Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Best meal I've ever had at a restaurant attached to a chain hotel
(3)P R.
Sat at the bar and ordered promptly from the bar tender which was great. Bartender immediately takes my order and continues conversation to his friends to my right for 5 minutes before making my drink and putting my order in. That was annoying. Food was average, drinks were ok, it was a typical hotel bar. If you can eat at the MOA you may get a better experience, but mine could have been influenced by a bad bartender.

Great food. Large portions at a reasonable price. Fast and friendly service. Great atmosphere.

We sat down and ordered drinks and started to look over the meek menu. All four of us started asking each other if there was anything we thought looked good, well, no. We asked the very nice waitress about some sauce options and grill vs fry options and the response from the chef was "well, we really don't but we can". That didn't really make us feel comfortable with what was going to come out. The menu for an italian restaurant was awful. Literally only like 6 options of pasta options, one of which, was macaroni and cheese! The others was pasta and meatballs, no options with a healthy fresh sauce. Very awful, we left and went to an amazing italian restaurant across the street. Tucci Bennuch, definitely amazing food and worth the walk across the street into Mall of America.

Okay the food was good but I am angry over there advertising. So we see on yelp, no less, that the appetizers are $3.00 4:-6:. So we run over, I know I am about to spend $140 at least on dinner for 5 people entertaining customers. So I get there before the my clients and order the $3.00 apps and the waiter says, oh you must sit in the bar area to get that. I said, look I have customers coming we want to sit in the dining area for a long dinner, just bring the apps here. Waiter says he can't do it. I said get the manager. Then the manager says nope can't do it because we have to ring it in on the computer in the bar area. I said no problem here's my card. He said, no you have to physically sit in the bar area. As I said, I had customers coming so now I am pissed and can't leave. So I spent exactly $140, the waiter was great and apologetic. I spend all day giving my customers what they want and these jerk butts won't give a $3.00 app because I'm sitting in the wrong part of the building. They could be serving filet mignon for a buck and I will never come back because of a terrible customer service experience.

Food was good. We got sat right away but the service was probably the worst I have received in a long time. Our cups were constantly empty and we waited with kids for over an hour for our food to be fixed. Will not be going to ever again.

I was surprised this is the second time that I spent at the Best Western that this restaurant is attached and the first time I have tried this establishment. I actually tried it three times this visit. Visit#1 - We had delivery poolside of some pizza. It was pretty good pizza and it was brought to us fast Visit #2 - We went there for some dessert. The restaurant is pretty big and the service was very attentive. Everyone was very friendly.friendly. Tiramisu was VERY good. Visit #3 - Just stopped in by the bar to have a couple cold ones. It is a very good place to chill out a bit.

Meh.... So so would be an ok description. Poor service, food was ok, drinks weren't great. Food and drinks were forgotten, food was slow and not correct, drink orders got messed up.
(1)Sarah M.
Terrible service! Doubt a manager is on duty cause for sure no one on the floor. Super slow server didnt even really talk to us... 2nd time now that the service has sucked at this location. Not impressed at all...

We made a reservation for Saturday night at 7. Didn't really need it though, the place was virtually empty. We were seated immediately. The server came quickly and brought us water and took our drink order. He then made a few suggestions for dinner and gave us time to decide. Our beers came quickly, as did the bread. We ordered, based on his suggestions. We finished the bread and our dinner was served. Great service, very good meal, and attentive waiter, named Ryan. The only bummer was that it was so quiet, it would have been more fun with a little more action going on.
(4)Evelyn C.
If I were rating just the staff this would be a five star review. The gentleman who served us was very attentive and helpful. The happy hour prices can't be beat. The food was good but not great. Both of the house wines were very decent. The best part of my experience was their gluten-free menu which was given to me upon request. I appreciated it a lot!
(4)Rob G.
Not bad, I guess. We stopped here for the Mothers Day brunch buffet. The food was okay, and the staff and atmosphere were pleasant. I was a little bit disappointed with the lack of selection. The desserts were terrible; the few options that were available were all poorly prepared and presented. Maybe it was just a Holiday thing, but I had a lukewarm experience. It's got potential so I'll probably try it again someday.

I went to here after a recommendation from one of my customers because I was looking for a good happy hour spot around the suburbs that would have a good variety and that was true for Redrossa. I went for the Happy Hour. Its really hidden by the hotel its connected to and doesn't stand out in fact since they just opened it still has the smell of fresh paint, and lumber mix when you first walk in which goes away after looking at the menu for a few minutes. They have their own lot for parking. Since we were going for Happy hour menu which is only served in the bar area 9 to close and a second one from 3-6. We ordered mussels which was a decent size, artichoke dip which was really good just if they would give you more bread for the dip, the pizza was very good, chicken wings seemed like they were deep fried then put on the grill for the "grill taste" the sauce that came with it was very good, and calamari which was nothing special but a good amount for the price. Service was AWESOME they are super friendly, brought all the food at once, and wasn't bothersome on the checking up thing but enough times to show they cared. Also kept taking the empty plates away so we could have more room to move around on our table. I will definitely come back again for the Happy Hour and hopefully get a chance to try out their menu too.

I am going to give this place 4 stars based on my overall impression. The ambiance and seating comfort, 5 stars ! The service by our server, 5 stars ! The food, based on this one visit, needs some work. 3.5 stars ! I look forward to coming back here again to try other items, because it is so nice ! We came here and tried the Restaurant Week, Lunch special. I am willing to cut this place some slack, because they are attached to a hotel and it was a Sunday afternoon with very little business at the time, and it was at the very end of lunch service. I chose the Potato, Garlic, Soup w/ prosciutto soup and the, Spicy Chicken and Shrimp Romano. My lovely wife had the Chop Chop salad and Salmon Fuoco with Parmesan Risotto Cakes. First of all, the soup. The flavor was great. The serving size was generous but, it was way too thick. This might be because it had been simmering all day. The pasta was tasty but, it was supposed to have had a Romano cream sauce, there was hardly any sauce and it was not creamy. Could have used more flavor from some oregano and red pepper flakes perhaps. Not bad though. The Chop salad was delicious. I liked the addition of slivers of salami and green olives in the salad and a nice tangy dressing. The salmon, was the usual, farm raised, fishy tasting variety. The grilled Parmesan, risotto cakes my wife really liked. The clump of arugula on the plate was just there for the ride, as was the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes underneath the risotto cakes. I would not order this again. Overall very nice ambiance, burgers, and some panini sandwiches on the menu, along with pizza from a wood fired pizza oven, happy hour specials. The beer list could be better though.

Came here last week for restaurant week at 8pm. It wasn't even busy, there was a total of 2 other tables but it took them an hour to bring out our food, which is ridiculous. Our server was great, the food just came out supeerrrr-slooooowwwww. We didn't get our food until 9:30. RIDICULOUS. We waited all day to eat, we were STARVING. I ordered the calamari, chicken marsala, and the salted caramel panna cotta. The calamari was good, and I liked the sauce that came with it. The chicken marsala came on a bed of mash potatoes and topped with 3 asparagus. The sauce for the chicken was a little bit salty but it went well with the mash potatoes I guess. The salted caramel panna cotta was super good though! Highly recommend that one. The place was beautiful, everything interior was made of wood, with a wooden wine shelf on one wall. The ceiling had rectangular thin sheer fabric with two round lights in them, absolutely stunning. The place looks great!

This restaurant is inside the Best Western, across from Mall of America. It's a nice place to eat after a long day of shopping! I ate here twice. We were always seated quickly, and the staff were very welcoming. It was quite impressive that they make their own cheese! Drinks arrived quickly. They have great happy hour deals and awesome appetizers. I had the salmon risotto and it was just so-so (the salmon was dry and over cooked), but the overall experience was very nice. The place was jumping on a Friday night, with both the after-work crowd and families. It's a fun atmosphere. My only regret is that I wish I'd had time to try their pizza...I would not hesitate to eat there again.
(4)Michelle M.
Food is hit and miss for the price point. I recommend heading there during happy hour yet to try an appetizer I didn't like. Their calamari is excellent and so are the mussels when they have them, the Parmesan wings are some of the best wings I've ever tried they give Buffalo Wild Wings a run for their money. I am giving this 3 starts because their regular menu is not as good, however pizza is really good,
(3)Katrina J.
Really flavorful food. I would have taken a picture of it but I couldn't stop eating Burgers are moist and yummy and pizza is authentically Italian with a light crust.
(5)Deb D.
Margherita Pizza was awesome! They make the dough fresh daily and they also make there own mozzarella! Also baked in wood fired oven! Can't get much better than that. It's the restaurant connected to the Best Western on Killebrew behind the Mall of America.
(5)Guenther W.
Great stop after coming back on the light rail from a Twins game. Love the Peroni beer. And since it was Tuesday they had live music. Had the calamari and Italian wings. Both were good.
(4)Joanna T.
For chain Italian, Redrossa was fine. I had lunch here with a client because we didn't really want to hassle with getting in/out of the mall and Redrossa was right across the street. If you're planning to visit, it's attached to a Best Western. The interior reminds me of a Carrabas - fairly sterile with some pictures of Italy to make things seem more authentic. Prices are really reasonable - most everything is under $15 and they had a lunch special that was $10 and netted you a soup/salad and a smaller entrée portion. I ended up going with their Chicken Florentine pizza as the server described it as a pizza that used spinach artichoke dip as the sauce. I'm not going to lie - it wasn't healthy but it was pretty tasty. It was absolutely dead in Redrossa when we visited but our waiter wasn't terribly attentive. We had trouble getting refills and the check took awhile. Overall, the food was good and the prices are reasonable.
(3)Roseann S.
Thank you, Bloomington yelpers, for the recommendation to this restaurant. I'm from out of town, and wanted nothing more than a quick and satisfying bite. I came here for happy hour and got more than I expected: for $10, perfectly cooked steak w fries, Ketchup, and a blue cheese sauce. Don't ignore the tomatoes and arugula: the arugula gives a nice bite with the steak, and the tomatoes have been spiced up with a nice vinaigrette. Another tip for out-of-towners used to buying wine at the grocery store: you can't do that here. However, if you buy a bottle at a restaurant to have a glass and they cork the bottle for you, you can take it home with you. Super sweet!
(5)Drew C.
The food, when you can get it hot, is pretty good. I don't know what the issue is, but many times when I go for lunch, it takes a very long time to get the food, and often times it's Lukewarm or cold. I've gone with groups as small as five people and up to around 15 people, and in both cases the food comes out cold after a long wait. The chicken Marsala is delicious, and their tomato basil soup is great. Happy hours are better. You're not waiting for an entrée, or a salad, or a soup, so you don't really care that much when the food arrives. The happy hour specials are tasty, and I recommend the flatbreads and the Italian nachos. Like I said, if the food comes while it's still hot, it's usually good.
(3)Jen B.
Great dinner based on a recommendation from the hotel staff. The chicken parmesan and the steak & Gorgonzola pasta was great. Decent wine collection. Was pretty empty when we stopped in on a Friday night.
(4)Steve S.
Let's start with the good, decor and service. The restaurant is inside a Best Western hotel and is modern and clean. Every staff member I came in contact with was great and the pace of the meal was good as well. Now the bad.....the food. Horrible. Maybe not the worst Italian food I have ever tasted but pretty close. My salad was mushy with very little dressing and some of the lettuce tasted like it hadn't been washed. The chicken parm was easily the worst I've had anywhere. The little sauce that was on the plate was under the chicken and no sauce on the pasta...and the pasta was cold. I had the bruschetta as an app, nothing impressive about it.
(2)Sarah A.
Went with my family for Sunday lunch. Our server checked up regularly which was nice since it was not busy. He recommended food which we ended up ordering and left happy customers. It was pretty pricey but it was worth it.
(4)Todd L.
wait staff was prompt - I ordered the chicken Marsala - easily one of the best versions of this classic dish I have tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant
(5)Jeff F.
I got the pot roast. The meat was skinny and bland and the veggies were slop to the point where they were gross. The mashed potatoes were okay. My wife got a chicken panini. It had no flavor at all. The fries were obviously frozen and not hot. The service was okay, nothing special. Management had no personality. I would never go there again. It's worse than an Applebee's, chillis, TGI Fridays type place...
(1)Gregory S.
My boyfriend and I went here for a belated Valentine's Day dinner. The server was great but the food was not so great, but the manager that was there was super friendly and sincere about our concerns. I don't exactly remember what all my boyfriend had ordered but it was a pasta dish fettuccine dish and his noodles were over cooked. I order a 4 cheese mac and cheese and it was very overpowering also I had requested chicken added and the chicken was flavourful but dry. We stopped the manger and she could just see how the dishes were wrong, she comped them and then we ordered a pizza and oh my gosh what a difference it was nice and tasty. Overall I would give them a second chance and recommend the place again to a friend especially after a day at Mall of America it was cosey.
(4)Kathryn A.
I went to brunch with my family to redrossa for our first time. It was very delicious and the food was presented well. I ordered the chicken ciabatta, which was a great sandwich! I would definitely order it again. The fries on the other hand weren't bad but they were very thin and I like my fries to be thicker. We also split the chocolate torte dessert which was a good idea. They gave us a large slice of cake that is perfect for sharing with a few people. It tasted great too!
(4)Dan M.
Better than you'd expect. It's a chain and the service wasn't good but the food (pizza, pot roast) was pretty solid.
(3)Jessica V.
Absolutely loved my dishes from Restaurant Week. The pizza dough is fabulous and the bruschetta was the best I've had. The best part was the service and learning that regular lunch options are priced at $10 or a combo for only $9. My experience was definitely a pleasant surprise.
(5)Nate J.
We were blown away with the quality of the food and even ambiance. The happy hour wine was excellent and the martini's strong. If you are willing to escape the confines of the huge edifice next door I'd come here over any sit down restaurant at Huge Dale.
(4)Marlene P.
Just came home from happy hour at Redrossa's. I would never have gone here except Yelp reviews were so good. I tend to stay away from hotel bars but this was g! Wine was delicious and the appetizers were wonderful. We had the Italian nachos and the mussels. Loved them! This place is very cute and actually cozy. iDon't let the attached hotel scare you away This is a find
(5)AJ G.
We went here one Sunday after a long day of shopping at Ikea. When we walked in there was no one there to direct us to be seated. We had to flag down a passing waiter. A waitress was assigned to our table and if we had had better service, I would have given this 5 stars. She never once mentioned any specials or the fact that it was happy hour prices. She rolled her eyes and appeared as if she was annoyed by us whenever we had any requests. Getting a glass refilled was exceptionally difficult as she was standing at the bar reading the newspaper. The food, was exceptionally good - fresh and better than I have had at other Italian restaurants in the U.S. Unfortunately this waitress was not in the mood to work. It's also unappetizing when the waitress has a jewel dangling from her long green/blue fingernails. Probably won't go back because of this one person.
(4)Zach B.
Sub-par food and inadequate service. Didn't receive food (appetizers no less) for 40 minutes. And the bread (which was good) had just been out in the oven upon our arrival. The 40 minute wait, however, was due to the fact that everyone forgot to put the oven on. Very slow lunch service (3 servers and 5 occupied tables...you would think it would be fast). My friends and I will not be returning.
(1)Eugene S.
Excellent service and great food at a reasonable price
(4)Richard S.
My good friend Barbara C. called me last week reminding me I have a new girlfriend that I still need to impress, so she suggested I take her out to this new eatery, so last Saturday Colene & I went to this Brand New Establishment !!!! The decor is Fabulous, the food is fantastic !!! Colene ordered the Chicken & Potato in Cream Sauce and I ordered the Salmon Salad out of this world..... Tell em the Zero sent ya !!!!!
(5)Tarra G.
My boyfriend and I went there on our 2 year anniversary. He was craving lasagna with meat and we couldn't find anywhere worthy of our special night that served that. Out of no where this place popped up on my map so we checked it out. Beautiful inside, very quiet and romantic, Bill the general manager showed us some of the best customer service we've ever received. The lasagna was out of this world! Seriously - I don't ever crave lasagna but after 2 bites, I was hooked! We ordered one for the road! I also noticed they have a Living Social "Now" deal - we're coming back for sure!
(5)Rae B.
My group of four had a so-so experience. The place was practically empty, and there seemed to be enough waitstaff. Out of the four entrees, two were successful; being the lasagna and chicken parmesan. The Italian pepperadilla (meatballs, pasta, lemon sauce) was cold, dry, and bland. I mentioned this to the waiter and he seemed disinterested in the problem. I asked if he could bring some marinara, which he did do. But, it was cold. The other disappointment was the Mac and cheese. It just wasn't that great. The ambiance was nice, staff was friendly, except for the waiter not taking task with the cold meal I was given.
(2)Jill L.
Jeffrey is the best bartender! Great wings and the panna cotta is terrific. The menu is extensive and varied.
(5)Wailana H.
OK meal.... Horrible service! Guess the empty restaurant was a telling sign... Our large group (parents+kid=30+) had dinner here. So we could get individual bills, our orders were organized & sent days earlier. Arrived to the restaurant, tables were set & looked great. Families had "meal cards" to identify individual orders - nice. Server took our drink orders. 1st round of bread basket was short one basket it seemed. Asked for more. Oh wow - our meals were being served! Seemed pretty impressive. Wait - we don't have our drinks! The bar is in plain view so he can see our drinks, "they're almost done." Beer & bottles of wine... That's it. OK... 2nd round of bread. They must've been waiting for the bread to rise? Asked for more bread bc 2 baskets for a table of 20+ people, um, just doesn't seem to be enough. Ya'think??? Food is decent. (My orders of salmon salad & salmon fuoco were good.) No complaints. Yes, drinks eventually made their way to our table while meals were brought out. Few got dessert - nothing spectacular. Then we asked for our bills.... We don't know and still cannot comprehend what happened. Our bills came out one by one ever so slowly... Not.one.single bill was correct - not!one! Did I mention they were so slow to bring out our bills? There were 12 bills. 12 bills one by one brought to our table had to be corrected then re-entered... We waited OVER 1 1/2 HOURS for our bills. The last corrected bill never made it out before we left. Of course, we left cash for that bill since it was an easy 2 item, no drink order. How does this happen people??? Orders were sent days ahead of our arrival, but what should be entries to reconcile the bills at the end became the most unorganized, incompetent service I & many in my group have ever experienced!!! Yikes!!!

Went once to meet my parents and now it is our go to spot to meet. It has a grat atmosphere to the restaurant even though it is located in a hotel. These hotel restaurants usually scare me but this one changed my mind. One reason we chose this restaurant is because of dietary needs of gluten free and vegetarian. These requests were easily handled and the restaurant offered great choices to satisfy both needs. I got the pizza which came out with a nice crust and a good amount of melty cheese. It had a good amount of toppings. The pizza did not knock my shoes off but it got the job done. I also split a salad and thought the ingredients were great and had a nice and not overwhelming vinaigrette. My other visit was during their weekend brunch. I found this brunch to be a well stocked buffet. They offered all parts of brunch fro mini waffles to pasta dishes and salads. This variety made it great to make multiple trips to the line. Anytime any item was getting low it was stocked quickly with fresh new replacements. The service was good as it did not seem to be a problem but nothing too amazing. Overall great restaurant that is located in a hotel. I like the food and the would highly recommend the weekend brunch.

We went for Happy Hour , and had a very substantial meal for cheap. Margaritas, bloody Mary's , and beer are all cheap, and the food was ample in quantity and quality. Pretty good size woodfired individual pizzas , and a kids menu! Laid back, and pleasant service. A good stop outside the mall.

On Killebrew Dr. it's literally the end of the line, now I know what's down here. I was reading about the lasagne. We both order it. I had to admit it was better than a lot of Italian places in town. I don't expect the sauce to be great, that's a given. I really disliked the white sauce, unnecessary. what saved it, it was loaded with meat. I didn't like the greens in the salad, not romaine. Basil's potato soup was pretty good, in a generous crock. We shared a panna cotta dessert. Take note Soprano's, this is how it's done. It's a large portion for this dessert, most are pretty skimpy. The custard part was great. They cover it with caramel sauce, glad we told them to hold the salt. They just started Sunday brunch. They also have a lot of seafood, which will come in handy for the next lent. For a really nice atmosphere the music didn't match. It was so obnoxious I was going to dock a star, but after a long discussion, they are still working out the kinks on this one. Sadly, they have to hear it all day. It was worse then at Smashburger. A great hotel restaurant. Another thing that's weird and where it loses a nice atmosphere. The brown paper over white linen. Trying to have it both ways is just confusing for what you want it to be. I really like the hands on management, and the service is good too.

Stopped here earlier tonight because my date and I were looking for a nice spot we could meet for dinner halfway between our homes. Saw great Yelp reviews and thought let's give it a shot, and oh boy, it did not disappoint! I chose the lasagna for my entree. A bold take on an old favorite. Layered with a spicy meat like substance so fresh you can almost hear Sea Biscuit whinnying in the distance while you chew. Accompanied by a rich watery sauce with authentic tomato like elements such as the color red. Noodles from a box so fresh you can't tell where noodle ends and box begins. Slow cooked to perfection under the radiator and served just above room temperature. Just when you thought the taste bud trampling you just experienced couldn't be topped comes the true piece de resistance. This dish will assault your colon with a military like precision not seen since the allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy. Its true display of culinary artistic expression comes just a few short hours after consumption, you too will be turning your toilet into your very own and very brown Jackson Pollock painting. Master cleanse be damned! Get out there, coat your tongue in wax, rim your butt with vaseline and flush your system with this Italian Drano, you'll be glad you did.

Really good food and a good value. I have dined here a number of times on my trips in from Chicago and find it to be a cut above the typical chains you'll also find in the area. Service is always polite and very helpful on menu selections. I almost always get a portion that is larger than expected - even during happy hour when things get very inexpensive. Menu selection is beyond typical Italan and I think it is misclassified here as a pizza restaurant. Sure, they have it and it is very good, but there is so much more on the menu. Atmosphere is good but the restaurant has never been loaded with patrons so it might get noisy. Easily a top choice for this area.
(4)Christina B.
I live in the area and always wanted to try this restaurant. We walked in at 530 and the place was empty only a few people at the bar . So we ordered off of the happy hour menu which was very reasonable in prices. . Ordered the Italian Nachos made with pasta chips , very good but could have used a bit more cheese. Then we shared the caprese salad , which was terrible , come on it's end of summer the local farms and food companies do sell heirloom tomatoes or just good Minnesota grown tomatoes. The tomato on this plate was hard and no flavor what so ever. Then we got the pizza , it was just okay , I could tell that it was a frozen crust it was doughy and chewy not crispy enough coming out of a fire bake pizza oven they have. So all in all it was just okay , next time I'm going to Firelake grill house at the Radisson across the street again cause they use local farms and businesses for their menu.
(3)Michelle W.
There are a few items on this menu that are outstanding! I highly recommend the Italian chicken wings! For an entree - the pot roast is always tender and flavorful. I have tried some pasta dishes and was not a fan. There was a lobster/shrimp ravioli special one night that was to die for. A decent and not too crazy place for happy hour. I have always had good service at Red Rossa. The ambiance is very nice and it is a nice alternative to loud chain TGI Friday's across the parking lot. One tip - skip Sunday brunch!
(4)Bill R.
The food was tasty and the service was very good. Had a glass of wine and it was great, especially for six bucks. The location isn't the best but if I was in the area again I would stop in. Located at the Best Western near the Mall of America.
(4)Adam F.
Good pizza, high price on kids meals or 5 stars worthy.

Everything was very good. We ate there 2x over a weekend visiting the Mall of America. The Happy hour prices can not be beat. The brick oven pizza was great, i actually tired 4 total, the Italian, the chicken Alfredo, then just sausage, and just pepperoni. I think the less ingredients on those thin crust pizza, make for a crisper crust and a better pizza. I also tried the Italian nachos and mussels. Everything was great and well worth the price.

Three of us tried this place. One was in town on business and the other two of us came to visit. We had pizza, chicken fetuccine alfredo, and mac and cheese with chicken. All were excellent and the right size portions. The two sangrias we ordered were delicious. I would definitely return if we're in the area. Much better atmosphere and food than the places in Mall of America (and yes we've been to those as well).

This is near my work and one of our new favorite lunch spots. More reasonable prices than nearby Fridays and Chevy's plus it's a great atmosphere and good food! I'm happy it opened, I hope more people discover it, too!
