I have been there twice, the second time was to meet up with family not by choice, there will not be a third time. The service here is unbelievably bad. The first time we went it took very long to order our food and it wasn't hot. The second time we went it took very long to order our food it wasnt' hot, and it took forever to remove dirty dishes. I actually saw my pizza sit out on the hot zone for about 10 minutes before they brought it to me, I'm afraid to complain because I would probably be in there for an additional hour until they realized someone was complaining. As we were waiting for our food, I saw the waitress and her long unkempt hair making it's way into the pizza of another customer. This place is horrible, I would not go back if I was given a free meal. If this is the up front staff, I would hate to see the kitchen staff who prepare my food.

I don't understand why this restaurant gets so many bad reviews. I think the pizza here is excellent. Staff is friendly and the environment is cozy at lunchtime. Not quite good enough for five stars but one of the best pizzas in the area.

Had lunch with my husband. Not too busy.. We were greeted warmly and showed to a table. Our server came promptly and got our drink orders. service was great, food was good, altogether a nice lunch.

If I was able to rate this place it would be a zero New Year's Eve. 4 couples with a reservation at 7 we are seated at 7:20. Why? Restaurant is s empty but the tables haven't been bussed. 6 servers standing around. Order drinks and wait and wait. Order food. Had to ask for our salads. Get those and wait 5 minutes for silverware. Server comes and hands them to us. Says "here pass these around". ??? What? Wait and wait for our food. One persons was forgotten she waits longer. By the way tables around us still dirty. Talk to the manager she offers desert really? Why? So we can wait more? We tell her we have plans at 9 and need to go. We wait another 15 minutes for the bills. Manager says if you have cash it will be faster. I was the only one at the table with cash. I felt lucky... Until she comps anyone who didn't have cash? Again. Wtf. I sat through the same crappy service. Computers down doesn't keep you from bussing tables. Making sure we have silverware. I will not be back. To any green mill . Ever! Happy new year people. Hire better managers that lead a team.

Green Mill is usually one of my favorite places to eat at when I visit Minnesota. I went to another one of their locations north a couple days earlier and had a fantastic experience there (sorry, don't recall the exact location...a relative took us there and I am not sure where it was located.) But I remember where this location is.. I've been there twice. We got there about 4 or 4:30 or so. The place wasn't busy. I ordered a custom made calzone. When I order a custom calzone I am prepared for a 20 minute wait. What I wasn't prepared for was a 40 minute wait. And no apology. Not even a simple word of explanation. The waitress was nice enough in keeping the refills coming but geez, how hard is it to communicate to the customer if there is a problem in the kitchen??? Green Mills can be kind of hit and miss...this one is rather miss. I will say the calzone was perfectly cooked and DELICIOUS. But really...the wait was far too much to tolerate without any apology or attempt at an explanation.

Pizza and wings are great! Everything else is mediocre. Recommend the Il Primo pizza and boneless wings in the diablo sauce ( not hot like it sounds).

Stopped in with my family for a quick bite. It was mid afternoon on a weekday so the place wasn't very busy. We orderred the spinach dip as an app and the, Extreme Supreme Pizza. We have been to the Uptown location MANY times as my life lived near there for almost 10 years. The spinach dip at that location was usually pretty good. At the Lakeville location, it came out immediately, a smaller portion than we were used to and pretty stale bread. Kids seemed to like it. Our server was also the bartender. Somewhat unenthusiastic. When th epizza came, it was undercooked, with hot adn cold spots throughout. We ended up taking more than half of it home and reheating it ourselves and it was pretty good then. Typical Green Mill menu, but they really could put a little more effort into it.

My parents really enjoy this restaurant and we decided to try the deep dish pizza and share a salad three-ways. It was a fantastic choice. There is not a whole lot of things better in this world than the combination of beer and pizza. I was very impressed and cannot wait to try more of their menu!

We really like our local Green Mill. The food is great and they have a great tap beer selection. We really like the bar tending group. They are great and they do a good job. They have a good happy hour special as well. It's affordable but seems warm and more upscale than the usual sports bars in the area. Our local watering hole!

The drinks are very expensive, the service is slow, and they care more about their staff than the guests. Granted the food is great, its almost not worth it knowing you'll wait 20 minutes for your drink to get to your table. Its a fun place to hang out, but not ideal if you're looking for a smooth dinner.

HH - $3 for a glass of "house wine", tall domestic tap beer, or rail drinks. $4.99 for certain appetizers. The house merlot wine was not good tasting at all. The buffalo chicken bites appeared to be *real* pieces of chicken - they were pretty good - a nice kick to the sauce and a great, thick & chunky blue cheese dressing on the side. After drinking a bit of that bad merlot, ordered a tall domestic tap - it tasted flat, stale. To brighten up the taste, asked for some lime slices and green olives. They helped out a lot. The pizzas we shared were just o.k. Nothing special. But then, again, what would one expect coming here? While our waiter appeared to be sort of 'sleepy', he served our needs well.

Opening caveat: the 4 stars is as a Lakeville dining choice. Otherwise, it's a 3 star kind of place: good food, basic decor, okay beer selection, decent service. But for dining options in Lakeville, Green Mill is where it's at. The beer selection is good - look at the chalkboard or ask your server, as the printed menu just gives the basics, so you'll miss most all the good stuff if you go by the printed menu. I've always gone to the Eagan location, mainly because I'd be holed up in a hotel near there, but now that I'm an AV denizen again, I figured I'd try the Lakeville location, as it's closer. Food is the same as the other locations, which means you can get all your basic happy hour stuff and you can get decent pizza, with a choice of 3 crusts (deep dish, their Pescara, which is basically a seasoned, herbed crust, or plain). Calzones are good, but not as good as Old Chicago. There are other dining choices. I've had various salads, which are good, and I've munched on most all of their happy hour choices. They can make some decent drinks at the bar. Don't expect much of anything from their house wines (but really, can you *ever* expect much of house wines?)? As for the beer selection, per above, check with your server or bartender to make sure you have the full selections avaialble. They'll always have a seasonal of some kind and again, it's not Old Chicago's selection of beers, but they serve a lot more than Budweiser and Leine. Nice thing about the Lakeville location - it's nowhere near as crowded as the other locations. Service was okay - nothing special, but nothing wrong either. Funny moment when I saw one of the line chefs totally rocking out to either imaginary music or a stashed iPod or MP3 player - he was really gettting into it. Ah, my days as a youth in the restaurant industry - free food and discounted drinks. Rock on, dude.

I like the pizza of green mill when I'm in lakeville, I think it is the best option around. I also like the choices of pasta. I had just okay service last night. So, Nothing to complain about and nothing to rave about. I had two beers which both were good. They have an okay beer selection, but nothing like the Green Mill in St. Paul on Grand. I got two apps because I believe the full menu was no longer available at the time I got there or maybe I just wasn't handed the full menu? I believe the cost was reasonable for a sit down restaurant. The food was a little slow to come out but I was starving which likely caused my impatient feeling. I used to work for Green Mill and I like that all there food is made in house and not reheated from a box.

The front of the house is always top notch, but too many times the food really slow to come out of the kitchen. Not always the right order, Food and pizza always outstanding and we'll be back despite the wait.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
