Food is good. Not off the charts fantastic but still pretty good. Meet friends there on a regular basis and have always had a pleasant time. Good service, good food, good time!!!

Came here for happy hour and was not disappointed! Very nice atmosphere and good service that came along with great deals! I did a little research before choosing Rudy's and saw that they have a good happy hour from 4-6pm. They offer different appetizers for $6-8 so we decided to go with the Spinach Artichoke Dip for $6. They also have daily specials so we had the options of discounted Fajitas, Quesadillas, Nachos, Chips and Salsa, and Margaritas and Daiquiris for "Fiesta Tuesdays". We ordered the Quesadillas from the Tuesday special menu (a smaller portion is available for happy hour) and each got a margarita for $4.50! The Spinach Artichoke dip was delicious and came with bread, a few pita tortillas, and grapes. The dip was hot and the bread was very soft and lightly buttered. It was the perfect size for an appetizer. The quesadillas were a good portion and came with lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, black olives, salsa, and sour cream. They were good but similar to quesadillas you can get most places. The decor is very nice with dimmed lighting with red tones and roses on each table. Our server was very friendly and got everything ready for us (drinks, food, bill) very quickly. I did not take a look at their normal menu but I would go back for happy hour again!

Very nice! I was advised that walleye is a local favorite, so I ordered the fried walleye entree. It wasn't greasy, wasn't over-battered, and was quite lovely. I think there was parmesan in the breading, too. I really liked the signature green beans as well. A bit of a miss on the dirty rice, but it wasn't bad. Just not the Creole that I'm used to. Good service. Well done, Rudy's!

Great place. Service was amazing. Thank you Ashley. Pan Fried Walleye was off the hook, literally. Delicious and the bar is great too. Sat on the patio on a beautiful night. And it's a 50 yard walk back to my room as it's attached to the Holiday Inn.

Absolutely embarrassingly horrible service and completely incompetent staff - manager and bartenders. Sorry, Angela, we adore you, but your staff needs an overhaul. Until that happens, I will not be back. Let me know when you have replaced every last one of them. I have a whole crew of friends who won't be back, either. You need to fix this or your business will suffer.

To be fair, I have never liked this restaurant. Noisy, crowded, and expensive to go with mediocre food and service. We went out with friends, and they chose the spot. In spite of my past experiences at Rudy's, sometimes you just have to go with the flow. As luck would have it, it was quiet at Rudy's tonight, which is very rare for a Saturday. So, there was no excuse for the poor service and the extremely forgettable meal I had. The server was hardly visible for long stretches, never once asked about our food, never once asked to take a second drink order or offered coffee after the meal. He got impatient when the women in our party were deciding on desserts. Where he was rushing off to I have no idea, because there was no one else there. The chicken meal I ordered was a real disappointment. The asparagus was great and the potato was fine, but the chicken breasts were the driest pieces of meat I have ever had in a restaurant. Extremely disappointing. One of those hockey pucks is still in my refrigerator, but I'm not sure how to make it edible. Next time somone suggests this restaurant, I'll politely suggest something better. I've had it with Rudy's.

I stayed in the attached hotel with co-workers, and we had our breakfast here. I ordered hot tea and the VAL-U-MEAL thingy with two eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes. The tea, first off, had all of one non-herbal selection, which was green tea, so meh to that. The potatoes were described such that one might think they were hash browns, but they were actually just those cubed potatoes that come frozen in bags from the Sysco truck (or regional equivalent, I'm from Houston). Speaking of soulless industrial food, my scrambled eggs were bad. Seriously bad. You know the tasteless, mushy, water leaking crap you get in really bad breakfast spots? Yup, these were they. Toast and bacon were nominal, but seriously disappointing food overall.

The place was good, not great. It's within stumbling distance of the hotel. It is over priced. The pork chop was excellent, but those 'famous' green beans were not good. Next time I will try another place.

My husband and I were booted from the in-laws' house so they could have some grandparent time with our daughter... so we went to Rudy's. On a Saturday night, we expected to see the place packed, since upscale(ish) dining in Lakeville seems a little few and far between. There was one other table when we were seated, and we began to worry that the food court in Target would have been a better choice. I ordered a steak salad, and the husband ordered the Cajun pasta dish with chicken and sausage. Both were excellent, the prices seemed good, and the menu seemed huge. Our waiter wasn't on top of his game, but maybe he wasn't feeling us. Who knows? We liked it, and will be back on our next trip.

My husband and I Made a reservation for 8:00 on valentines day. Arrived at 7:45 and were not seated until 8:30 at a table big enough for eight people. Awkward...Service was very slow and the large screen tv in front of us had sweaty bloody boxing on. Nice romantic effect? Ew. I actually called from my cell phone to the restaurant to change the channel since we couldn't get any wait staff flagged. The saving grace of the night was the delicious meatloaf. It was the best I've ever had. It almost made up for the terrible service. Almost.

Losin' steam.....Used to be really great, but the quality is goin down while the prices are goin' up. I will say that the Lakeville one is better than the Rosemount one.

Decent atmosphere, but the food quality doesn't match the price for me. Drinks are expensive too. A lot of middle-aged singles like to hang out here.
