Food is awesome. Ambiance is poor... Converted gas station with fluorescent lights. It was a slow night so we couldn't tell if they figured out how to accommodate busy times and large groups. In the past we've watched large groups getting served one at a time with the first people finishing eating before the last got served.

Fresh, gently prepared food. Their menu is rather small, but has good variety. The spring rolls are wonderful! Giving you a choice of amount of spice is a great idea, especially in northern Minnesota, where salt is considered a spice by some people! We eat there often! The service is always good. Someone said in a review they don't have tofu...they do now.

Incredible food, great staff, super fast service. The menu is short, but I've tried the curry dishes, pad thai, and stir fry and they were all excellent. They don't serve tofu (not sure why?) so if you want a vegetarian option, it will just be veggies. Overall a great spot -- a healthy, fresh, flavorful option in the north woods!

Exceptional Thai food. Great service and friendly staff. The food was fantastic I had pad Thai with a number 2 spice which was a little spicier than expected but still tasted really great. Do not go with a 3 spice unless you like spicy foods. Overall this restaurant is a hidden gem and I love stopping by any time I'm in Hackensack. Very highly recommended.

Just got take out from here. Ate here earlier this summer super good. For Hackensack this is awesome. Hours right now 11am to 8 pm. Some of the best food I've had in the north woods in a long time. A welcome addition to this part of the world. Come and enjoy.

Stopped here off the Paul Bunyan Bike Trail, after some random recommendations from locals. This place looks like an old Tom Thumb store from the outside and inside a middle school cafeteria. I had my doubts, but anything salty sounded good to me, so I knew we were in a place that could deliver that. We were kindly seated immediately. The menu is small and not as much vegetarian stuff as I was hoping for. Example, all the appetizers have pork or chicken in them. I really was craving a cream cheese wonton, but they don't have them. The egg rolls were only pork filled. I was disappointed. So, I ordered and shared the basic pad thai with tofu (spice level hot). It came out quickly, hot, fresh and spicy. The flavor was delicious and salty. This was exactly what I was craving. I would have only asked to add more vegetables. In the women's bathroom there was a sparkle and star border around the mirror, likely to remind you of how big of a star you are! :-)
