Just went to Rita's for my first time tonight. I tried a blendini - which (for mine) was a mix of Cookie's and Cream Ice, Vanilla Custard, and Hot Fudge. It was tasty - kind of like a milkshake but a little different. I would have it again. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Pretty disappointing when compared to Joe's Italian Ice. Flavors taste very artificial and overly sweet. It was good to try but I will not be back.

Wow, I missed this place when I moved from King of Prussia. I decided to get the custard since that was recommended. In Philadelphia, I stuck with the Italian ice and avoided the custard. After trying custard, I realized what I have been missing. Well, I got the regular but my fiancée had the kiddie size. I had the peach and she had the mango. Overall, I would come here again for the memories. Delish:)

Minnesota gets an east coast classic!! I used to plan parts of my vacations on when we could stop at Rita's! Now I have one less reason to visit the in-laws because Rita's has finally come to me! You will not be disappointed, this location does Rita's proud. Enjoy the ice (Strawberry is my favorite), but know the custard is amazing too. Go all out and get them layered together in a gelati.

Welcome to the neighborhood Rita's! I had never heard of Rita's until my wife was excited to receive coupons in the mail for the new location in Eagan. Rita's is a small retail location similar to an Orange Leaf or Cold Stone. The menus are inviting as you walk in the door. They are large and brightly lit LED TVs. They do a nice job walking you through what the different types of flavored ice, custard or a mixture of both. I had 'Starburst' Orange flavored ice mixed with vanilla custard and blended with Fruity Pebbles. The flavors blended well and it tasted like an orange creamsicle with a little fruity crunch from the cereal. Overall Rita's is a great alternative to the Dairy Queens, FROYO and creamery locations. With 15-20+ ice flavors that are constantly rotating in and out allows you to have a unique experience during every visit. One last thing...Rita's always has coupons. Check on their social media sites or keep an eye out during weekly mailers for coupons.

Holy crap they opened a Rita's here!!!! I'm originally a Philly girl, and water ice (pronounced "wood-er ice") is a taste of home I've been sorely missing. So for the newbies, a water ice is a cold dessert treat -- kind of like a cross between a hard Italian ice (the kind you scrape with the wooden stick spoon) and a slurpee. But it's made with super fresh ingredients and is way better than either. Then you add the fact that Rita's also has delicious thick custard, and it's a pretty dang heavenly thing. Get a gelatti, my personal favorite, which combines both into one... you pick an ice flavor (rotated daily) and you pick a custard flavor. They take a cup, put a layer of custard on the bottom, fill with ice and put a swirl of custard on top. Deeeelicious. My personal favorite combo is raspberry ice and chocolate custard, though raspberry is a less-rotated flavor, so grab it when you see it. Hmmm, Oh, join the email club. They email you a BOGO coupon for joining and you also get daily emails that tell you the flavor lineup.

I can't say anything about this specific location, but I used to live in Phoenix and would go to Rita's all the time! I love the place. I'm only writing this review to tell the owners of this franchise to put a location in the Northwest metro! Eagan is just too far of a drive for me just for some custard and italian ice. This place would probably do amazingly well in the Maple Grove area. Please add another location! :)

Really delicious Italian ice. The location is just perfect because it's right across from the high school and its a fun stop on the way home. I bring my siblings there all the time to get some. They really like Swedish fish and starburst, I prefer the piña colada flavor. Yum! Have yet to try the custard but I've been told great things. The fact that they switch out the flavors everyday makes it easier to keep coming back to mix it up!

Wow! People will pay too dollar to have some flavored sugar added to their ice! But I only sampled the flavored ice-- my eye was on the custard. Overall, the place has a decent custard. Texture was thick and creamy, above average. Meanwhile the vanilla flavor was decent but nothing noteable and the topping selection was standard. My b/f and I had similar sundae orders but his was crazy large compared with mine. I know I might look like a little girl, but throw me a bone! Not lying, I felt a little cheated.

Fun family place. Very busy location. Not very much indoor seating, there is outdoor seating. They could use more outdoor tables and umbrellas. The vanilla cone and ice were delicious, we would go back.

This place is amazing! I eat a lot of ice cream and this is some I the best available. If you have ever had Custer's last stand at the state fair and wanted to get it more than once a year now you have a place to do that.

Having never heard of Rita's before, it was a nice surprise that a new location was opened so close to home. Super creamy custard and flavored ice...what could go wrong.
