Mixed drinks--I doubt that they contain any alcohol at all. I have to agree with the previous reviewer about the drinks at the Railhouse Grill in Lake City. I don't drink very often and am a lightweight. I have one drink with dinner and know it. Hit this place for dinner and had THREE drinks in the course of an hour and a half (note drink prices are NOT on the menu that I could see) and ... nothing. They tasted great, but were they Kool-Aid?

Excellent burgers, fries, shaved onions, walley fritters, salad- it was all yummy! Great service, wish we lived closer to visit more often! 5 stars all the way!!

Always been really happy with the service and food. Good micro-brew beer, great atmosphere, what more can you ask for.

Fun atmosphere, grilled chicken cranberry sandwich on cranberry wild rice bread was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Nothing like you've ever had before.

Let me preface this by saying my brother and I are vegan and most of our party was vegetarian. This seemed like a brand new concept for the wait staff. We asked about dressings and she couldn't list them off to save her life. It was a little embarrassing. My brother asked for the balsamic vinaigrette and beware - it was just the vinegar. They did alright with bringing us everything we ordered with exception of a sundae for a birthday in our party that the waitress never brought even though we asked twice. The bathrooms were clean and the dining room was tidy. I understand that this isn't a place people typically would go with diet restrictions but we are visiting for the week and wanted to try the place out that seems to be a rave and probably is for those that are well accommodated for.

This place took was surprisingly pleasant. Good bloody marys, even with a pepperoni! Be sure to try the house-made ginger ale. I'm not usually a fan but this tasted sweeter than usual. We were being so indecisive because there a lot of options! The rail egg rolls ( something like that) were nicely paired with chipotle sauce. The black beans added a nice touch. For the pizza's we were torn between about 4 or 5 of them. Ended up with two personal, which we shared. One would have even been enough to share. Wow! The Philly one didn't sit with me well. I think it was the cheese I didn't enjoy. Let's talk about the Mac n cheese pizza! Delicious, bacon-y and perfectly cheesy. I was thinking that the croutons and bacon were going to be too much and I wouldn't like it. I was so wrong. Cheesy and satisfying!! Tiramisu was big and so good. Not made in house, but a nice ending to the meal.

What a great surprise nestled away of the Main Street of Lake City. Rail rolls for an app was a great mix of southwest chicken, black bean salsa, cheddar cheese with chipotle ranch dip. Chicken salad sandwich on cranberry wild rice bread was outstanding. Spinach artichoke burger is a must, fries were super crispy. Coffee shop next door is something we're going to have to come back and try.

Set I the old railroad depot this is a comfortable place for a meal with either dining room separated from the bar which is nice for conversation and not having to hear the TV noise. Nice variety and decent service. Large portions and reasonable prices too, We both had pasta dishes which were interesting- Cajun steak tips and a Mediterranean fish with spinach , olives and feta. Plus there is live music on weekends in the lounge which would make for a fun evening. Not bad for a small town place.

I'm from Michigan and was visiting extended family in Minnesota. My Aunt lives in Lake City and there aren't many places to eat. Every year we visit, we end up going to The Railhouse Grill. I remember it being way better the first time I visited. I had ordered their tomato bisque. I remember it being good but it was luke warm, so I sent it back. I also ordered the chicken cesar wrap, that was delicious! This next time I ordered their Mac n cheese burger. The French fries were about the best thing on my plate. My burger I ordered medium and it was medium well, or should I say extremely dry and burnt. The Mac n cheese was like something from out of a box. I was a little disappointed, I would have imaged it super delicious. My mom ordered the chicken cesar salad and it came with no dressing. Our waitress was friendly but the amount of people dining vs the amount working...our waitress also disappeared for quite awhile. And from where we were sitting I could see the prepared food before it came to the table. I think my burger sat there for 10 minutes before the rest of our food went. Which only grossed me out because of the fruit and regular flies around the dining area.

Called to ask for reservations for group of nine coming in for dinner. They explained that they take no reservations and would not put two tables together so the group could eat together. They certainly were not willing to do anything to accommodate us. They did not want our business.

This was a great place for steak! My medallions were prepared to order (medium rare) and If you order your steak well done ... We'll as they would say in the old days , go fuck ya self! Nah but really this place had great food. Don't skip on tap beer either!

Great beer and good food. Has a cute coffee shop on the front (called the Depot). Recommend the walleye fritter po' boy with a grain belt (the "friendly beer").

Food was excellent and service was top-notch. Prices very reasonable. Only negative is overlit bar vibe but if in Lake City I would put this near top of the list. I had Mediterranean pasta with shrimp which was delicious.

My husband and I enjoyed a dinner here with our two kids and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and well presented. I would highly refined the nachos and the shrimp buffet on Tuesdays.

Erin was an excellent server. The Tomato Bisque is to die for, wish it was a permanent item on the menu. We feel cheated when we come & they don't have it. Best side salad we have ever had, they take the time to chop cucumber's, tomatoes, carrots & red onion into small pieces and put them on the four corners of the plate. Also homemade croutons. Our Crispy Chicken Wrap was delicious.

During sailing season - I eat either breakfast or lunch here every Sunday. The food is always delicious, the coffee is always hot, and the service is always outstanding - even when the place is packed - which is most Sunday mornings. I have tried the breakfast pizza, the classic breakfast, the eggs Benedict - and it all keeps me coming back for more. Started coming here after Rythym and Brews closed - and have not been disappointed once. For lunch - the Rueben is my "go to" - but the bacon blue cheese burger is yummy too. On Sundays - there is a "make your own Bloody Mary bar" which I never tried - but it looks great. Also a great selection of Microbrews. Always a treat to enjoy our meals here.

Four of us were heading home from Wabasha to the Twin Cities. Walleye fritters were good ($1 each on Fridays), but we all agreed one per person was enough. Our food was fresh and good. Excellent service. Each of us agreed we would order our entrees again.

Delicious food and great, amicable service. The only complaint is that I found a bone in my Walleye Po' Boy.

We had breakfast last Sunday and we will be back. The Western Omelet was one of the best I've ever eaten. Eggs Benedict is worth a try. French Toast was above average. I will be returning to try the dinner menu.
