Stopped here for dinner on our way to our boundary waters A member of our group inquired about the beer options and the conversation follows: Q:"what type of beers do you have?" A:"Sam Adams, miller lite, Summit, etc etc etc" Q:"what's Summit?" A:"it's a type of beer" ....crickets.... I can't vouch for their service, but I can vouch for the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. They were both great independent of each other but so much better together, just like turtles and ninjas.

Where to start?! This place is the greatest bar and grill....now motel!!! In Babbitt the food is by far the best and the atmosphere is great! Always an awesome and friendly staff to greet and take care of you! I can't wait to get back to the north woods and visit and see all the new progress!

When I say "Babbit", you'd say," Where?" Babbit. Where? Babbit. Where? Babbit. Little ole mining town in northern MN. Other questions might pop up, so I'll answer the ones you'd most likely ask: Yes. I actually went there and stayed the night. Yes. My man and I were the only Asians in the whole town. Yes. It was a little awkward. Yes. We came out alive. This Bar/Grill is a newly renovated joint after a fire burnt the old one down. There's about...oh 2 other places to eat in the town, so there's not much to choose from. But it's not a bad place to grab a bite and a beer. Low down: -"Famous" Chili: might be famous for being salty as hell. -Grilled Cheese: my little niece makes one just like it -Onion rings: yummy -Friday fish fry: pretty tasty friday special (unlimited!) -Service: sucked. All sandwiches are supposed to come with a side of fries or chips. The server didn't bother to ask before rushing away from the table, so I assumed he'd just throw some fries on my plate. Instead, i got a large plate with a single, small grilled cheese sandwich. When i asked, "Excuse me, doesn't this come with fries?" He replied, "Uh...yea, but you didn't ask for it." If it's supposed to come with fries, why the hell would I have to ask?? So here's some advice: when you order a sandwich, say "and I actually want my fries/chips with that."

I ordered the all you can eat fish fry. Delicious! It came with fries and coleslaw. Yummy. They know how to fry! Service was good.
