This place is hole in the wall traditional Chinese food i been ordering there for years, never had a problem. I recommend cho-me-fun witch is a rice noodle dish I love and chicken wings. I recommend ordering delivery, there prompt and food is hot. Togo containers are reusable nice bonus for take out food.

This place is pretty ok. Not bad, not great...well except the egg rolls and shrimp w/lobster sauce. Not a huge fan of the fried rice, but some dishes keep me going back. Not really a dine in location as there are few tables. Staff has always been pleasant. If I feel like driving a little further I go to D. Fongs in savage instead, the fried rice is way better but the egg rolls suck so if I'm really craving both I stop at both lol

Eddie Cheng has been disappointing and average as of lately. We used to get it every week but haven't been back until recently and when we did we see why. The beef used to be our favorite but now tastes gamey. The dumplings however were very good so maybe we just have to switch our usual pickens to something new. They do deliver which is great. They have a customer feedback page on their website which is hilarious as it doesn't get filtered.

Stopped in for lunch on a Friends recommendation. They only have 3-4 tables so they are more set up for take out. 2 employees were sitting at one of the customer tables snapping the ends off of peapods from a big brown paper bag. Didn't seem like the best place to do that but whatever. It was FREEZING in there. I mean FREEZING. Everyone had on coats that was working there and we never took ours off. We were there at 12:30 for about 40 min. Never saw one other customer. Got back into our car ad cranked the heat. The chicken was bad...it was slimy and maybe undercooked? I couldn't eat it so I just ate my veggies which were fresh and cooked well. Not likely to return....I will go to Golden Wok. I know there food is good.

I'm new to the area and have been trying to find a decent Chinese takeout place in Burnsville Apple Valley region. This is my most recent destination. Food quality was very average at best. Kept it simple with general tso's chicken and steamed rice. The sauce was sweet and flavorful and it was a large portion. The actual chicken was extremely lacking in quality. Tasted very undercooked and gamey along with a bit slimy. Would i try it again? I'm not sure....

Just discovered Eddie's thru work. A co-worker was ordering for a bunch of people. Took a chance and ordered the chicken lo mein. Loved it! Nice thick perfectly cooked noodles, chicken was tender and had great flavor. Bill was like $6! Will be ordering frequently!

Yuckkkkkkkkkk! I just ordered food from there and when I walked in there was a lady folding fresh wontons sitting by the door. SHE WAS USING HER BARE HANDS! She then took my order, handled my money and looked at her phone before she went back to work on the wontons. Did I mention she never even washed her hands? Yeah somebody needs to come in and shut this crap hole down

The food is ok but if your a veggie fan this is the place. The location is next to Little Caesars so its tempting so switch over. The seating space is 3 tables and the bathroom you have to ask. It's one of a few Chinese restaurants that are still good in Savage/Burnsville though

This is my new go-to Chinese place! Great sesame and sweet and sour chicken. Not overly greasy. Polite, quick service. Delicious!

4 stars for doing exactly what you think a fast food Chinese joint should do. This place delivers ( figuratively and literally) fast and fresh Chinese food for a reasonable price. Big portions, decent rice, overall just a solid little take out joint.

Delicious Chinese food made fresh and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend the crab rangoon and chicken with cashews! Only complaint is they have no bottled or tap water for drinking.

Eddie Cheng's is simply the best Chinese food in the area. They make the absolute best General Tso chicken, that mixed with their fried rice.....I would eat there every day if I could! It's cheaper than what I get at McDonalds! Great food and great prices. I don't know how they stay in business when they charge so little, but I'm glad they do. If you are in the area, and need a great cheap Chinese dinner or lunch, you have to try Eddie Cheng's!

I order from here pretty frequently and I'm happy to say the food tastes pretty good compared to other Chinese takeout restaurants . The prices are also not too bad for the amount you get.

Sad to say they've made some changes that are just disappointing. I don't know if it's new management or just cutting corners, but I haven't been back in months; and my family used to order take-out at least once every two weeks. Their delicious dumplings are no more, replaced with overcooked, doughy blobs. Their egg rolls have changed too, the new ones are just gross. It seems like everything we usually ordered was just lower quality than previous visits. The main dishes all had a lot less meat and a bit more veggies. After our first disappointing visit, we did order a few more times. We were hoping it was a fluke. No such luck. It's such a shame when a restaurant had it right and chooses to go downhill.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
