The Endion Station Public House Bar and Grill is the fifth official Fitger's-owned location that puts their craft brew on tap for the public. It's also Duluth's first cider house, with almost half of their 20 taps dedicated to Brewmaster-approved craft ciders. If on Duluth's Lakewalk, this is a great place to stop to relax for a quick bite and a great beer! Try the Red, Wheat & Blue if it's in season on tap.

I dropped by late one night to meet up with friends and was immediately impressed with the location. Wow. This is prime time Superior land. Perfect spot. Right off of the boardwalk. I had a few of the ciders and was impressed. Kicking back with Superior in your face with a drink in hand is a dream. I will add more after the snow melts and I make it back to sample the food!

Awesome place! Great beers and super cool vibe. They even had Blue Bell vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and caramel for the little guy while my wife and I enjoyed a pint. Don't miss out on this Duluth gem!!

Not a place to stop for a quick bite. The menu is pretty limited (and constantly changing) and the food was sub par, they were out of chips. The beer was good. Stop for a drink if you'd like. But not really a place for dinner. Good service. Great view. But I would not go back.

Not a place to stop for a meal. Not much of a menu, especially if you're a vegetarian. Beer is good.

Endion has great beer and the atmosphere was great as well. It's freezing outside though and this place is just as cold inside. If they turn on the heat this place gets at least 4 stars..... Bye

I wrote the initial review and loaded the place into yelp. My initial tip was very very negative, the service was bad, they were out of a number of "on tap" items, and the food took a long time to arrive. I am sad to say that the service is still subpar. On a positive note-once you get your food (not a kitchen issue) it is great and everything listed on the tap menu is there. Improvement is certainly occurring. As far as those individuals that are looking for a kid's menu, all I have to say is "it's a public house" look it up if you don't know what that means.

Endion is in a majestic location. Not only do they have delicious beers, but phenomenal food and staff to boot!

Great cider, yummy food, friendly service, and a great location all under one architecturally historic roof. What more could you ask for? Great for lunch, happy hour, or whenever you want to try a new cider. Their flights are reasonably priced. Give this place a try!

I am a fan. A unique place in the canal park area. The remodel for this restaurant left most of the original woodwork. It is very charming inside with all the hardwood in the interior. The drink prices are average and they have a nice variety. Ciders on tap and guest ciders + some nice beer. I had the Bandit (vegetarian) and loved it. The portabello burgers I have had in the past have been sub-par but this one was great. What was difference was that the mushroom was in strips and enjoyable to chew. Great sauce on the burger too. My friends were happy with the meal too. The server was top notch. Super friendly and attentive with a great personality. I'm sorry that others had a bad experience but mine was great.

The team responsible for breathing life into a number of Duluth's historical buildings, as well as the city's culinary choices, Rod Raymond and Tim Nelson, have unveiled their newest creation, the Endion Station Public House. Previous efforts include Tycoon's Alehouse and Eatery, situated in one of Duluth's first city halls, and the Fitger's Brewhouse, located in a former local brewery. Endion Station Public House is named after the building's prior use, as one of Duluth's first train stations; constructed in 1899, the station sat at 15th Avenue East and the lakefront, and served passenger trains until 1961. The building was constructed from local sandstone at a cost of $10,000. Employed by different tenants over the years, an expanding freeway required the building's move in 1986; carted off to its present location in tourist-centric Canal Park, the building has been owned by the city, occupied by a variety of businesses over the years, including a long stint as the Visitor's Bureau. When the city decided to auction off the building last year, Raymond and Nelson submitted the successful bid with a plan to open a boutique eatery and drinking establishment. After a remodel and update which including adding an outdoor deck with easy access to the Lakewalk and views of the big lake they call Kitchi-gummi, the establishment offers small plates with an emphasis on unique slider pairs, Irish and premium Scotch whiskeys, and growlers of local brews. Unique to the region, the pub also offers (hard) ciders on tap, adding choices to what has become Duluth's 'craft beer corridor." Sliders are served in pairs, in baskets with plastic cutlery in keeping with the fast causal theme. Sampled opening weekend were the "Cow Catcher" and the "Hogger" preceded by a starter of blue corn chips accompanied by freshly rough chopped salsa. The "Cow Catcher" buns are topped with braised beef, creamy horseradish, shredded cabbage, pickled onion and provolone. The "Hogger" is Endion's version of pulled pork, with barbecued pork, sharp cheddar and pickled cukes. All food sampled was attractive, palate pleasing, and fresh. A number of other sliders adorn the menu, along with a gyro-style 'wich (Duluth Doner Kebab) three different pairs of mini-bratwurst, a couple salads, a choice for vegetarians, and a daily soup choice. In world increasing convinced that 'gourmet' means a $15 house ground burger or a $6 plate of deviled eggs, we applaud the bold menu offerings at Endion, and wish them success. The restaurant is open til 1 AM Monday through Saturday, and midnight on Sunday. Food service ends two hours prior to closing.

Went here for Fathers Day. The day after Grandmas Marathon 2015. The service was horrible. We had to approach the counter multiple times to place orders for food and drinks. We also bussed our own table, as there is no wait staff. Food was decent, but took 50 minutes to get our food. A sandwich and chips should not take 50 minutes. The people at the counter were offended when we politely asked after 40 minutes where our food was. I don't know what's happening here, but we love the other fitgers owned establishments. The ciders were delicious. I would probably return for the ciders.

Endion has amazing bartenders who are good humored and great conversationalists. Many different local brews on tap. A great place to stop after work and unwind with friends.

Stopped by for a quick beer and a couple of awesome BBQ chicken sliders while walking our dogs along the Lakewalk. Friendly, efficient service, pretty much unbeatable ambiance due to the lakefront view. The slider buns were very unique, with a biscuit-like texture that we loved. We will definitely stop back soon!

My husband and I dropped in here because we read they had hard cider on tap, and they didn't disappoint! They had several ciders on tap, and another handful available in a can/bottle. I would go back time and again based off of the selection alone. They also had a great selection of local beers, and the appetizer we ordered (soft pretzel with cheese sauce) was great too. We liked the atmosphere as well! Definitely coming back!

Myself and my date stopped on by this last weekend. I ordered the Doner Kebab, she ordered a salad with shredded chicken. I am familiar with Doner kebabs in Germany, so I feel I have a good reference point to criticize. The cucumber yogurt sauce almost had no cucumber flavor at all. The lamb lacked major seasoning. In all, it was extremely bland. My date suffered from the same lack of seasoning. The shredded chicken had absolutely no seasoning on it at all. Seems to a pattern here... Would not return, bland tasting food.

I've been coming here every week since it opened back in July. In the beginning the food sucked, the service was shoty, but the beer was really good. As the menu changed, and new ideas came pouring out, and the servers became more knowlagable, things really started looking up. Then the chef girl here started doing specials, and things became amazing. The new flavors, the better atmosphere and the quiet location make this place one of the finest of all the fitgers resteraunt.

The location, being just off of the beautiful Duluth Lakewalk is perfect for a quick bite and a relaxing libation. However, the food menu is quite limited and the service is dismal. We try to eat gluten free for health reasons and only Gluten Free option at Endion was a salad. The drink menu is interesting, but the bartender still needs to look at the directions to know how to make the more interesting drink options. We took a table outside as directed by the hostess, then waited 15 minutes for table service. I finally went inside and ordered drinks at the bar. I inquired about outside table service and was assured we would have service within a couple of minutes. We finished our drinks, but nobody ever came by to ask about food or another drink. After 45 minutes at the table without service, we finally decided to walk to another local restaurant to get some food. Perhaps it is just a learning curve issue, but since the wait staff walked past our table for three quarters of an hour without stopping to ask if we wanted anything, it seems that the Endion Station Public House service has a long way to go.
