Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

If you are hankering for a great Asian dinner without breaking the bank, visit the Rose Garden in Blaine. Great Chinese food with good fresh flavor. I've eaten at many Chinese restaurants but this one beats them all for good food and inexpensive. Lunch buffet is $6.95 and they bring the food around in big bowls right to your table always fresh.

I have eaten at this location more than a few times, have had the take- out, and sampled their lunch buffet. The food is consistently good, served hot, quickly and in massive quantities. I am thankful they have switched out the traditional paper quart-boxes for take-out because the portions would not fit in them. The Szechuan Beef is phenomenal - order it double hot if you like a spicy meal. The General Tso's Chicken is wonderful if your tastes are on the sweet side. The rice is done very well here, whether it be in a fried-rice dish or just the plain white rice that comes with the meal. The Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers and Wontons are delicious. The servers are friendly and attentive. They really shine at the buffet, bringing the food to your table until you can eat no more. A very good deal.

The lo mein is the best I have ever had. I have to go back again and again. Sweet and sour chicken is great also

I've been going to Rose Garden for YEARS at the Coon rapids location and I wanted to try their second new location. Definitely A LOT bigger and cleaner. I'm happy to see this 14 year old family run company expanding. Every time I come back to visit my folks, I make it a must to eat there. I only go during lunch, and never had take out. The food hasn't changed. Don't go there expecting some creative healthy asian fusion cuisine. This is not the place. If you want traditional, american suburban style chinese food, grease and all. This place will definitely bring back the nostalgia. It's so cheap, I don't know how these buffet places stay alive... What's great about it is that you don't have to get up. The food comes to you. Mind you, it always the same 6-8 dishes... but you will end up being so full you probably won't be back for awhile. (that's how I feel after I leave) The waitresses are always friends and you can tell they work hard running around to every table offering homestyle plates. I hope people understand that you need to tip these waitresses!!! I see a lot people leave w/o putting any money on the table. It's really terrible... in a nutshell. it's $8, and the food comes to you.

I ordered the sesame chicken and chicken fried rice for takeout. The portions were enormous but the quality was very poor. I am not that picky about chinese food because a majority of it is very similar but I had to write a review on this place because it was so bad. The rice was dry to the point that it was almost crunchy. The sesame chicken was bland even for americanized chinese food. It tasted the way chinese tastes when you leave it in your fridge for 4 or 5 days and reheat it in the microwave. Any place that would put a product like that out the door doesn't deserve business. I'll never go there again. I should have been tipped off when they told me they don't accept credit/debit cards. Save your money.

This place is a unique and inexpensive chinese restaurant, a great value. This is kind of like a Don Pablos, a sit down buffet where people bring family sized batches of the dishes they prepare and serve them to you. At any one time there are one to two servers bringing around the next bowl of fresh off the wok food. I remember egg rolls, one or two stir frys, fried doughnuts, fried rice, and some other things. The great thing about this is you do not have to get up and the food is always fresh. This place is a great value.

I was going to this restaurant before it became really known. This is by far my favorite restaurant. This service is good, food is great, and added bonus of a small more personal warm like feeling. Their prices are low and the quality and freshness of the food is worth the stop to try.

We've ordered take out from here 3-4 times. First, the good: everything has good flavor. The house wings are so garlicky, the egg rolls have great flavor, nice spice in some dishes. Portion sizes are HUGE. They over fill the cartons (which can be messy, beware). After 2 people eating off an order of lo mein (skinny noodles, FYI) we still had a five cup Tupperware full of leftovers. This food will feed a crowd. The bad: everything is so, so greasy! We kept ordering thinking "maybe this dish won't be so bad", but always so greasy. Even the egg rolls are dripping. I'm not sure how that happens- grease not hot enough? They don't take credit cards. Small issue, but still slightly annoying. This is convenient and tasty, but the greasiness is off putting and we probably won't order again, sadly.

I had recently moved to Blaine and I am looking for some where to get good chow mein. I saw the photo from the Rose Garden in Coon Rapids and it looked perfect. Chunks of shrimp, veggies, pods etc... What I got in Blaine was not even close. Chicken ground so fine it looked like tiny flavorless pellets. Chicken should be stir fried in bite sized chunks. Huge disappointment I'll continue my search.

Not as good as last year. Sweet and sour pork didn't have the classic bright pink sauce like any suburban chinese place does -worse not one green pepper as they used to include. The vegetable egg foo young had a terrible off flavor as if chef added way too much liquid smoke to the dish. Portions are large but, lucky there are better places nearby like Angkor over on Northdale.
