I am satisfied ^^// Service is excellent. Decor is acceptable. Portions are generous. Nicely spiced and prepared cuisine. A short detour off 90 is well worth it.

Very happy with my meal, the portions were very generous, the filet was tender and delicious, definately worth the short sidetrip off the interstate.

Terrible. We went on a Saturday over the lunch hour. Our server was new and didn't know the menu at all when questioned about it (I usually will give someone the benefit of the doubt if they're learning, but this girl was simply unapologetically ditzy). The whole place just seemed like it needed a thorough cleaning, from the dust on the light fixtures and fake silk greenery to carpets with crumbs needing to be swept. Gross. The decor was kitschy clutter from the 80s and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since then either. The cityscape in the entry was interesting, but was dusty and seem end overshadowed by all the clutter around it. If that's what this restaurant is known for, they're certainly not making the most of it. Our food wasn't hot at all when it arrived, and very bland. My $12 salmon was barely larger than a deck of cards. What a rip-off!! The soup from the salad bar was room temperature, pasta salads were crusted over, and who knows how long things had been sitting out and growing bacteria. Eww. The only reason I'm giving it a two instead of a one is the my father-in-law seemed to enjoy his omelet. This place would be alright for a breakfast menu, maybe. After all, eggs are hard to screw up. Seniors probably like it because its bland... Glorified nursing home food. I personally hope to never go back.

Don't be fooled by the billboards advertising this place's salad bar. All the vegetables were soaking in water and none of the ingredients tasted fresh. The chicken noodle soup has mushy noodles and no flavor. The staff was friendly but the food was just not good. The other dishes looked better than the soup and salad.

VERY disappointing! They advertise 40 items on the salad bar or something similar on their signs and it seems like half the items are dressings. Soups are bland and lack seasonings. Could hear the staff complaining about management the whole time I was there which explains no refills and incredibly slow service. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.

Stopped here for dinner on family roadtrip. Service was friendly and very fast. Food was good - I liked the turkey burger a lot! Too bad the first person to review gave it such a negative review for not having a mile-long salad bar, I really think this restaurant is good for an off-the-interstate stop.

Met family here for a noon weekday meal. We needed a table for a party of five. Our arrival was right at the noon rush hour. There was also a large meeting going on in the facility so a table was not immediately available. We had a short wait for a table to open up, but it was nothing serious. The staff was friendly and did their best to get us seated as soon as possible, all service at our table was efficient and timely. A good menu with many options to choose from. All the meals ordered and served at our table were good and the food portions were generous for the prices charged. Restrooms were also clean. Very friendly staff. Only draw back is that they are located a short drive away from the Interstate, but it is well worth the short drive to dine at The Ranch. We will definitely return in the future. As a side note for those who enjoy unique history while traveling and visiting communities along your travel route The Ranch offers a very interesting art viewing. In 1983 an addition was added to the restaurant along with the famous Michael Garman Cityscape. The Garman wall of art was originally located in the south dining room. Because some of the guests were unable to view the Cityscape, an addition was added and the wall was moved to the entrance area in September of 1987. It's a must see if you enjoy art and local history.

My husband and I happened upon this place while on a road trip. The servers were very friendly, the food was tasty, and the salad bar was excellent and included some items I've not seen many places. I definitely want to go back the next time we go through the area.
