This is going to be a mixed review. I love this place the pizza here is amazing I love their cheeseburger pizza with a passion ,but the last time we came here the staff was rude. I disagree with their thinking on the gluten free menu. My mother in law cannot have gluten not because shes trying to follow some diet trend because she will get very sick if she has it. We came in here last year and I'm just now getting around to writing a review about our experience. The menu states "Now Offering Gluten Free Pizzas " however none were to be found on the menu. So we politely ask what pizzas can be offered as gluten free the staff explains they charge more for gluten free. This is ridiculous your going to charge someone more for having a food allergy? The small is $8.19 while a small gluten free is $10.19. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! For this reason I will never return here. I have been to so so many places in Minneapolis that recognize the absurdness in charging so much extra for gluten-free items and happily display "gluten-free options at no extra charge" in their menus. Get with the times seriously if someone has an allergy to anything else you would never charge them extra this is how you lose customers!

We were on the way to Duluth and getting hungry. About a half hour out of Brainerd, I looked for pizza in Brainerd on Yelp and found Rafferty's. I called and ordered a pizza to pickup, delighted that thanks to Yelp, we didnt have to settle for some chain that we coukd eat at home. My son said , "this is what pizza is supposed to taste like."

Rafferty's Take & Bake.... love their pizza, best in town! This location is perfect when your in a pinch for time, and able to cook your own pizzas at home. I like that their crust is on the thin side. Friendly staff.

Rafferty's is a pizzacopia of childhood memories. As a kid I used to come here to play Street Fighter II with my friends. They had 2 arcade games tucked away on the side. If we went with our parents they'd let us play the video games after we ate all our pizza. Life as a kid was rough, as you can tell. Their pizza was also really tasty though. Nothing super gourmet, just really decent pizza for a good price. They also had 1919 root beer which is especially good.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Every time I'm in some trendy, supposedly outstanding foodie recommended pizza place that charges you way too much for mediocre pizza I think fondly about this place. The pizza here is great. It is better than anything else I've had in Minnesota. The sauce here has no peer. The location in the wannabe mall is just outstanding. Take n bake is just ok IME. Rafferty's pizza is the measuring stick I use when trying any other pizza. Very few measure up.

Yummy pizza!!! Barbeque chicken was great. When we asked directions on yelp it took us to the wrong location, somewhere on 210 way out on the east side of town

A hometown favorite. Dine in at the Westgate mall is always lovely, I recommend the bacon cheeseburger pizza with the ketchup mustard sauce. Unfortunately, their delivery prices are insane. INSANE. But they have a big delivery area. So they kind of nail you to the wall if you live in the outskirts of town.

We went here for the first time on a Friday around 5:45pm, it was packed! Great atmosphere, very family friendly, fast, fresh and delicious different kinds of pizza for any age. Would recommend!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
