Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This Chipotle is unbelievably SLOW! Everytime I go or even drive by it, the line is looking around the restaurant. They aren't understaffed, they are just very slow at every movement. The last time I was there I spent 32 minutes in line! That is no exaggeration. Even ordering online I still had to wait in a separate line for my food. I will not be going back to this location. The food is not worth the wait.

I don't like going to this specific Chipotle if I don't have to. The workers there are extremely slow and there is always a line out the door because of that. Their burritos are fine but they get very greedy when it comes to the burrito bowls. Other than that, location is nice. It's right next to all the stores I often shop at.

I have to agree with all the other reviews. This location is HORRIBLE because it is soooooo sllloooowww!! But the food is really fresh and tasty just like other Chipotles. We've gone here since it opened and the staff and manager have changed numerous times. I don't think corporate is listening to the employees who do have to work their asses off at this location because it is constantly busy! So, until customers stop showing up, I doubt anything will change at this location. They sell a ton of food and don't care how long you have to wait because you still keep coming back!

I used to love Chipotle and it's always been worth the wait in the long lines. This location in particular is always very slow, employees apathetic and hold up the line. They act like you're wasting their time. We always notice the line is out the door, but only a couple families will be in the dining area eating. Today I had my first jaw droppingly horrible experience at any Chipotle location. My meal was generally cold all around. In fact, it nearing refrigerated cold. Most of my rice was not cooked all the way and was very hard to force down. The rest of my rice was overly sour. My chicken was so burned that it was also difficult to eat. The corn was not tender enough to enjoy. I was going to put up with my freezing and crispy-in-a-horrid-way food, but then my dad pulled a hair out of his food. I gave up and finished up my last bite at which point I chewed something that tasted how I imagine foot dipped in trash tastes like. Didn't even eat half my food, still very hungry.

I hope the owner(s)/manager(s) see these reviews. The fact so many people have taken time to review the slowness of service should cause serious reevaluation. I hope they understand that we don't hate them, we actually love them; we love Chipotle food. But we want good, quick service when we go. We don't want lines stretching outside or around the building, lines that crawl, taking over a half hour to order (even when ordering online!). Lines used to move much faster. Not sure what happened, but please take this to heart--FIX the problem. Train your employees better, hire more efficient ones, incentivize, motivate. Do anything, but step up your game. I will not be back as a customer until you do.

Chipotle in general is amazing, this particular one however... Every time I go in there, and I literally mean every time.. there is AT LEAST a 10 minute wait, usually alot more. The last time I went into the restaurant I was in line for exactly 30 minutes (I look at the time every time a join a line there) I finally got up to the counter to order, and one of the employees friends came in skipped the entire line (which was now longer than when I joined) and the chick that worked there made him a burrito right before me. I was so f***ing pissed off !! I wrote email to the company about the incident. They told me that it was "someone they owed a free meal to." Someone was lied to because clearly she knew the guy. Maybe they think being understaffed all the time makes numbers look good because there is 100% uptime, but I can't remember the amount of times I've avoided them because of the bad slow service. But the good news is if u accidentally go there and see the lines there is a leeann chin and a subway right next door. Someone needs to bring the hammer down on this place.

Ordered on line.... with hour n half wait. Went there told them I ordered on line. They cancelled my order for me. We proceeded to wait 45 minutes.... Asked for cilantro and sour cream on side. Watched them make it. Didn't get it. Overcharged!!!! Booooooooo!!!!

Online ordering is supposed to help with being able to have food ready at a set time, the last few times here I've had to wait 10-15 minutes past the time the food should have been ready by. Maybe I should consider Qdoba next time.

Understaffed. Slow. Went at 4 in the afternoon and the line was out the door. Waited for ten minutes and the line didn't move at all..

They are stingy with the meat amount these days, seems like that slows the line down because dang, all locations have gotten slow! I might be about to boycott chipotle since it is faster to get in line, order through app and pick up. They need a new system for online ordering that doesnt slow the store line!!!!!!

The food may be great but the service is almost always poor. I have waited in line for as long as 30 minutes at off peak times because they only had 2 people on the food prep line. If they give you a small amount of something and you ask for more they either sigh audibly or give you way more than you wanted. So frustrating!

I used to love going here because it's about a five minute drive from my house. But the past few times I've gone, I haven't been very impressed. They are stingy with the ingredients, even if there are very few people in the restaurant. They don't take the precious few extra seconds to make sure the burrito is wrapped properly, which leads to half of the ingredients falling out when you try to eat it. Sometimes, they don't even take care when putting the ingredients in the burrito, so when you go to eat it, it's like eating the food in layers. The last thing I want is to take a big bite full of sour cream. Once, halfway through my order, they had shift change, so they quit making my burrito until the new people showed up. I think better management and training would improve this location greatly.

HOLY SMOKES. We stopped here on a Friday night at 5pm, and NO JOKE, it took 35 minutes to get our food- which is completely unacceptable in my book. I thought that part of Chipotle's brand was that it was fast food made with quality ingredients. It would have been faster to drive to Richfield, get food at that Chipotle, and then drive back to Richfield. We will never visit this location again.

The food is 5 stars but it's always super busy and I have ordered online and fax over a dozen times and they always screw it up (which baffles me when it's written down exact).

Slow, and unorganized location. We ordered online at 3:15 & it said it would be ready at 4:30. Takes way to long for them to make our order and we arrived at 4:30 and they didn't even make it yet!! Come on people, let's do your job or take off the order online option if you cannot do it.

Fast friendly service. Food was hot and fresh and the price was decent. I like that they have limes to sprinkle on my chips for my tortilla chips with pico de gallo salsa. For fast food, it is pretty good fresh eats and a fair value. This location is laid out a little strange, sometimes causing the line to go out the door. Other than that, it is a nice place to grab a big burrito.

Who doesn't love Chipotle? My entire family loves to eat their food. However, the Burnsville location doesn't seem to ever get it right. First, the lines are horribly long. In the summer it's 150 F. degrees and the only thing keeping the employees from passing out is customers keeping the doors open waiting in line. Second, some of the employees at this location just make no effort at providing basic service. I always struggle with having to pay a premium for their food only to be served mediocre servings. But to top it off, carefree attitudes just makes want to boycott Chipotle. The best service by far has to be Richfield Chipotle. People there come across genuinely friendly. If it weren't for my family I would never visit Chipotle in Burnsville.

I have placed on online order with this store twice.. both times the order has not been ready at the time I selected, and I would have gotten my food faster if I had gotten in line. Second time they gave me 25% off, but it took 25m past the time due, and the food was made incorrectly and cold.. drive a little bit out of the way and go to the Eagan, Shakopee, or Bloomington stores instead, you'll get your food faster.

I love Chipotle, but this location has really gone down hill. I think they need new management. In the last couple of months, they have run out of staples such as white rice and mild tomato salsa. Their service is always so slow. I think I will switch to the new Eagan location on Cliff road.

Oh, you know... Big burritos are their thing. Generally tasty, but you'll probably end up waiting for it at this location. I've never been to this particular Chipotle without having to wait at least five minutes to get my order in. I'd say it's still worth it though.

Chipotle is one of my favorites, but this location is absolutely terrible. For as much buisness they get (the line is always wrapped around the building) they should have more crew members working! It is unbelievably slow, and their portions have gotten smaller and smaller. When i get a burrito, I expect to be full after eating it and majority of the time, I'm still hungry after eating because the portions are so little. Not only that, I live less than 5 minutes away from the restaurant and by the time I'm home to eat my food tastes old and needs to be microwaved every single time. Hopefully management reads these reviews and takes action because this is the worst chipotle around.

Second time to this location...hoping the first time I just hit them on a bad day - no such luck. I LOVE Chipotle - pretty much addicted, but this location is pretty bad. The tables were all dirty, the lines are really long (they ran out of chicken this time I went so several of us waited in line for more chicken to be made while letting ppl not ordering chicken go ahead. The staff clearly hates working there - no smiles to be had. Hope this location gets better because I really don't want to drive farther away to get great Chipotle.
(2)Rita G.
This has to be the worst chipotle. The service is so uncomfortably slow. Employees are rude and seem to be annoyed that your there. The food should be fresher because of the traffic this place has. Go the extra 10 miles and eat at a clean chipotle you won't have to wait 20-30 minutes for your food.

This Chipotle could be open during an apocalypse, the entire human population except for myself and the employees of this particular Chipotle and there would somehow be a line out the door and a 45 minute wait and they still would not under stand what it means when I say 'extra cheese' because they seem to think one single piece of cheese makes a difference in the taste of the burrito. They should all be fired. They also have no clue how to even make their meats. Goto any chipotle ever and you will get steak and chicken cut small, not massive chunks of stuck together uncut no flavor steak or chicken that literally tastes like vomit. Ps. If you have more than two burritos to order. Tell your friends to get off their lazy butts.

They have no idea how to manage the line - they ONLY EVER have two people moving the food and one person at the register. There is a line that literally wraps through the whole store and still the same two people. There are two people who I can see in the back not doing anything and the guy who seems to in charge sends his time straightening up the bags of chips. It's crazy. Every time I end up here I say I will never come back, but I forget and get sucked back in because other locations don't have this problem.
