Ate here on June 13th. Bartender Mike is the "BEST". Food is great, service is great. I had the Walleye Tacos. I wanted something different to drink. Mike whipped me up a Stella go Naked. Stella Cidre, Grey Goose & Lemonade served in a wine glass. My new favorite summer drink.

Good service...items on the menu...not delivered as advertised. Specialty drink did not have two of the four "specialty items!!!!" Ordered the burger "medium rare," was told no problem!! Came back "well!" Was juicy, but tasteless for me. arrivederci Bourbon Room!! We live two miles from this establishment, but don't have the same affinity for it since it was no longer the Ox Tavern!!. Too many other options. Joe

I'm reserving judgement until we get our food--but the staff are friendly and the Chardonnay is cold! It's warm in here and it's rainy and cold outside.

The first time I went here, in May, I loved the place... so I brought a bunch of my family members back for breakfast on Saturday. We checked the website prior to going and saw that they serve brunch until 1 on weekends, so we got there at noon. Well... that day they "decided" to stop breakfast at noon. Every single sign on the outside of the building and inside said brunch until 1. We had 6 adults and 2 babies that we had to arrange to get settled in at the restaurant only to be told that their signs lie. We talked to multiple people at the restaurant about it... everyone told us the same thing. It sounded like it was the owner who made the decision that day, because the chef and bartender seemed equally as confused and upset by the decision. My expectation would have been that after we told them we were there for breakfast due to ALL their signs saying until 1, that they would offer to make us breakfast... but nope, they let us walk out. We will now never go back, and being that this was the first impression for 4 of the 6 adults, I can guarantee they'll never go back either. Bummer, because their food and drinks were great the first time we were there, and the bartender was extremely friendly both times. To make matters worse, when I posted about this on their Facebook page, they deleted my post. So, I shared the screenshot of my original post and asked why they deleted it, and they deleted that again. Therefore I am turning to Yelp, which hopefully they cannot delete to cover up their awful customer service. You lost a ton of money on Saturday and going forward! Shame on you!

I hate writing bad reviews. I hate negative reviews almost as much as I hate bad service. I wanted to love this new place in Cross Lake. I wanted to try something new and it had all the elements of a great place. Nice lake view. Decent beer specials. Great happy hour. Good location. We walked in on our anniversary date night with the intention of eating and drinking there. Yes it was 5:50 and HH was only on for another 10 minutes. So we walked up to the bar with the intent to order two quick HH drinks. The bartender basically shooed us away and told us to sit outside or at a table even though there were two seats. We looked outside. No spots. We then say inside and tried to flag a waitress down and she said she would be a couple minutes. Yes the HH clock was fast winding down. But we didn't think it was an issue because the bartender was VERY HELPFUL to all the local patrons asking at 5:59 if they would like one more on HH. He was so helpful to some locals sitting next to us in the main dining room. Even came out around the bar to ask how he could help them. Ugh!! Don't these people want a tourist following?! When we finally got our drinks (Lift bridge Hop Dish) and the jalapeño cheese curds, the Wednesday night meat raffle had begun. What is a meat raffle?! Good question. We tried to ask the lady in charge the same thing and she had no time to explain it to us. So, unless you are a local, don't go. The cheese curds are a 5 star item but the service is a 0!!

Nice location, kinda high prices. We've been here for lunch and dinner. We were disappointed on a Saturday and Sunday, to find out that at one, they were still serving brunch (my husband hates brunch). I liked the Ox Tavern better :(

The best and most diverse cocktail menu in the area. The jalapeno cucumber margarita is awesome. Other reviewers talk about bad service. I had opposite experience . Friendly bartender...she was proactive, sincere. Will definitely be back.

Stopped in for lunch and tried the sloppy joe sliders. Excellent! They were also the only place around that carried 2 Ginger wiskey so I could have a couplr of Big Gingers.

I keep trying and they keep disappointing. The first two times I tried (Sunday afternoon and Thursday night) they were closed even though the website said open. The third time I showed up at 8:45pm for a beer and a snack and the bartender didn't offer food and shut the lights off around me while we had a beer, then crossed her arms and waited for us to say we were done so she could leave. Again, the website stated they were open until 2am. This last time we went in for dinner, which was average and dealt with a bartender who seemed like he had better things to do then talk to us or give us decent service. I'm done trying. There are too many other restaurants in this area to waste your time here.
