Great Minnesota comfort food. Fantastic breakfast, hash browns are alway crispy on the outside creamy on the inside. Specials are very good also.

Service was good but the eggs were supposed to be over medium, they were so undercooked that I wouldn't considerate them over easy. This happened two times that we have been there. We will try a different place.

If you're looking for a special order, this is not the place to go. If you order a special order the owner will complain that you're making it hard for her cooks. Food is around average. Price is comparable. Overall would not choose to go here over another small town diner.

I've been coming to Alex since I was little because of our family cabin. We recently discovered this place and we all love it- their food is amazing, generous portions, staff is very nice, you're in and you're out quick. Very nicely priced- definitely love looking forward to Jan's on the cabin trips!

Great breakfast and friendly service. Nothing out of the ordinary or imaginative, but really good food. Some friends of ours that stay up in the area quite a bit swore by this place and it didn't disappoint.
