Had a late party to seat on short notice. It was a midweek day. They got us in and seated right away. The service was excellent. The food was served promptly, in large portions, hot, and expertly made. Not heavy on the salt. My entree was the chicken Parmesan on fettuccine and absolutely delicious. An excellent meal at a fair price.

Service is the part of this meal that deserves the 5 starts. We always like the food here. Very dependable that we are going to be satisfied with the food. What was great about tonight's experience is how they handled a random situation. As we were enjoying our hummus, we came across a chunk of something we couldn't identify. Our server for the manager right away, they looked into it and comped the app. Turns out it was a piece of artichoke that missed the food processor. Very impressed with how they handled. Speaks highly of the level of service they want to provide for their customers. A big thanks to the staff.

Much better than I remember Houlihan's from my last experience many moons ago. Cool classic interior and the food is much better than anticipated. This is the go to place in the area and the staff is pretty charismatic and well trained. I believe this place can cater to all walks of life, tastes and the perfect option for large groups.

Amazing service LOOK FOR CHRIS (women) !!!! AMAZING FOOD! I had gotten the stuffed chicken breast with garlic cream cheese, my mother had gotten the "seared George's bank scallops w/ risotto. Also the appetizer "firecracker shrimp" is also amazing( get it over rice w/ extra sauce) !

Okay would of been a solid 4 - except it always sooo cold in there. I don't even take my coat off. We are talking Minnesota in February (cold, cold, cold). However, I have seen a definite improvement in the food quality since earlier visits. My current fave is the ahi salad (hold the banana for desert) - very good. The blue steak salad got good reviews. The chicken wraps - not so much. We all shared the mushroom - apps - those beasties were delish. Good service this time

Husband's soup came before the appetizer. Only got two bites into appetizer when the meal came. Chicken was just warm. Pricey. Not sure I'll come back. Kris V I will email you directly on Monday 2-16

As someone who is now a professional but spent many a year waitressing thru college etc--i was appalled by the terrible service at this place. We had a large party on a sunday w/reservation for 1pm lunch. The waitress/waiters never came by the fill water unless we asked, never refilled coffee or creams--just basic things! I got up and got the cream myself. Weird. When the food came out no one knew what went where. One of our party was served a house salad incorrectly and it sat untouched. He (waiter)finally came and took it away and gave it to another person! gross!!!! We all waited and waited, they mixed up plates, poor service all around and only passable food. Never again go to applebees Addendum: I was contacted by the manager who apologized and gave me a voucher for one of my party to use as he is in charge of the 'elders' in the party and always pays for them. THAT was totally unexpected. I think i'll give them another try as we come to chanhassen every year in October .There are many good reviews here! perhaps we hit them on a bad day with a lazy crew?

We were a little wary when we pulled up, there were hardly any cars in the lot at 12:05 on Father's Day Sunday, but Yelp gave it good rating so we decided to give it a shot. Turns out we had beat the rush by about 10 minutes. Excellent food. We have a 1.5 year old and there were no issues. The kids menu was standard with Mac n cheese, corn dog, mini burgers, etc. there was a kids French toast on the brunch menu and she loved it. We ordered it first while we searched the menus for ourselves. Our server quickly brought it out. More impressive was that the kitchen was able to get our 2 chicken breast dishes (Which usually take longer) in double time and all the food came out within 5 mins of each other. Just enough time to get our daughter squared away. The special sauce on the chicken sandwich was amazing. We got the chicken sandwich (I'm forgetting the full name of it) and the spinach and grilled chicken salad with the intent of sharing. My husband got one bite of my salad and he didn't even let me try the sandwich. 2 meals and a kids dish ran just under $40. It was an excellent Father's Day lunch.

My husband suggested trying happy hour at Houlihans last week. I have to say I was not very impressed with this place when they first opened up so we never ventured back. Just another "chain" restaurant I told myself. Now I realize just exactly what I was missing. I've quickly been converted to becoming a regular. My recent visit was on a weekday night when we had to wait to be seated! That told me something about their happy hour specials. They have some amazing things on the menu too. Their white bean salad is the perfect combination with arugula, corn, bacon and tomatoes. My favorite item on the menu is the SO. CAL FISH TACOS with two soft flour tortillas. The tilapia is pankobreaded with chipotle mayo, Napa cabbage, pico, and sweet honey cumin dressing ($10.25). A must try! Overall a great neighborhood meeting spot. Perfect happy hour gathering and wide selection of different menu items. Food is fresh and flavorful. I can't believe I'm saying this but I can't wait to go back!

I went with a group for dinner here last week. We were seated at a table by the front window in the dining room. It was so cold there all of us are with our coats on. I had the Jambalaya which used to be excellent. I can't recommend this as the sausage was very tough to eat. The staff serving us were great. They did everything they could to make us comfortable including free hot drinks and hot towels. I will go back eventually because I do like the atmosphere.

One of the best places in the Chanhassen area to grab a few drinks after work, or to grab a quick bite to eat. Their prices are reasonable (especially during happy hour), the food is tasty, and the staff is very nice (and they recognize even semi-regulars!). This is absolutely our go-to place when we're out and about and just want a quick bite & a drink. Much better than one of the chain restaurants that dominate the Chanhassen dining scene.

Absolutely love this place! Just stopped in for lunch and a glass of wine. French Dip sandwich is a must try and their house salad is delish! Our waiter Jesse was also working the bar and he was very attentive and took great care of us. He is definitely a reason to come back, great service is key to the success of a restaurant and I gave this a 5 star - thoughtful great food and awesome service!

Came for a family dinner on a Friday night and it took too long! We ordered 2 kids meals and a salad and sandwich, and the order took nearly an hour to come out! With 2 kids! We finally had to tell them we needed to pack it up to go home and eat! The manager was nice enough but doesn't make up for the delayed dinner. And we were seated and ordered before 5:30p!!! No excuses. Won't be going back.

The family stopped here to meet a good friend of ours on our way to Mankato, and were not disappointed. Two kids ate off the kids menu, and were quite happy. I had the shrimp dish and a side of soup, while hubby had the walleye sandwich. They forgot the soup, but did notice and bring it to me with the meal. No big deal, especially since it was quite tasty. The walleye sandwich was good. The server was very attentive (despite the soup), and definitely on the ball. Worth coming back to if we're in the area.

I loves me some Houlihan's! Their white bean and artichoke hummus is delicious, their bartenders are awesome, and the prices are "doable", especially during happy hour. The service(at the bar) is always quick. I'm really disappointed that they removed the Tuscan White Bean Sandwich from the menu. They did replace it with a salad, which is OK. I love how they have Foursquare specials, which we(my hubby and I) have used often: free Frites with a Fourquare check in, and if you're a newly-crowned Mayor, you get a free Small Plate up to $6(I'm working on becoming Mayor). The Parmesan Frites are yummy, along with the "Pickle Fries", which are breaded and deep-fried and served with 2 dips: horseradish and honey mustard. I recommend the horseradish. Yum! Remember, always tip according to the original price. We love trying new menu items just about every time we visit Houlihan's. Last visit we tried the 3-pack sliders, and I, being a vegetarian(pain in the a$$, I know), tried the black bean slider. It was pretty good, but it could use some mayonnaise or something "moist", as the burger itself was a bit dry. My husband had the Chicago mini dog(it was so cute I had to take a photo of it) and the pulled smoked pork slider. He liked 'em. All in all, it's a great place to visit, even if it's just for a couple of beers.
