Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This is as good as it gets. It's worth the drive out to the burbs to get it. It's a great family friendly establishment. The prices are reasonable and the food is amazing. We always get the double crust house special and cheese bread - never disappointed by it. Our daughter really liked the meatball and pasta option from the kids menu.

First time here. Good meatballs. Friendly service!!!!. Going to try gluten free pizza next time.

Best pizza in town! The thin crust is amazing for only $20 a pie. I've also true the ravioli and it was solid for $11 I believe. I would recommend dinning in as it's a nicely remodeled restaurant as well. Staff is always friendly and enjoyable with their good service. I'll be back for sure

I love this place. The people who work there are super nice and I may actually be addicted to their cheesey garlic bread.

Best of the best. What more can I say? Excellent service. You won't find a better pepperoni pizza! Highest recommendation!

Ridiculously good pizza. Hands-down the best in the West Metro. Definitely order Deep Dish crust. Don't expect Chicago-Style, but it's amazing nonetheless. A little on the higher side price-wise, but worth it.

Detello's is a welcome change from the delivery only pizza places! They have friendly service, color pages for the kiddos and most importantly fantastic pizza and cheese bread! One of our favorite spots to eat in Chaska!

Our family has been waiting for a good 'ole, hometown, thin-crust pizza place to come to town and I think it's finally here! Great for sitting in with a group after a game or carrying out. The cheeseburger pizza is especially good if you're looking to switch things up, or just stick with the classics and you won't be let down. Whether you're looking for a regular pizza joint or just a place to get a pie on the go, give it a try.

The best pizza in Chaska! Great sauce and the thin crust is excellent. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. We will definitely be back to try the pasta next time.

This review doesn't need to be long because of one fact: I've never been the biggest thin crust fan, but Detello's changed that for me in the form of a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The combination of crispy crust, flavor-exploding cheese, fresh toppings, and a savory sauce that tied everything together masterfully was enough to make me a vocal advocate for Detello's. Thank you Detello's, for showing me a whole new level of thin-crust pizza.

Amazingly delicious food. Let me start off by saying that I've never eaten their pizza, but I would love to try it. Their pasta is superb and I love the toasted bread (but make sure to get cheese on it)! I'm definitely coming back here soon.

Great thin crust homemade 'za. This is our go to place close to home. Worth a try if in the area. There is one in Eden Prairie too.

A small, clean little family pizza shop. Awesome. We would drive the 20 minutes to get here from our home in Minnetonka.

This is the best pizza around. I really enjoy coming here with my family! I recommend it to all my friends and fellow YELPPERS.

A month after opening Detello's still hasn't quite been able to keep up with demand in Chaska. Ordered pizza for pick up on a Friday night - was told it would be an hour before it was ready. Fine, it's Friday night, we'll wait. But then when I arrived and tried to pay, their sole credit card machine wasn't working. As they weren't going to accept the $5 in cash I had for an $18 order, I had to go to the Kwik Trip next door to get cash. They were apologetic, but it was an irritating experience in that because they had no contingency plan, our dinner cost us an extra $2.50 in ATM fees. I rarely have cash in my wallet and never have my check book in hand, but I guess I'll have to be the one with the contingency plan the next time we order from here. Honestly, if the pizza wasn't so good, I'm not so sure we'd bother with the hassle again.

Great food. So glad they opened. We seem to be doing carry out once a week

The thin crust pizza is a definitely worth 5 stars...a spicier sauce and the perfect amount of toppings and cheese. I'm not a huge sausage pizza fan but tried a piece with some friends and its probably the best I've ever had. Small beer and wine list but offer a couple of my faves on tap - Lucid IPA and Odell's 90 Shilling Ale. Our server was pretty good, didnt have a hostess when we were there (6pm on a Sat) and they definitely could have used one...a bit confusing trying to get a table and not the nicest about it. But the food made up for it...one of these days I'll have to try the deep dish!

Pretty standard Italian fare..

I do have to say about this place that they have the friendliest staff I've ever seen. I never really go to Chaska but my friend brought me here and I was really impressed by the pizza. And the customer service was great. A definite satisfying meal.

I had the chicken cordon blu alfredo pasta, it was quite tasty. Staff was friendly. I will probably be back for pasta or try a pizza.

Great pizza and AMAZING cheese bread! Same great food as the Eden Prairie location and for those of you from the Plymouth area you'll see some familiar faces from the old Marcello's - and the same great food!
