a "$20.50 for 3-topping 16-inch" and included tax + free delivery. We tried to order from the website but as we attempted to get to the payment/punchout portion of the site, our order was deleted...so, we wound up calling it in - and they were kind enough to accommodate our request for a half and half pizza, a necessity when one of us eats neither meat nor cheese and the other would like extra of both...! The order came within 30-45 minutes, per the website's promise, and the extra cheese and meaty side looked decent...like the delivery pizza of my childhood. The vegan cheese/mock duck/pineapple/jalapeno side, however, was a bit sadder. From Yelp, I read that Parkway uses Daiya. I am assuming this has changed because when I make my own pizza - or order Daiya-topped from Luce - the "cheese" becomes melty. Sure, it is never going to look like real cheese and cook-time might be a little more precarious if you're doing a half real cheese/half vegan, but the vegan cheese was straight up cold and showed no signs of even partial melting. The sauce was also a bit bland (I added red pepper flakes and garlic salt from our kitchen to spruce it up a bit) but I did like the crust! And crust is pretty important. Overall I wasn't blown away by any means - but I would order again just to mix things up/give them another shot. Maybe I'll try either entirely cheeseless or a pizza with ONLY vegan cheese to see if they cook it long enough to get meltier. Again, I appreciate the option to get vegan ingredients from another pizza joint in town, I just wish the execution were a bit better.

I have lived I the area for a year and a half and am a fan of Parkway Pizza but since they relocated to Minnehaha Ave it's been difficult to find parking so I have not been at their establishment for some time. Delivery is fast and even if the estimated time is an hour they hit in less time, but I feel guilty ordering delivery when I am capable of picking up, but with available parking being an unknown it's just easier. Last night I had a pizza worthy of being on their ads. I have to say by far the best pizza I have had from them. Generous toppings and something more creamy about the cheese. I can't stop talking about it. Thank you Parkway.

Great "Minneapolis-style" pizza. Super good hoagies. I live nearby and treat myself to delivery occasionally. It's always delivered really quick and hot! I also enjoy dining in and playing a round of pool. It's such a cozy spot. If you're looking for awesome pizza in minneapolis, Parkway should be on your list (along with Black Sheep and Fat Lorenzo's). So good.

Excellent homemade sausage AND red sauce - perfectly matches my palate! Both recipes are perfectly seasoned - subtly - so flavors are melded, without any single flavor being too aggressive. Sausage is mildly spicy, with garlic and fennel overtones. M-M-M Red sauce has a suggestion of spicy, sweet and basil - so good! Don't drive ( vision problems) so glad to have discovered this place last summer, 2 blocks from home. Have been back at least weekly since. Love the pizza crust - crispy and thin. Light enough to take a costar role, and serve as the vehicle for the wonderful toppings! Good balance. Usually get 1 of 2 favorite pizzas - Arichoke/Blanco (vegetarian) - and the Supreme. Often start out with the inexpensive and generous Cesar , house salad or chicken Cesar (entree salad) Great homemade Cesar dressing! Have not tried pasta entrees, but no need , 'cause I really need to feed my serious cravings for the sausage hogie - a generous portion of the amazing sausage, bathed in Delicious red sauce...Heaven! Just realized they deliver this weekend...a big plus when the weather is too cold for the walk. Small, neighborhood place with unremarkable decor, but always spotlessly clean. Popular place for family dinnertime. (fuzzball table and billiards table are enjoyed by young kids. This can make for a TOO noisy, energy-charged dining experience... I try to avoid eating in around usually family dining times.

This place is great, its cute, has indoor and outdoor seating friendly staff, the food is solid although they need to tweak their chicken hoagie it totally tastes like quiznos (not a compliment, go visit fat lorenzos and start over), a few great beers on tap and a pool table! I cant wait to try out the happy hour, if we could just get rid of the 800 children in the place it would be my new favorite hang out.

We waited an hour and half for our pizza and it was cold as well when it was finally delivered. They shouldn't put fliers out if they can't deliver in our neighborhood by the time they quoted it would take. The pizza might have been half way decent if it wasn't cold. I would recommend either Chris & Robs or Fat Lorenzos over this place.

We moved to the neighborhood a couple of years ago and so Parkway has become our "local pizza joint." Parkway is likely one of the best pizza joints in the Twin Cities. The crust is great, the sauce is amazing, and there's something about the cheese that makes it irresistible. We never eat there or have it delivered...why wait when it's just a couple blocks? That being said, the inside is a little awkward, but they do have foosball should you need to wait for your order to finish up. The restaurant is kind of tucked away among the neighborhood, so be sure to watch out. The only possible negative is the price...they are a little more spendy than other places, but they do use local where possible and we're more than happy to support the locals.

Why haven't I written a review for this place yet!? I love Parkway Pizza!! Nice service, great good, decent beers. Their supreme salad is a yummy way to start the meal followed up by any of their pizzas. I do recommend their sausage though. And soon they will be moving to a new location with a roof top patio! Sounds like I'll be indulging in too much pizza this summer. I'm lucky to have this gem in my neighborhood.

Great pizza in a nice residential area of southeast Minneapolis. I read on their website before ordering that they use locally grown ingredience, grind their own sausage, buy cheese from a local dairy cooperative and reference god, 20 spices and 30 years experience when talking about their sauce. So I just had to give it a try. And I must say it was pretty darn good. The sauce, sausage and cheese were top notch for both flavor and abundance. However I am dropping one star because of their crust. They advertise thin and crispy, but mine turned out to have a texture of a toasted soft flatbread. The crust had great flavor, but was just not as thin or as crispy as I was hoping for. None the less, I'll be a regular.

I have to say my initial impression of Park Way pizza wasn't the best, but since then they have more than redeemed themselves!!! The pizza is great and they have improved upon their delivery times greatly as well! I used to always get Luce, but have now converted. The ingredients taste fresher at Parkway and they offer all the same great veggie options!!

The pizza here is always good. Everyone who tries it when I buy it say "Wow, this is really good!". Enough said. they just started serving beer and wine within the last year. Outdoor seating, close to Minnehaha Park and Falls. Billiard tables. Clean. It is all good.

If you are looking for a local pizza place in south minneapolis without the frills this is the place for you. It's only been around for a little while so the staff is very warm and welcoming and will go over the top in hopes of a return visit. The dining area isn't anything special, but the selection of bottled beers makes up for it. Another perk is definitely the free foosball and pool. And now for the pizza...they make their own sauce and ground their own sausage which make the pizza extra special! If you want an adventure ask for the BERNIE. It's not on the menu, but they will make if you ask. This pizza has sausage, sauerkraut and sardines. I know this sounds way out there, but we went with a large group and all the guys couldn't get enough of this one!

This is our go-to pizza delivery joint when we're not in the mood to spend $30 on a Pizza Luce pie. Sorry Luce, we've fallen out of your target income bracket what with the economy and all. Even though they cut their pizza into squares (what is WITH that?) it's good! Really good! The crust is thin and arrives suitably crispy. We just had the Artichoke Deluxe which has artichokes (big and juicy!), tomatoes, green olives, and spinach. I highly recommend it, even for people who say they don't like olives on their pizza.

Decent pizza for a small neighborhood place. They also have free pool and foosball while you wait which is nice. I would say this place has a lot of potential to possibly be a cool hang out one day. Call me crazy but I think its true... The pizza was decent but nothing I would go out of my way for. It is thin crust and cut into squares which sometimes is very delicious. They also have some decent beers in the bottle and that was a nice surprise as well.

My husband and I LOVE Parkway Pizza. It's one of those places that you can't wait for your friends to try too, because you know they'll love it. Delivery is always very quick as well as quick service for dine-in. We were really happy to see they finally offer beer and wine too! The pizza is excellent. The red sauce is one-of-a-kind and very delicious. The crust is thin and perfectly crispy around the edges. I like having my pizza cut in squares and that's what they do here. I recommend the pesto cheese bread to get started with and the hot wings aren't bad either. My favorite item at Parkway are the hoagies. They've perfected their technique over the last few years and now they've nailed it. In my opinion, they're better than Davanni's or Carbone's hoagies!

SCORE.

Saw a billboard on the way to watching a movie at the river view so had to stop after the movie for a bite. Seat yourself, they have plenty of booths and some outdoor tables. Charming neighborhood joint! We ordered a 12" supreme with buffalo wings and a order of pesto toast. Everything was good. You could tell the wings were prob frozen because the side that was touching foil clung on losing a part of the chicken. I love the fact they have two hh slots and serving local brews on tap. We'll prob stop in again when we are hungry in the Longfellow neighborhood

So good.

We live just blocks away from Parkway Pizza, and it has become our default pizza joint. The pizza is fantastic, the staff is very friendly, and if you happen to dine in it has a very warm neighborhood feel. Highly recommended.

So good.

SCORE.

  • Carolyn B.

  • Sarah M.

Nice pizza place in neighborhood. Customer service seems ok. Pretty casual environment, good place to hangout with friends. Decent beer and some great pizza at reasonable price.

Pico de Gallo pizza was excellent. Kids pastas looked great but was lukewarm in the middle. But tasted good. Would recommend.

Love the homemade sausage and neighborly atmosphere. We used to order Delanos all the time. Parkway has a comparable pizza minus all the grease add local fresh ingredients and a close to home location equals Better! Great specials on beer too!

We live just blocks away from Parkway Pizza, and it has become our default pizza joint. The pizza is fantastic, the staff is very friendly, and if you happen to dine in it has a very warm neighborhood feel. Highly recommended.

  • Nathan L.

This pizza is amazing! As others have said the sausage is awesome! I would go out of my way to get this pizza. I would also recommend a good pepperoni and onion pizza. The new owners have really made this place top notch! Keep up the good work!

This place has the BEST FRESH HOMEMADE SAUSAGE!! The pizza crust is wonderful, the sauce is unique and the service is always A++. John and Lee are the BEST!! I only mention these two guys because everytime I stop in theyre the guys in the front. Great service and WONDERFUL pizza!

I really like their carry out. No, there's no wood-fired this or sun-dried that, but it's good stuff when you need to please a mixed group or the kids are sick of Papa Murphy's.
