More like 4.5 stars. Service was fantastic and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was decent. I like it when you chose your spice, but I always am questioned if I want it that spicy. I was encouraged by the choices and I got drunken noodles with chicken which tasted excellent. I didn't like the fried basil because it was hard and had a twig like texture. My husband a seafood dish that was good but a bit too salty. All in all very good and recommend everyone to check it out!

I have a tried and true Thai restaurant that I always order from, but, a friend suggested Little Bangkok and it was on the way to work, so I gave it a try. I had the Pad Thai and Fresh Rolls. The Fresh Rolls were incredibly flavorful. The Pad Thai wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was still really good. If I'm ever on my way to work and have a hankering for Thai food, I'll definitely place another order.

OK first I must say that my wife and I are Thai food snobs. We've been to Thailand multiple times and had some good Thai around the local area too. Our go too is Thai Palace in Holland, MI...great food, close to authentic as we've had here. Now.....we ate here tonight. It was not good to put it honestly. The place was nicely decorated and the waitress of polite enough - that was the end of the positives. The satay was huge chunks of chicken - should have been small slices....also very bland. The sauces were very bland as well. The pad see ew dish was drenched in gravy - this dish should not have gravy at all. The curry was just "off" on taste. Honestly, it was the worst Thai food we've had (and to even call it Thai food is a bit of a knock on real Thai food). Harsh review but honest.

Outstanding! Make sure to get some fresh rolls. I have tried many different items and they're all good.

I reviewed this restaurant about 8 months ago and gave it a raving review. However, after ordering multiple different items off of their menu since that time I am quite disappointed in this place. Not nearly as authentic as I originally thought. The food is very greasy and the majority of he dishes I have ordered since my first visit have been disappointing. Fortunately I have found another Thai restaurant in Grand Rapids that I prefer. The service at this restaurant is absolutely miserable. I was eating there with my dad once and practically had to walk back in the kitchen to get someone to take our order. And they never apologized and made us feel unwelcome the entire time. My husband had placed take out orders and they have been rude to him and have gotten the order wrong. They don't have the traditional Thai drinks like boba or Thai iced coffee either. Which I love. I won't be returning any time soon.

I've had Thai food across the US and this place is near the top of the list. Fresh ingredients, excellent portions, great flavors, and plenty of options. The curry dishes are very flavorful. Would have been a 4 because service can be a bit slow on busy nights, but the food makes up for the sometimes slow service.

So, I've been here a half dozen times since it opened. I'm a bit of a Thai Food fiend. And this place, well, it has some kinks to work out, the plating, spice level, etc, are pretty inconsistent, but even with that factored in it has the best Thai food on this side of town. Plus the service is always quick and friendly. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to give it a 5 star rating once they get things sorted out.

I've been eating Thai food for years. I love it. Went to Little Bangkok for lunch. Nice place, updated, busy, clean. My favorite item to order when I get Thai is the Pad Se-ew. If you aren't familiar with this dish, it's a wide noodle stir fry with your choice of meat or seafood with a brown sauce that is rich in flavor, a little sweet, and can be as spicy as you want it. They had it on the menu, so I ordered Beef Pad Se-Ew, medium spice level. It was as good as I have had anywhere. I didn't try anything else, but if what I had is representative of the overall quality, it was right on target. Very tasty. No reason not to be back.

Very good food and very good service. I highly recommend Little Bangkok if you're in the mood for Thai food. I had peanut curry over wide noodles with shrimp and it was delicious.

This is owned by the same family as the one out in cascade. The food is good and fresh service is fast and friendly. If your first timer try the Pad Thai, it won't disappoint.,

best Thai I've ever had. our waitress was attentive, kind and had a lovely demeanor. our food was served to us in about 5 minutes. everything was cooked perfectly. the menu selections are priced so moderately. the quality of food seemed as if it should be much more expensive.

Great food and nice hosts. We went on Friday around 8:30 but there was only one other couple. The food is good, excellent service. We ordered chicken satay for appetizers, and then a red curry of pork and house special fried rice. I thought that the chicken satay was more of a fried chicken strip on a stick than satay preparation..., at least in the different Thai restaurants we've been to. But it was not cbad, even if the chicken was a little tough and dry. The house special fried rice was awesome! So was the red curry with with pork.

I've eaten here a few times, mostly for take out, but it has consistently been mediocre. Every time I get something with chicken I notice it's either undercooked or just barely firm. In addition I wish they put more vegetables/protein and less of the rice/pasta in their dishes. The flavors of the dishes are good though and they have a good variety of tastes. The Pad Austin is my favorite. Service was good. I will continue to go here because it's one of the only decent Thai places in Wyoming.

This place should be busier. Come on! You're missing out if you don't! My friends and I were hesitant at first because of the mediocre reviews this restaurant was receiving, but we wanted to be adventurous and try something new. And I'm glad we did! It was a very enjoyable experience! The restaurant has everything a date night or a friend outing would want. Good food, ambiance and service. I'm a HUGE fan of their fresh rolls! I've never tried fresh rolls with thin vermicelli noodles and now that I've tried them, it's been decided that its really how fresh rolls should always be made! Thank you for your originality! There are not many Thai places that use mint (normally they use basil). I'm grateful this place does! What a refreshing appetizer! My only recommendation is that I wish we had more of a fish sauce or hoisin sauce-peanut sauce condiment. But maybe I'm just too accustom to the Vietnamese summer roll... Hehe We had pad Austin with fried tofu and it reminded me of a creamy yet sweeter peanut curry noodle. My sweet tooth friends thoroughly enjoyed the dessert curry sauce but I thought it was a bit too sweet for an entree. I would probably order something else next time. Note: Although we ordered no spice, there was a tiny kick to it. So for you that fear spice order NO spice, don't be brave and order mild! :) Overall I would visit this location again when I visit GR. :)

Flavors are good for a non-spicy eater like myself. Food was fresh and delicious. I ordered fresh rolls and chicken basil curry. One complaint I have about the food is the lack of protein... My fresh rolls had very very small shrimp, in very small amounts in proportion to the noodles/vegetables inside. The dipping sauce was different, but still good. The curry tasted really good, but I only noticed about three pieces of chicken in my meal The service was good at the beginning, but while waiting for our waitress to take the bill, all the staff disappeared. And then the phone started ringing, which wasn't picked up until almost 15 minutes later. It was three o'clock in the afternoon and we were the only table there, so I understand if there was a staff meeting or something of that sort. Will come again to try the other entrees.

I have no idea what some of these reviews are raving about? The food is ok at best, I've ordered about 6 different more authentic thai dishes and they were all bland. I know everyone is different but I think this place is more aimed at the west mi dutch mafia palette and not the authentic thai flavors and spices that most foodie enjoy. I'm not trying to be negative I just think there's money better spent in this area. The restaurant is clean and new. Friendly staff

Probably the best Thai food I have had. Ever. Be careful when ordering how hot you want it, because their hot is like sweltering hot. Also, their crab rangoons are killer. Soooo good.

My go-to place was closed today so I gave Little Bangkok a try after reading reviews here. I got crab ragoons and vegetable pad thai. Based on what others said, I ordered mildly spicy. Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. The ragoons had essentially no filling at all. My pad thai was ok but barely has any sauce at all, mostly dry noodles with no spice at all. The service was polite..

Great food, good atmosphere, and friendly service. A new restaurant so they have a few things to work on service wise. But overall a good dining experience. I will definitely be going back.

I had the Basil Pad Curry - it was fabulous. A nice building heat that doesn't overpower the food. My husband and daughter had the house fried rice. She said it was the best fried rice! It's nice to have a Thai place closer to home.

Great service, very quick, and food was flavorful. I recommend Pad Austin. Be careful with level of spice.

Best Thai food that we have had in West Michigan! They are definitely generous with the spiciness, so beware - probably best to order at least one level below what you would normally get. We love the Pad Thai with curry sauce, rangoons, and chicken satay. We highly recommend.
