I have not been to an Arby's since Reagan was president. I do not know why. I saw some coupons in the paper and recalled the delicious Market Fresh sandwiches from the 80s. Had to have some. Used the coupon for two for one action! Staff here is really great - helpful and friendly. Wish other places were like this. Made me feel welcome. Note: the guy with the douchebag attitude and swagger who uses the back of his hand as a napkin need to learn about actually using napkins. No class! Knuckle dragger! I will definitely return for more tasty food action!

It's not easy finding a non-cod fish sandwich, so I was happy to see that Arby's had Alaskan Whitefish for theirs. Can't tell the difference? The cod used at most places is rectangular, while the whitefish is triangular. That's today's biology lesson. So, I toddled over to the place which, gladly, is not too far from me. I hopped on the small combo, which added pop and curly fries to round out the meal. Everything was pretty tasty and appropriately temperatured (new word of the day). The price was great, too. Just $5.30 for the whole thing. A step above usual fast food fare. The staff was nice and quick, getting my order just the way I wanted it. The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom.

Terrible drive-thru service. She handed me one big bag out the window, I asked her a couple times before I pulled away if that was everything and she said yes...my mistake was not going through the bag myself but I had a fairly big order ($28) and didn't want to take the time to verify everything...just wanted to get home and eat. Got home and half my food was missing. It was supposed to be dinner for five people. Nope. Thanks for nothing, Arby's.

I've never been keen on fast food places. Had not been to an Arby's in twenty years. But, the other day a coworker was telling me about the cod fish sandwich that they have right now. He said it was a righteous piece of cod. And explained that there is a 2 for $4 special price going on. Ok, I just had to rush out and give it a try. I scooped up hubs and off we went making our way to the drive through. There I found the current menu to be intriging. Much improved over what I remember. They now have salads and gluten free selections. I made a mental note to go back and try some of the new items. We tabbed out at $6.36 for two sandwichs and curley fries. The sandwich was good. A huge piece of cod, cooked flaky in a light batter and tasty. The curley fries were crispy, non-greasy and had a lot of seasoning. The check out staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Needless to say I will return.

I guess you rate things not for what they could be, but for what they are. If that's the case, Arby's OK. Nothing special, just OK. I tend to gravitate to the cheap stuff when I go for fast food, so I get what I deserve. For about $6 I came away with a shake, a soda, 2 ham & cheese sandwiches, 1 roast beef, and an order of curly fries. Sure the sandwiches were small and just had a small amount of meat, but a little Arby's sauce, a little Horsey sauce and me and my so had a reasonable lunch. I don't really recommend it for gourmet diners, but sometimes, you just want something different than a cheap hamburger when you're on the go.
