Lets be honest, it's like fast food. They are new location with new staff. But it's consistent and I know I will be happy with what I get each time. Like wine, it will get better with age hopefully.

This restaurant is under new management, so I decided to give it another try, and I was quite pleased. Everything was prepared quite well, and the service I received was very good. It looks like this pace is back on track.

Dickey's is under new management. It's a good thing! The shiny, silver plasticware is back. The beef brisket was a tasty and tender perfection. Fried okra was finally cooked enough. Country music playing. Sauce area was clean, too. Just need the big jar of pickles to be out front to truly be a Texas Dickey's. We'll be back again.

We decided to use Dickey's to cater our barn wedding because it fit the theme and we were on a budget. When I made an appointment to meet with the restaurant manager to go over the details of the event as I was instructed to do by the catering department he did not show up. The person working was not even going to call him to come in, but I drove over an hour to get there so I asked that he be called. I had to wait 25 minutes for him to get there and he then assured me everything would go smooth the day of the event and I wouldn't need to worry about a thing. The day of the wedding came and they ended up being over an hour late and were under-staffed. They also did not bring the right barbecue sauce, and packed up the food much too early without even checking with us. I was clearly unhappy and the restaurant manager asked that I contact him after to go over the event. I did once we returned from our honeymoon and he never got back to me. I also filled out their post-event survey and never received a response. A warning to anyone considering using Dickey's to cater an event near Chaska: use ANY other restaurant, you are guaranteed to have a better experience.

Ordered online & picked up. Chicken nuggets were frozen. Mac & cheese was cold and fries were missing. Not a fan.

Let me start off by saying my family and I love Dickey's. We never had bad food or service at any of their locations, except for the Chaska store. We have been to the Chaska Dickey's six times in the last few months; we have walked out empty handed the last two visits. On our first few visits, the food was just ok. We attributed this to the lack of staff; two employees during the supper rush doesn't work so well. By the time you have paid for your meal(s), the food has been out at least 10 minutes, and is now cold as a result. The lack of staff also leads to a dirty dining area, adding to the problems. On our last two visits, we walked out of the restaurant without ever ordering. We entered the restaurant to find one (1) employee, working slowly to help the three customers in front of us. She greeted us, "I'll be with you eventually", which, after 15 minutes, never happened. We will gladly dine at the Maple Grove location, but will not be returning to the Dickey's in Chaska.

This is to truly warn people to not waste ur hard earned money. I'm not bitter, but truly disappointed. I've been there multiple times HOPING they would improve and fix their issues. EVERY single time I get the baby back ribs-- DRY and burnt. God awful! For the price, this is completely unacceptable. Gave them 3 more chances as did my husband and same result. AWful ribs that were not edible. I contacted the owner and he was nice and even sent a Gift card but sadly, the food continued to be inedible and dry. This saddens me as there is not a close place in Chaska there for BBQ. Good bye Dickey's. Up your game or your store is going to close with all these bad reviews. Thank you~

Used Chaska Dickies to cater a small 15 person sales meeting for a very important customer. I normally use Famous Daves but after this terrific experience at Dickies it's Bye Bye to Dave's. My order was basically after hours the night before i needed an 11:45 pick-up. The staff was very helpful in selecting my menu. At pick up they were all ready and even help load for me. The hot food was hot and the cold choices we cold. Most importantly the customers at my meeting raved about it. 100% successful, affordable and easy. I'll be back!!!!!!!!

Wow, they better step up their game. I went in this evening (2/9/2013) and ordered a family meal to go (2 meats and 3 sides). When I went in there was only 2 or 3 customers, by the time I left there was more than 10 people in line. It took more than 10 minutes for them to put my order together while orders in front of me still weren't done and order behind me were already done. When I finally got to the cashier they handed me a bag with my order and then said, oh wait, we still have to cook your fries and onion tangles. At this point I said never mind. The cashier just looked at me and said okay. No apology or anything.

Our first visit to Dickeys in Chaska, MN the food and service was great. We thought this would be our favorite local place. Our second visit was very disappointing. The meats were dried out. They ran out of rolls (one of our favorite menu items). It was very busy and there were only three people working. It seemed that they might have been new employees. They were so over whelmed they didn't know what to do next. But, we tried a third visit. Well, not much better than the second. Meats were dried out. Portions were very small. They had the rolls but I think they were day old ! Certainly not fresh. So I guess we will continue to look for a GOOD barbecue spot.

They have always had great service every time I am in here. The food is great, if you like BBQ, you gotta give it a try. Free ice cream too! Diverse enough menu that everyone can find something, and lots of great comfort food sides.
